Thanks for reading TTX. I was amazed that Johnny beat Styles as quickly as he did.
I was also a little bummed at Brody's injury, but I think it adds a top contender as soon as he's healthy.

When he crawled back through the ropes, Nese hit his REVERSE PILEDRIVER. Thesz kicked out, and Nese tried for the 450 SPLASH but Thesz moved and Nese crashed face first into the mat. Thesz took control and shortly hit the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP for the win.
Tyler Black vs Hanson Black got his revenge for the loss last week. He took everything Hanson had to offer and still managed to beat him with the CURB STOMP.

After the shockingly quick loss last week, AJ Styles asked for a rematch with Johnny Gargano, which was granted. AJ Styles vs Johnny Gargano This is a much longer match with the same result. Johnny has to hit the GARGANO ESCAPE three times to get the win, but he pulls off two wins in a row against AJ Styles.

Gordy laid in punishment on Brazil until the match spilled out of the ring and Terry was momentarily blinded when a fan threw a soda in his face. Brazil took full advantage and clotheslined Gordy to the floor. They rolled back into the ring and Brazil pressed his advantage. Gordy finally regained control with a samoan drop. He misses with a big dropkick and Hallowicked hits him with a second-rope springboard. He drops Bobo with the GRAVEYARD SMASH and goes for the pin, but Bobo kicks out. Billy "Red" Lyons starts of the match with a forearm smash to Animal's face. Animal simply stares at him and then throws him into the turnbuckle. They load Robin on a backboard with a neck brace and take her to a waiting ambulance in front of a completely stunned crowd.
*Update* Robin suffered severe back injuries. She will miss up to 5 months. The NWA board of directors has ruled that Jazz will not be rewarded by taking her place in the tournament, therefore Penny Banner, Robin's second round opponent, will receive a bye into the finals.
