Harley Race (4) v. Buddy Rogers (9)
Buddy Rogers gets into the face of Morgan Dollar before the bell and Dollar is not impressed to say the least. Rogers opens with a kick to the knee off the lock up and then sends Race hard into the buckles. Rogers charges but Race ducks and backdrops Nature Boy to the floor in a heap. Race is out after him and both men are trading blow and are dangerously close to getting disqualified. The fans are anxious but the action heads back inside but a backbreaker from Race sends it back to the floor. Both men again push the envelope which including Rogers going face first into the rails. VERTICAL SUPLEX from Race gets a one count on a bloodied Rogers (R8/P2) and Race follows with a backbreaker that connects and gets another one count (R12/P3). Race is badmouthing Rogers as he traps him and then plants him with a PILEDRIVER. 1, 2, ¾ (R8/P7). Race comes off the top with a elbow smash and then mounts the turnbuckles again for a DIVING HEADBUTT. Dollar drops… 1, 2, 3/shoulder up! (R6/P6). There is moment of confusion before Dollar points to Race as the winner. Rogers is dazed but has enough wits about him to protest the three count but Dollar will hear none of it.
Race advances one level further than he did last year and continues his dominance in the colour era of the game. Who will he face in the finals?

Bobo Brazil (3) v. Ray Stevens (42) w/Bobby “The Brian” Heenan
With the fans solidly behind Brazil, Stevens and Heenan get in the face of Dollar telling them to do something about the fans chanting at “The Brain.” Dollar just gets annoyed and tells Heenan he can always leave if he does not like it. Stevens moves from the lock up to a headlock and choke followed by a double underhook suplex. The fans are all over Heenan as Stevens sends Brazil into the ropes but his backdrop gets countered with a piledriver. Brazil slows it down with bear hug and then connects with a flying dropkick. Bobo body slam leads to a long head scissors. Kick in the corner catches Stevens as does a big hammer punch. Flying dropkicks connect but a running lariat misses and allows Stevens to catch Brazil with a double underhook suplex. Brazil powers back and moves to the head scissors again. Flying dropkick is on target. Stevens attempt at a giant swing goes nowhere and Brazil catches him with a running lariat. Tombstone piledriver sends Stevens to the floor to regroup with Heenan but Brazil comes outside and rams their heads together! The fans love it! Back in the ring, COCO BUTT to Stevens. With Heenan still down at ringside, Brazil hooks the leg just long enough to the finals (R3/P3)
As we head into the finals tomorrow, I just wanted to say thank you once again to everyone who has taken the time to read, click a thumbs up or post a comment over the last few weeks. The comments and predictions have been amazing this year. This year’s tournament has been a lot of fun to roll out. What stands out for me this year is first, the number of clean finishes, and two, the consistency demonstrated in the Harley Race & Bobo Brazil cards. Not only did they both make it to the finals four last year, but they both went one step further this year to reach the finals. Thanks again everyone for checking out the action!

An amazing run of bouts getting to the finals, especially Bobo Brazil vs. Magnum T.A. What a match! As much as I love Harley Race, and both have been world champions in my fed, I have a soft spot for Bobo so I would love to see him go all the way and win the tournament.
