The WWE Network Hidden Gems section has been doing a "12 Days of Christmas uploads" gimmick recently. We're halfway through, and there's been a WCCW 1981 show, a Mid South 1983 show, and mostly important, four AWA Christmas house shows, spanning 1981-1984!
Lots of great stuff out there, including some of our recent Legends releases, so check it out if you're interested!

Sounds good, AWA content is something the WWE Network has been seriously lacking as they have mostly had the same 10 episodes there for a long time.

I'm glad to see them adding as much AWA as they have, my only gripe is that Bockwinkel/Robinson match from one of the Christmas shows is joined in progress. We get like 15:00 or so and I'm happy to take what I can get but man, with those two I want to see the whole match. It's probably out of WWE's control, obviously, but still frustrating. Hopefully these shows get enough views for them to start posting more AWA footage. I want more Bockwinkel!
It also appears that they're going to be adding ECW Holiday Hell 2000 as part of this Hidden Gems series, which is neat because it's the final ECW Arena show (and it can be argued it's the final 'real' ECW show) and there's a great FBI/Unholy Alliance tag on that show.

Shame but that was often the case back in the day. Stampede would do 30 plus minute Bret Hart and/or Dynamite Kid matches and then show 10 minutes.

The 1983 AWA Christmas show has Billy Robinson vs. Brad Rhenigans. Between that revelation and getting the new set, I think my afternoon is sorted. Shame but that was often the case back in the day. Stampede would do 30 plus minute Bret Hart and/or Dynamite Kid matches and then show 10 minutes. The most frustrating thing about that is there were clearly some promoters (Watts) who saw value in keeping most of, if not everything, taped and complete whereas other promotions (see: most of them) did this kind of stuff. I've spent like half my life at this point buying stuff from that era only to be disappointed that I'm getting maaaaaaybe 1/3 of the match I wanted to see. Granted I'll take what I can get, but with some stuff (again, Bockwinkel/Billy) it's hard to not be upset that you get 15:00 of what appeared to be a great match that probably went at least twice that long.

So according to WWE Network News, Holiday Hell 2000 is in fact *not* part of the 12 Days of Hidden Gems.
I wonder what happened? They showed clips of the main event on the trailer..

The AWA episode recently put on Hidden Gems (with all the awful chroma-key backgrounds for the entrances) is WrestleCrap gold!!!

They added the Corino/Sandman/Credible 3 way from the ECW show, but nothing else.
They also added one of the joint NWA/AWA "Pro Wrestling USA" shows from 1985 with the Hansen/Martel title change!

They added the Corino/Sandman/Credible 3 way from the ECW show, but nothing else. It's a shame they didn't throw up the full show, it's actually one of the better late era Arena shows. They also added one of the joint NWA/AWA "Pro Wrestling USA" shows from 1985 with the Hansen/Martel title change! I was kind of mind blown when I read this was being added. My sub lapsed but uh...think I might have to throw $10 down tonight for this one.

A four hour version of the 1986 Crockett Cup was added to Hidden Gems today. I believe this is the most footage ever released of this event! I think I just found my weekend plans!
