VINCE McMAHON AND THE WWF DO NO ACKNOWLEDGE BROCK LESNAR AS CHAMPION
In a surprise to nobody, Vince McMahon and the WWF no longer acknowledge Brock Lesnar as the WWF World Heavyweight Champion since his departure for the NWA with belt in hand. A new champion has since been crowned in Andre the Giant, the one and only “True WWF Champion of the world” so says Vince McMahon. However, insiders report that McMahon remains furious behind the scenes and will not back down from a fight against Ted Dibiase and the NWA for ownership of the actual title belt. Whether in court or in the ring, Vince vows to get back the WWF belt that belongs to him.

According to the NWA board of champions, Brock Lesnar is the only recognized WWF World Heavyweight Champion, and all others are impostors. This is getting real ugly real fast between Vince and the WWF and Dibiase/Brock and the NWA.
MORE CONTRACT CONTROVERSY TO ADD FUEL TO THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS FIRE?
September is a huge month for expiring contracts in both the NWA and in the WWF. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, NWA WORLD CHAMPION Sting and the Road Warriors are all up for new deals at the end of the month. In the WWF, INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat, “HBK” Shawn Michaels , Batista and Randy Orton are all due for meeting with Vince about signing new deals. Who ends up where in October?!?
VINCE REPORTEDLY TRYING TO STEAL TOP NWA SUPERSTARS
After the stunning departures of Brock Lesanr, Bret “the Hitman” Hart and “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig to the NWA last month, Vince McMahon is reportedly livid, and planning massive revenge against “The Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase for poaching his talent. Insiders report that Vince is making it his life goal to steal away some combination of Ric Flair, Sting and the Road Warriors. Some reports say he is so determined to steal a top talent from the NWA he may be willing to let a guy like Steamboat, HBK or Orton walk and leave for the NWA (or somewhere else). Big drama is coming in October!
LEX LUGER INJURED BY BROCK LESNAR! OUT OF THEIR MATCH AT BASH AT THE BEACH
Soon after Lex Luger was announced as the challenger for Brock and his WWF title at Bash at the Beach, Luger was attacked and injured at a press conference by Lesnar. Brock put Luger through a table with an F5, sending the “Total Package” to the injury report. Brock called for an open challenge and his challenge was accepted by Luger’s tag team partner, Barry Windham! Despite being surprised by the challenge, Luger is pulling for his friend against the Beast. “That was my title shot, but Barry stepped up to the plate and took it once I went down. i wish he had told me he was going to do that, but I’m still cheering for him.” says Lex. Luger promises to deal with Lesnar when he returns. “This isn’t over. Brock is going to regret ambushing me!”
JOHN CENA HAS A STALKER
Somebody really doesn’t like John Cena. Over the past few weeks a string of strange and mysterious circumstances have haunted Cena, endangering his life! The first incident occurred when Cena was working out at the gym and a stack of weights came within inches of slamming down on his face! A second incident involved a fire in his kitchen while Cena was distracted answering his doorbell. Now Cena can’t go anywhere or do anything without looking over his shoulder. The good news is John Cena thinks he knows who his stalker is and plans to confront him on Jake Roberts “Snake Pit” show later this month.
NEW BRITISH BULLDOGS COMING TO THE WWF
A new wrestler from England will be debuting soon in the WWF - the “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. Dunne will be forming a tag team with Davey Boy Smith and the two will be known as the new British Bulldogs. Dunne is a student and recent graduate of the Hart Dungeon, and will join Owen Hart, Kevin Owens and Davey Boy on the Hart Foundation in the WWF.
BLADE MACHISMO IS ON HIS WAY TO THE WWF TOO
Vignettes have begun airing on WWF TV of a new bad guy wrestler debuting soon named Blade Machismo. Blade is a big guy with a lot of flash who loves to treat the little guy like garbage by flicking toothpicks in the faces of average men. Blade might find it hard to bully the Superstars of the WWF once he arrives!

This is a big Wrestlemania re-match where Stone Cold defeated Bruno with a STUNNER. This time around, Bruno (2) survives a (+4) STONE COLD STUNNER but soon after takes a nasty soil outside of the ring and twists his knee badly. Bruno cannot make it back into the ring and is counted out.

After the match, Stone Cold is sympathetic to Bruno and helps him to his feet —— then tries to STUN him but Bruno stops it and puts Austin up into a BACKBREAKER RACK! Bruno tosses Austin into the ring post and leaves him lying in a heap. Bruno refuses help and limps back up the ramp and medics attend to Stone Cold.
“THE HEARTBREAK KID” SHAWN MICHAELS vs. THE ROCK
It’s “Mr. Wrestlemania” vs. “The People’s Champion!” HBK (3) needs to connect 3 times with SWEET CHIN MUSIC but finally the Rock (4) stays down for the 3 count.

After the match HBK extends a handshake to the Rock and instead hits him with a 4th SWEET CHIN MUSIC!
We see a video package recapping the dangerous events surrounding John Cena the past few weeks…things like almost being crushed by falling weights at the gym and his kitchen catching on fire while answering the doorbell…We see Cena accusing Jake Roberts of being behind the stalking on the Snake Pit, and then being attacked by the Ultimate Warrior. The Ultimate Warrior has since claimed to have deep and disturbing images of a great evil in John Cena - a great evil that must be defeated and destroyed now before it’s too late. So far, few are sympathizing with Warrior and Cena is calling him bat shit crazy.

The Honky Tonk Man (3) upsets Ricky Steamboat (5) after GUITAR SMASH to win the WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE! Honky cheated all match, trying several roll ups using the tight and even bloodied Steamboat by hitting him outside of the ring with Jimmy Hart’s mega phone. Hart helps out again breaking up a PIN save after DIVING CROSS BODY distracting the ref long enough for Honky to smash Steamboat with his guitar and make the cover. Steamboat is stretchered out.
Winner: The Honky Tonk Man wins the WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE.
