Card #30
Buddy Rogers dominated Roddy Piper in this second round matchup. He made Piper submit to the Figure-Four Grapevine in 5:06
Tommy Rich had to hit the THESZ PRESS and the SLEEPER twice each, but he beat Randy Savage with the SLEEPER in 3:24. Savage injured his neck in this match. He could miss about a month of action.
Rob Van Dam is an amazing wrestler, but Freddie Blassie grounded him early and hit the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER twice to get the pin in 5:46
In what has to be the upset of the night, The American Wolves, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards beat former United States Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase and Barry Windham even with Bobby Heenan in their corner when Eddie Edwards hit DIE HARD at 7:13
Frank Gotch jumped Ed 'Strangler' Lewis before the bell, but Lewis managed to lock in the STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK and hold it until he could get the win. After the match, Gotch was so infuriated that he attacked Lewis and rammed his head into the time keepers bell over and over until blood was gushing from his head.
Lewis was injured pretty severely and it looks like he's out of the tournament. A bye will have to be granted to his opponent. The championship committee has suspended Gotch for two weeks for his conduct.
Nick Bockwinkel had Bobby Heenan at his side as he faced Johnny Valentine. Bockwinkel fared much better against JV than many may have expected. He locked JV in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and held on for dear life. Finally, Valentine was so exhausted from the pain he didn't have the strength to lift his shoulders and lost by pinfall in 10:54
The Road Warriors finally looked human as they lost to the Rock n Roll Express when Robert Gibson trapped Hawk in the GIBSON LEGLOCK after 15 minutes of action.
Terry Gordy stunned everyone in the building when he pinned Mil Mascaras in 3:56 with a POWERBOMB. The win wasn't too surprising, but winning so quickly was a complete shock.
Johnny Gargano defeated Kevin Steen in under 5 minutes with the GARGANO ESCAPE
Former LAW World Tag Champions, The MIdnight Express decimated Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson in 3:30 when they hit the DARK SIDE on Arn.

Here is the lineup for the final night of the world title tournaments. Due to the fact that Ed "Strangler" Lewis was injured last week Nick Bockwinkel will receive a bye into the semi-finals, where he'll face the winner of the Terry Gordy/Johnny Gargano match. We found two youngsters to open the card, since that match won't take place.
Chris Dickinson vs Jake Manning The Flying Redheads vs Rock n Roll Express Jimmy Snuka vs Buddy Rogers Tommy Rich vs Fred Blassie Midnight Express vs American Wolves Terry Gordy vs Johnny Gargano Singles Tourney Semi-Final Singles Tourney Semi-Final World Tag Tourney Final World Title Tourney Final

Card #31
Chris Dickinson dominated Jake Manning and won with the PAZUZU BOMB in 3:56
The Rock n Roll Express made short work of The Flying Redheads. Ricky Morton pinned Red Bastien with a FLYING CROSS BODY BLOCK in 4:10
"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers shocked Jimmy Snuka by locking in the Figure Four Grapevine early in the match and getting the win in 3:56. Rogers didn't even need Jim Cornette, who was at ringside.
Tommy Rich dominated Freddie Blassie. He hit the THESZ PRESS for the win in 3:22
Bobby Eaton pinned Eddie Edwards with the Alabama Jam in 5:36 to give The Midnight Express the win over the American Wolves. The world tag team tournament final will be the Rock and Roll Express vs the Midnight Express.
Johnny Gargano's strong run in this tournament ends when he runs into the solid wall named Terry Gordy. "Bamm Bamm" wins in 4:12 with the POWER BOMB.
Jim Cornette wasn't much help here, as Tommy Rich won a tough match with Buddy Rogers with the SLEEPER in 14:56
Terry Gordy was hyper aggressive in this semi-final match against Nick Bockwinkel. In fact he was so aggresive that he was disqualified at the 3-minute mark for power bombing Nick Bockwinkel through a table. The World Title Final will be between Nick Bockwinkel and Tommy Rich.
World Tag Team Title Tournament Final:
The Midnight Express and the Rock and Roll Express are old rivals and it showed in this match. All four men seemed to know what everyone else was going to do, so it made it difficult for either team to gain the advantage. The Midnight Express, with a distraction from Jim Cornette, of course, finally got the win with the DARK SIDE over Ricky Morton.
The MIDNIGHT EXPRESS ARE THE NEW NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!
In a shocking development, Tommy Rich defeated Nick Bockwinkel with the SLEEPER in under 5 minutes!! TOMMY RICH IS THE NEW NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!

