NWA WORLD CHAMPION STING HEADED FOR JAPAN!
The Stinger is headed for a three fight tour of Japan after contract talks stalled between the
NWA Champion and the NWA.
Sting is expected to continue negotiations upon his return to the states. But will the NWA World Heavyweight Championship come back home with him? Sting is scheduled for 3 massive title defenses while oversees. First it’s Sting versus Mitsuharu Misawa, then Sting defends versus Jumbo Tsuruta. Finally, Sting closes his tour of Japan with a champion versus champion, titles versus title super match versus IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi. All of this after first defending the NWA title versus Bret “the Hitman” Hart in Texas at Parade of Champions. Huge month for the Stinger!

BRISCO BROTHERS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO THE NWA!
The NWA has been running vignettes for the Brisco Brothers for weeks, and their debut is finally upon us. The incredible brother duo are expected to debut on fight card #14 for NWA World Championship Wrestling on TBS at 6:05 pm EST from the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, GA.
DAVE MELTZER ENTERS THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS!
Legendary pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has officially started chronicling the Monday Night Wars! Dave will begin reporting on the biggest super cards of the month, rating each match and giving his unbiased commentary on all the results in the MNWars Fed. Check out the two big Halloween shows this month for Dave’s work!
MILLION $ OFFER TO THE MACHO MAN?
The biggest rumor going around this month is that NWA owner the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase has offered the Macho Man Randy Savage a million dollars for his MITB briefcase! Can it possibly be true? Is the deal of the year going on behind the scenes behind a WWF wrestler and the owner of the NWA? Insiders say Dibiase plans to buy the MITB contract from Savage - then use it to hijack the main event of Wrestlemania! So far this is just a big rumor with zero evidence. But keep your eyes open fans. Because everybody has got a price for the Million Dollar Man!
THE NWA LOCKS UP THE NATURE BOY FOR 7 BIG FIGHTS
Big news in the NWA as the Nature Boy Ric Flair has re-signed with the company for 7 more big matches. There was some concern Flair would deflect to the WWF, but no dice. The Four Horsemen remain a powerful force in the NWA and will stay that way for the immediate future.
ARE THE ROAD WARRIORS ON THEIR WAY OUT OF THE NWA?
Unlike Flair, the Road Warriors did not sign on the dotted line with the NWA…yet. Rumor is the Road Warriors will take a short tour of the indies (1 fight card) then follow that up with a 3 match tour of Japan! When they return they will open up negotiations with the NWA again. So stay tuned!
THE WWF RE-SIGNS THREE OF THEIR OWN
After failing to snag Sting, Ric Flair and the Road Warriors (at least for now…), the WWF put their money back into their own investments re-signing HBK (9 matches), Randy Orton (7 matches) and Ricky Steamboat (5 matches).

HALLOWEEN HAVOC IS UPON US!
The NWA presents Halloween Havoc at the end of the month and may be panicking with NWA Champion Sting headed out of the states until then. Sting is scheduled to defend the NWA title at the show in what could be his last match in the NWA, or his first match of his new contract. Find out at Halloween Havoc!
WWF PRESENTS INVASION OF THE BODY SLAMMERS
To counter Halloween Havoc, WWF is planning for a Halloween show of their own called Invasion of the Body Slammers! Andre the Giant is scheduled to defend the WWF title against the Undertaker in the main event.

Tricky Nick (3) retains his AWA WORLD TITLE using the ropes for leverage after a ropes reversal to pin Kevin Von Erich (4).
WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE
Honky Tonk Man (c) vs. David Von Erich
David Von Erich (2) wins the match but not the title when the Honky Tonk Man is disqualified after Jimmy Hart’s outside interference.
WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Andre the Giant (c) vs. Bruno Sammartino
Bruno Sammartino dominates Andre the Giant (9) to win the WWF World Heavyweight Title with BEARHUG! NEW WWF CHAMPION! This was nuts seeing Bruno throw Andre around effortlessly. Andre loses for the 1st time this year.

