The golden rule, well the more modern one anyways, says "He who has the gold makes the rules". That is so true most of the times. Especially if your name is Magnus Colby. Be it the one from out universe and time stream or another. Like the one who ended up here a few years ago as part of Future Shock.
We all assumed he and the members who were not allowed to stay here went back to whence they came. That was not the case. It seems he used some of his vast wealth to take him and his men into hiding. All while greasing the wheels he needed to grease to get a reversal on the decision to send them back.
Once that was taken care of he put into motion to not rejoin the GWF but start his own wrestling promotion. He, and some mysterious silent partners, have done just that. Thus the birth of the Colby's Legendary Association of Wrestling (CLAW). Colby, via a press release, said more information will be forthcoming as we get closer to the debut card which will take place in the beginning of next year, 4GE. That first card is named Ring in the New.
Speculation and rumors are rampant. It is believed not only will Colby be the President and CEO but he will be a manager as well. Needless to say that could lead to conflicts of interest. Also going around is he was behind the departure of Ultimate Chaos and The Butcher. Not that he has signed them to CLAW but rather since they were made using DNA from a couple of his men he did not want them out running about. Whether he gave them money to go into retirement or had them eliminated is up to discussion.
Needless to say things are about to get interesting. How will fans react to competition for the GWF? How will Eydilon react? More so how will Godsend? Will Colby try and sign some top GWF talent away? If he does what will Godsend's reaction be? Buckle up wrestling fans. It's going to be a wild ride.
