Isn't it funny how we all love a game where wrestling is set in the far future, yet we yearn for the past too? LOL.

So following on the heels of the Crockett Cup, they're uploading two (presumably) complete shows from the 1986 Great American Bash tour!

WWE Hidden Gems is back again this week – and with a bang. We can exclusively confirm two WWE Hidden Gems additions set to arrive on WWE Network tomorrow and they come from Jim Crockett Promotions. More specifically, they appear to be complete or near complete shows from the Great American Bash 1986 tour!

Both uploads set to arrive on the 4th of July, a patriotic holiday in the United States, near three hours in run time. One show will be the Charlotte destination headlined by Ric Flair vs. Ricky Morton, while the other will be a Greensboro stop headlined by Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes. We can’t confirm whether or not the shows are actually complete but judging by the run time, at the very least the bulk of the shows will be available.

07/05/1986 – GAB 1986 Charlotte [Duration: 02:53:27]
Ric Flair puts the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Ricky Morton in a Steel Cage Match as the Bash rolls into Charlotte.

So, finally getting a chance to watch the Crocket Cup... and in the slightly hilarious department, I had totally forgotten that the Road Warriors had at one point done their own theme song... holy crap, that was so terrible it was noteworthy

I agree. It's not categorized well now, in my opinion. Instead of by year, it's by weird subject groups they've developed. And not everything is back up yet. I can't find the Pro Wrestling USA show from December 1985, headlined by Stan Hansen winning the AWA title from Rick Martel. Hopefully things will continue to be posted.

This is a *really* fun show, with the RnR/MX match and Garvin/Flair match both being incredible matches.

Hey, look on the bright side. It still beats being on my roof with a coat hanger and some tin foil trying to illegally tap into WrestleMania 7. Ah, the good 'ol days. Kids these days don't know how good they have it!
