Knew we'd get a dq in there somewhere. Not the way I wanted Volkoff to win but I'll take it.
Like both guys but have to go Race in the next match.

Race so far has just refused to go down in my matches, I give this one to him.

I quadruple that emotion bookerbill. Gotta go with Harley. Race under pressure is always a safe bet. Rockin stuff as always Bill. And thank YOU for running this annual institution!

I just wanted to confirm that it was Volkoff swinging the chair and therefore has exited the tournament via DQ. Sorry if that was as clear as I hoped.

Race has been jobbing his way out of contention in my MLW fed for several cards so Bullet might pull this one out.

Harley Race (4) v. Bob Armstrong (61)
Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both competitors. Race uses his size to get the early advantage. A series of punches leads to a falling knee drop and then a VERTICAL SUPLEX. Armstrong just barely kicks out (R4/P3). Race attacks with a backbreaker and then goes after the lower body with an Indian Deathlock. Armstrong manages to grab the ropes (R5/P4) to keep the match going. The fans are pulling for “The Bullet” but Race silences the support with a PILEDRIVER to end it (R6/P8).
Despite his lack of success recently in my own legends fed, Race makes this one look easy.
Next one is a very interesting match up . . .
Ivan Kolkoff (29) v. Tully Blanchard (36) w/J.J. Dillon
Thank you for continuing to check out the action.

In the end, Race is just too much. Next match is too close to call. Can't wait to see who pulls it out.

That is a tough one, but I’m going to vote for Blanchard. Having JJ at ringside might be the difference maker.