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Hulk Hogan
Brock Lesnar (2) retains the WWF title submitting Hulk Hogan (5) w the KIMURA.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Sting (c) vs. Bret Hart - SUBMISSION MATCH
A bloody Sting (7) makes a heroic comeback to slap on the SCORPION DEATH LOCK and hold on for dear life until Bret “the Hitman” Hart submits to retain the NWA WORLD TITLE.
WWF TAG TEAM TITLES
Brothers of Destruction (c) vs. Wild Samoans
The Wild Samoans were no match for the long time WWF Tag Champs. DOUBLE CHOKE SLAM pins Afa (2) in under 3 minutes.
Big stare down in the aisle way between the Brothers of Destruction and Brody/Hansen.
NWA TAG TEAM TITLES
Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody (c) vs. Big Van Vader & Sid Vicious
The match ends quickly when the Road Warriors rush the ring from the crowd and attack Brody and Hansen. This was payback for Brody/Hansen taking the belts off of the Roadies and Hawk and Animal a few weeks back. Vader and Sid get the DQ win and demand another shot at the belts, livid with the Road Warriors.

Great Muta (c) vs. Nikita Koloff
Mute is disqualified for MUTA MIST against Nikita Koloff (2)…after the match, Muta is about to attack Magnum T.A. when Dusty Rhodes makes the save and sends Muta running…

The show opens with Tony Schiavone hyping the impending debut of the Brisco Brothers when out to the podium comes…the Briscoe Brothers! There is surprise and confusion on the faces of everybody except Mark and Jay Briscoe, who are all smiles. Tony Schiavone asks Mark and Jay what the heck are they doing here and they have no idea what he’s talking about. “We’re here!” says Mark. “We made it!” The crowd goes wild as out walks Jack and Jerry Brisco! The Brisco Brothers stand face to face with the Briscoe Brothers! “Can’t you even read your own damn name?” asks Jack. “There’s no E in Brisco!” says Jerry. Mark and Jay are still confused and getting irritated. Jay says the only Briscoe Brothers they know are here and ready to fight! He challenges Jack and Jerry to a fight right now! But Jack and Jerry huddle for a moment, then up the stakes. Jerry says there isn’t room in the NWA for four Brisco/e Brothers. Jack and Jerry challenge Mark and Jay to a best of 7 series with the winner staying in the NWA. The loser “can go be stooges in that circus in NY!” Mark and Jay accept! And match 1 in their Best of 7 series starts right now!

The show opens with Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin is out to congratulate Bruno Sammartino on winning the WWF Title. Austin invites Bruno to the ring and the new champ comes out to a roaring ovation from the OK crowd. Austin says Bruno beat 19 other men in a battle royal, then he did the unthinkable by beating Andre the Giant - but Bruno is 0-2 versus Stone Cold…Stone Cold says if you want to see Steve Austin versus Bruno Sammartino for the WWF title at Invasion of the Body Slammers “GIMME A HELL YA! “ The crowd responds with a “HELL YEAH!” Bruno accepts! Austin tries to offer Bruno a beer to celebrate but Bruno declines. Austin is offended. Austin demands Bruno drink a beer. Bruno refuses. Austin pretends like he is going to stun Bruno - but instead he drinks both beers then throws the empties at Bruno as he exits the ring to his music…It’s Bruno vs. Austin in the main event of Invasion of the Body Slammers!
Kane (3) wins a 20 man overt the top rope battle royal to earn a shot at the WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE at Invasion of the Body Slammers versus the Honky Tonk Man…Kane last eliminated Bam Bam Bigelow to win. After the match Honky Tonk Man is hesitant to sneak up on Kane and smash him his guitar…when he gets close, Kane erupts the ring posts with fire sending a terrified Honky running for cover…
A series of John Cena vignettes air. Cena is trying to get his head straight after being stalked and beaten by the Ultimate Warrior. But Cena is struggling. Cena drives to the gym but is afraid to go inside and work out. Cena is afraid to cook at home, instead eating nothing but dry cereal. Cena freaks out and beats up the UPS guy when he gets paranoid and mistakes him for the Ultimate Warrior. The vignettes end with Cena apologizing to a bloody and unconscious UPS guy…Cena will fight the Ultimate Warrior in a FACE YOUR FEARS MATCH at Night of the Body Slammers…
The Rock (4) beats HBK Shawn Michaels (5) by disqualification after HBK smashes Rock outside the ring with a video monitor, busting him wide open…
“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff (3) upsets Hulk Hogan (3) in STEEL CAGE MATCH after PILEDRIVER when “Nature Boy” Ric Flair shocks the world by entering the cage and attacking Hogan allowing Orndorff to escape. Flair escapes through the crowd as WWF security chases him down as we fade to black!

The show opens with Brock Lesnar in the ring, fresh off his WWF title defense versus Hulk Hogan at Parade of Champions. Paul Heyman says Brock is done having fun and is ready to get serious. Brock officially challenges Sting for the NWA WORLD TITLE at Halloween Havoc! Brock and Heyman anxiously await an answer as Sting is currently touring Japan.
