Owner (with a slight smile) - What did you think...of him?...
Commissioner - I hope he doesn't permanently injure anyone...
Owner - That probably...won't happen...
Commissioner - Also...I just finally finished all of the fine print...in that last section...of the contracts that they all...signed...do you really think...that the winner of this tournament...is really going to partner up with The Equalizer in the future?...
Owner - It would be most monetarily...beneficial...for him...if he did...
Commissioner - True...sounds like you are trying to assemble...a stable...
Owner - Also true...which reminds me...(points to the stunning woman in the picture)...she...will be arriving...at the castle soon...couple of nights...from now...
Commissioner (thinks for a second) - The only other available room is...
Owner (interrupting him) - In the spare room...next to your chamber...on the highest floor...please have the staff...spruce it up...and please make sure...that these...cretins...behave themselves...

Commissioner - That he did sire...however once again...Dunkerton won the lockup...and hit his opponent with everything...that he had...starting off with his Knee Lift Urange...but Callihan soon reversed the offense...and gave Dunkerton more...Forearms To Remember...than I could count...
Owner - I admire that Dunkerton is...at least...going down swinging...no doubt Lethal has had...a positive influence on him...
Commissioner - Unmistakably...you know...I kind of think even The Equalizer...was slightly amused...
Owner - He's going to be at ringside...during the rest of the matches...until the end of the tournament...security...you know...

Owner - Actually...before we go on to the next result...what's the story with Danielson...not sure if we...spoke of him...
Commissioner Huh?...oh yes...well...apparently he's donating the lions share...of his winnings to a couple of national wildlife preserves...in his own words...it's all about the hemp...I have also heard that...he is going to be moving to...a house in Colorado...

Commissioner - Sire...very similar to the...Dunkerton & Callihan match...Al Snow commanded the early offense...but once Brodie Lee reversed his offense...it was pretty much over...after Snow opened with a few Overhead Forearms and a Reverse Atomic Drop...Lee soon countered this with...A Chokeslam and A Half Nelson Superplex...Snow kicked out of the first BIG BOOT pin attempt...but the second one did it...the impact even knocked Head...completely out of the ring...
Owner - I don't think Snow is long...for this tournament...so does Snow still think he's...the Original King?...
Commissioner - Yep...he even argued that...a king without his scepter...cannot be pinned...
Owner - His scepter?...you mean Head?...
Commissioner - That's him...
Owner - Nuts...and what of Brodie Lee?...
Commissioner - Still...eerily quiet...sire...but if there's any cause for alarm...I will let you know...

Commissioner - It was...it definitely was...let's see...where to start...well in the beginning of the match...they both kept powering through and reversing each others offense...Hoyt was the first one to score a near fall with his Texas Tower Bomb...then a weird thing started happening sire...
Owner - What?...
Commissioner - Hoyt kept making eye contact with The Equalizer...in between making an example of Pearce...as if Hoyt was putting on a brave...and even antagonizing front...where it comes to The Equalizer...
Owner - Go on...
Commissioner - Well soon...after just outbrawling Pearce outside the ring...Hitting him with The Ring Steps etc...Hoyt dragged Pearce back into the middle of the ring...Hoyt then slowly...and methodically scaled to the top rope and once again...turned to stare mockingly...at The Equalizer...
Owner - Not...a good idea...
Commissioner - No one was more suprised...than Hoyt was...when all of a sudden Pearce reached down and scaled the top rope...but not to Suplex him back into the ring...Pearce shoved Hoyt backwards...off the turnbuckle...and Hoyt landed spine first...through a ringside table...
Owner - I have got to see that moment...any reaction from The Equalizer?...
Commissioner - Judging by seeing his face slightly contorting...through the mask...I think he smiled...then Pearce mounted a comeback...near submission from Hoyt to Pearce's Figure Four Leglock...and near pinfall from Pearce's Hangman's Neckbreaker...but then Hoyt mounted a comeback...with a series of Fn Slams...
Owner - Keep Hoyt under the surveillance...what's up with Pearce?...
Commissioner - Lots of solitary exercise...amd workouts...I hope he can hang on...

Commissioner - Spot on...Homicide won the lockup and took the early advantage with power moves...Exploder Suplexes...and Piledrivers mostly...then after Sabu had collided with his own arabian garb...in the corner of the ring...
Homicide saw a picture...of Sabu and Homicides wife...she in front of him...he holding her from behind...and both in arabian garb...

