Who ya got? I think Jim is right again. Are we talking about something in particular or in general? It sounds like you are referring to a specific incident.

Ok. Read it and have to agree with Corny. And I tend to agree with most of his criticism of indy wrestling, which I happen to be a big fan of. In this case, and with Joey "My Career Has Been Reduced To A Never Ending Dick Joke" Ryan, wrestlers spend too much time now trying to get noticed rather than honing their skills in the ring. I almost can't blame guys like Ryan. He's a mediocre wrestler who has toiled years with not a lot to show for it. But newer talent breaking in see the crap he does and thinks that is how they should approach the business.

Give me the Outlaw Mud Show Wrasslin'!
Was it gross? Yeah. Did it get Priscilla Kelly a bunch of publicity and probably more bookings in the future? Yeah. Mission accomplished!
I personally see no problem with the spot given the type of show this was on and the goal of wrestling, to get noticed and make money. Sure its not everyone's cup of tea, but in this case was effective.
I also love Jim Cornette's role in the IWC. Any time anything that bucks tradition or uses creative license in wrestling too far in the minds of many, the first thing everyone wants to hear is Jim rant on it. That's a great position he is in.

Since I’m friends with Jim and our son is one of the few kids Corny likes...my vote is Jim
Honestly, wrestling isn’t wrestling any more. It’s performance art...and that’s fine, but just call it whaf it is.

The sport/artform continues to change for better or worse (often both simultaneously). Pro wrestling is certainly accepted as more of a performance artform today, even though it always has been to some degree. Some of the "realism" has been sacrificed for entertainment, which I am all for personally, but I'm guessing I'm in the minority among hardcore wrestling fans.

She can't get publicity or booked without pulling her tampon out? I certainly would not pay to see her or Joey Ryan.

Cornette made another good point a few weeks back when some obscure Indy guy broke his face and skull doing a 450 flip face first into the concrete. At some point the only criteria to become an Indy wrestler was to show up at the show. Literally any average Joe off the street can get a job in Indy wrestling.
