Bobo Brazil (3) v. Harley Race (4)
Both men start slow and counter each other move for move. Race manages to connect with a swinging neckbreaker and then sends Brazil into the ropes. Both men go for a clothesline and crash together in mid ring. Race is up first and tosses Brazil to the floor. Race is out after him and Dr. Mike Lano gets caught up in the action. Race shoves the photographer to the floor and the distraction is enough for Brazil to catch him with a series of blows. Bear hug and Race is quickly fading. He punches his way out and rolls to the floor. Brazil follows but Race sends him hard into the ring post shoulder first. Deathjump knee smash connects. Brazil is in trouble and is sent into the ropes. Backdrop is countered with a kick to the teeth. COCO BUTT connects for a one count (R12/P2). Brazil hits a second COCO BUTT (R4/P3) that nearly ends it. The fans are buzzing. Third COCO BUTT but Race gets his shoulder up at two (R8/P4). Brazil goes to the top and the fans are nervous but a deathjump stomp connects. Head scissors slows it down. Race gets back to his feet but Brazil rebounds him into a back elbow. Back to back Bobo body slams do damage but a running lariat misses. Race attempt his own head butts and it is a mistake. Race reverses a whip into the buckles but Brazil blocks his charge with knees to the chest. Race is stunned and Brazil connects with a big hammer punch. Brazil hooks the leg and wins his second legend’s tournament (R4/P5).
