Card #85 - New Globe Theater
Doomsayer and Revolver are going over strategy in their locker room for their tag match later in the night when Alpha Female walks in.
Alpha Female: What am I hearing about you sending Evolution off to some crazy Aethra crazies colony for some wanna be Cleansing?
Doomsayer: First off they are not crazy but simply did not fit in Aethra's strict society conformity. Second the Cleansing ritual they do is the real deal.
Alpha Female: How did you even know about this place? I've never even heard about it.
Doomsayer: A friend of mine heard about it. Ron Mozeba. He has been studying different fringe cultures over the years. He spent some time with them and told me about them.
Alpha Female: Oh. So he's like what, a professor or something? Dis you know him from school or a lecture or what?
Doomsayer: Um...not exactly. I became acquainted with him from the time we spent together as cellmates.
Alpha Female: What?! So he's some criminal? What did he do?
Doomsayer: Do? He didn't do anything. He was in on some bogus trumped up charges. They claimed he tried organized an uprising on some backwater planet an in attempt to overthrow the ruling party. It was ridiculous. Someone covering their own misdeeds by trying to frame him. He ended up being released and charges dropped.
Alpha Female: Great. Wonderful. My man was sent to loonies off the word of a jailbird. If anything happens to him it's your head.
She storms off leaving Doomsayer and Revolver staring at each other.
Oppressor w/Murdok vs Zealos.
The Church of Truth member was not intimidated by the size of his opponent. He took the fight to him from the opening bell. In fact he was doing good until he tried to pick Oppressor up for a body slam. Instead Oppressor lifted Zealos and slammed him down. From there the giant played with Zealos. He made numerous covers but lifted Zealos before the three count. Finally he hit a nasty spinebuster and covered for the win.
Winner: Oppressor via pinfall.
After Murdok grabs a mic.
Murdok: Zealos why do you follow that false prophet? He does not even have the courage to be in your corner tonight. Why? Because he knows I am the way and was afraid I'd expose him as a charlatan. You should take time to reevaluate your life and the decisions you have made. There will be a place for you with The Order when you are ready.
Sly Drury walks with purpose into Magnus Colby's office.
Magnus: What do you want?
Sly Drury: First off you need to improve your security around here. That pathetic loser Epoch attacks me out of the blue for no reason. Second and most important I want a title shot. I beat Mister Centra during his first reign but do to him being DQ'd I didn't get the belt. If it had been for the US belt I would have been awarded the belt. Then since then no shot. Yet Endgame gets a shot simply due to making your men look bad. That's bull<bleep>.
Magnus: Epoch didn't attack you for no reason. You know what you did to him and he still wants revenge. As for your title shot we have been down this road before. So go back to your suite, have a drink or three and relax. I will see about getting you into the title picture soon.
Iron Clad w/Skull vs Doomsayer and Revolver.
Revolver caught Ultra Clarion sleeping as the match started and jumped all over him. He was rolling with the offense. After a failed pin attempt he tagged Doomsayer in. The Galactic Rebel's leader kept things going for his team. He hit Brain Games but only got a two count. He hit it again right away but Destructon 4300 broke up the pin. Doomsayer tagged Revolver back in and he quickly put Clarion in the Figure Four Leglock. Doomsayer made sure no save was coming and Clarion tapped out. Skull was not happy.
Winner: Doomsayer and Revolver by submission.
Nora Pelf and Prince of the Rose are having a nice steak dinner with red wine in a high end restaurant. She is telling Rose about how she took Mr. I to the United Stars championship and can do even more for him.
Chaos Supreme vs Vacant.
Vacant dove at Chaos at the start of the match and Chaos nonchalantly caught him. He then spent next couple minutes brutalizing Vacant before forcing him to submit to Bow of Defeat.
Winner: Chaos Supreme via submission.
Doomsayer and Revolver are celebrating their victory with some cold ones in their locker room when Evolution walks in. He looks bigger and stronger. He is now sporting some Gladiator face paint.
Revolver: Well look who's back. It seems the Cleansing was a success.
Evolution: I want a match with Minister of War. Make it happen.
Juventud Guerrera vs Rey Horus vs Flamita vs Daga in a Four Corners Elimination match.
Daga, making his CLAW in ring debut, and Flamita kick off the match. Daga hits a gut wrench power bomb right off the start to stun Flamita. He hits some more power offense before Flamita can counter attack. He hits a frog splash then tags Rey Horus in.
Rey enters the ring by hitting Daga with a 450 splash that pops the crowd. He hits more offense and makes a pin attempt. Rey tags Flamita back in. The men battle and hit some great high flying offense as momentum goes back and forth. Finally Flamita gets something going. He makes a couple pin attempts without success. He then tags Juventud Guerrera in.
Juventud hits some offense but Daga weathers the storm and then he fights back. After one unsuccessful pin attempt Daga hits his finisher El Maverick but only gets a two count. A bit more offense then Daga tags Rey in. Rey gets in some moves then Juventud gets in some. Juventud hits his 450 Splash finisher but Rey kicks out. A couple more moves then Juventud tags out to Flamita. Both men double team Rey a little bit.
Flamita hits a Fly Fame and makes the cover. A three count and Rey Horus is eliminated. Daga quickly enters and attacks Flamita. The next couple minutes has both men going back and forth. Daga tosses Flamita into the corner. Flamita simply runs up the ropes and hits a moonsault. He follows up with a 450 Splash finisher but only gets a two count. Feeling he has Daga in trouble he goes up again and performs a frog splash. A cover and a pin. Flamita eliminates Dage for his second elimination.
Flamita attacks Juventud as soon as he enters the ring. We are down to our last two so after next fall we will have our winner. Juventud battles back and gets Flamita in a lifting surfboard. Some more offense and a springboard dropkick leads to a two count. He goes up to top rope and nails a 450 splash finisher. Flamita kicks out once again. Juventud lifts him up and hits a Juvi Driver. He hooks one leg and counts with his free hand along with the fans but Flamita kicks out at last moment. A "that was three" chant breaks out. Juventud looks around shocked. He goes and does another Juvi Driver and hooks both legs. The ref counts three and the fans cheer. Juvi eliminates Flamita to win the match.
Winner: Juventud Guerrera by making last elimination by pinfall.