Commissioner - I'm afraid so sire...

Brodie Lee becomes the first wrestler in A Billion Reasons to go 2 and 0. He is becoming a sentimental favorite for me to win, but there's still a lot more wrestling ahead of us. Truly thank you for being on this island with us! LOL. |

If I can pull this off right, its going to be a tournament inside a chess match between a number of major players here. In upcoming Chapter 7, we will see just who the woman in the picture is as well as the identity of The Equalizer. Also, I am introducing more of the high level background involved with this tournament and its circumstances. I hope we all enjoy. I like your picks as possible wrestlers to win. I have to admit I hope RVD takes it. But we'll see. Really look forward to your thoughts on this man. Thanks again!! I have about half of Chapter 7 done, would love to be able to post this tonight - but more than likely will be tomorrow at some point. |

Commissioner - More or less...for the first...three quarters of the match...or so...Konnan looked absolutely atrocious...Fox completely out maneuvered and completely out wrestled him...lots of high risk...and high impact moves...including A Suicide Senton that put both of them through the announcers table...but Konnan somehow managed to hold on...through it...
Owner - What swayed the balance...in Konnan's favor?...
Commissioner - When Konnan started trapping him...and greatly slowing him down...via his Armbar...not strong enough to force him to submit...but just enough to wing him...from there...three straight Bodyslams...the last of which was...absolutely brutal...from there...he wasted no time...and hit his finisher...
Owner - Fox is in trouble...
Commissioner - Yes...sire...Fox is in trouble...as with Sugar Dunkerton and Adam Pearce...

Owner - Sounded like a solid match...time wise...at least...
Commissioner - It was an interesting match from...the perspective of...a truly dynamic offense from Cole...collided against a wrestler who was able to take...a hellacious beating...but still kicked out...and got up...each and everytime...with a black eye and a broken nose...Castagnoli looked like he was in a car accident...by the end of the match...
Owner - Was Cole...ever in any trouble...in the match though?...
Commissioner - Only for about...twenty seconds or so...Castagnoli made a late...but brief comback...courtesy of one of his...Gut Wrench German Suplexes...that noticeably...rocked Cole...but Cole still kicked out...at about a 2 count sire...Cole's offense...and Castagnoli's defense...were something else...great endurance on both sides...but in different ways...

Owner - How...precisely?...
Commissioner - For a while...Quackenbush looked like he was going to take it...he kept Black completely off balance...and always reversed any offense...or what little offense Black could muster so...Black retreated outside of the ring...and often...
Owner - Did Quackenbush...pursue him...outside the ring?...
Commissioner (takes a hearty swig of the whiskey) - No...and in my opinion...that is where...and how Quackenbush lost the match...for some reason...Quackenbush was determined to stay...within the confines of the ring...played it conservatively...and eventually Black figured him out...and after a quick reversal...went to work on Quackenbush with three...straight...Paroxysms...
Owner - That...must have taken the fight...out of Quackenbush...in a hurry...
Commissioner - Exactly sire...and...Black was smart enough...to avoid any high risk moves...he was just like...a cobra...just waiting for the right opening...
Owner - Tell me...I'm just curious...do you think that...if Tyler Black wins this tournament...do you really think...he's gonna...split the billion with Elgin?...
Commissioner (finishes another sip) - Oh hell no...however...from what I've seen...I think Elgin would split it...with Black...
Owner - Elgin would let...morals...get in the way huh...
Commissioner - I think he would...and I think he'll crack...Black in half...if Black tries to screw him...

Owner - Depended upon...which Johnny Gargano...showed up...Johnny Wrestling...or Johnny Poetry...from his first match...
Commissioner - Very true...he was all...Johnny Wrestling with this one...including landing a Steel Chair Shot and Spearing Kingston over the ring barrier...but for the most part...he just tied him up...and wore him down with a variety...of painful holds...although Kingston survived two attempts of Gargano's...GARGANO ESCAPE...in the end...Kingston just couldn't contend with him...tonight...
Owner - Does Gargano still insist on...writing all that...poetry?...
Commissioner - Yes...he actually does...but...I've heard that...it's really quite horrible...the maids are polite...and hear him out...but most just...can't stand it...
