Lots going on this weekend so I am posting early for the next match.
Nick Bockwinkel (22) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan v. Magnum TA (27)
Morgan Dollar allows Heenan to stick around this time but has strict instructions for both men. Bockwinkel neutralizes Allen from the opening bell getting the action to the mat. Back elbow catches Allen on the chin and then a back suplex plants him. Allen bails and Bockwinkel follows. Dr. Mike Lano gets caught up in the action and Allen shoves him into Bockwinkel. Inside, Allen hits a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX for a two count (R9/P5). Atomic drop and running forearm. Bockwinkel bails. Outside, Allen atomic drops Bockwinkel into Heenan! 7, 8, 9 . . . Bockwinkel regains the ring and stumbles into Allen’s running forearm. With Heenan still dazed on the floor, Allen hooks the leg and gets the win (R3/P4).
It is now that time once again promotors to pick you winner. Usually there are eight competitors to choose from but this year there are seven….

Magnum TA
Both Brazil and Hawk are former winners of this event. Brazil and Race were semi-finalist last year. Rogers might have the strongest remaining card mechanic.
I am going with Rogers and Brazil in the finals with the Nature Boy claiming his first tournament championship
Stevens is a possible dark horse pick (if Morgan Dollar will let Heenan actually stay at ringside) just on the basis he has one less chance of elimination.
The quarterfinals get underway on Monday!