#32 Mid-South Wrestling- Four States Arena, Texarkana, AK.
Brian Blair beat Sam Houston in a short, but hard fought match in 2:42 with a SLEEPER
Lou Thesz got tired of Larry Zbyszko's stalling antics so he grabbed him and lifted him up in an airplane spin just as the match got underway. Lou won at the 11:26 mark with the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP.
Keith Lee and AJ Styles made a successful debut as a team, defeating the formidable duo of Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik in 15:55 when Lee hit the SPIRITBOMB on the Iron Sheik. After the match, Sheik and Volkoff attack their opponents with steel chairs. They leave Styles and Lee both lying in the middle of the ring and drape the Iranian and Russian flags over their prone bodies.
The next match is a non-title affair. As Mildred Burke is on her way to the ring, her opponent, Krissy Vaine comes out of nowhere and rips the title belt out of her hand. She beats Burke with the title belt and leaves her lying in a puddle of her own blood. Vaine drops the belt across Burke's back as she walks back to the dressing room.
After this brutal attack, The NWA has suspended Krissy Vaine for 3 weeks.
Sabu decimated Justin Credible. Justin never got in a speck of offense before Sabu locked in the CAMEL CLUTCH for the submission win in 2:06. After the match, to add insult to injury, Sabu grabs the singapore cane that Credible brings to the ring and whacks him in the back with it several times before tossing it to the floor and leaving.
Mid-South TV Title Match- Jon Moxley vs Randy Rose This was a brutal encounter between two ruthless individuals. Moxley withstood an amazing amount of punishment (5 tokens) before Rose got the pin with a clothesline.
RANDY ROSE IS THE NEW MID-SOUTH TV CHAMPION!
North American Tag Team Title Match: Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson vs The Heroes of Wrestling Tully and Arn took everything the Heroes could throw at them, but they
TULLY BLANCHARD AND ARN ANDERSON ARE THE NEW MID-SOUTH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
North American Title Match- Bruiser Brody vs Bryan Danielson This match is best two out of three falls by order of promoter Bill Watts. This is a very tough match between two of the very best in the world. Brody wins in two straight falls. He wins the first with the JUMPING KNEE DROP and the second with the one-armed scoop slam.
BRUISER BRODY IS THE NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION!

#33 Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles California
Nikolai Volkoff w/The Iron Sheik vs Chuck Taylor - After draping their flags over the prone AJ Styles and Keith Lee last week, it's no surprise that Volkoff is hearing the boos tonight. - Volkoff dismantles Taylor in 2:49 with a double thrust. - As Volkoff sings the Russian national anthem, Iron Sheik puts the boots to Taylor and lays the Russian flag over him.
PJ Black and Stan Lane vs Kenny Omega and Bobby Shane - Neither team tags in this match, it begins and ends with Stan Lane vs Kenny Omega - Omega wins easily with ONE WINGED ANGEL in 2:20
Daizee Haze vs Judy Martin - Daizee is definitely the fan favorite for this one, as the crowd boos Judy Martin as soon as she steps into the arenal. - This is a tough back-and-forth match that Judy wins in 8:30 with a POWER BOMB (+2)
Bill Carr vs Chris Candido - Candido draws mild boos from the crowd - In the biggest upset of the night so far, Bill Car defeats Chris Candido in 1:05 with the CAR-NADIAN DESTROYER. - Candido is livid and looks like he might do serious damage to Carr, but Carr proves that discretion is the better part of valor by getting the hell out of the ring.
The Love Brothers vs The Armstrongs -Hartford Love was unable to make it to the arena tonight. He has been replaced by The Whisper - Bob Armstrong completely obliterates The Whisper. Neither man makes a tag. - Bob hits the GEORGIA JAWJACKER (+1) in 4:37 - As we go to commercial, Reginald Love is berating The Whisper who appears to be arguing that he had no time to prepare.
As we come back from the commercial break, The Whisper is lying in the ring with several people trying to help him to his feet. Reginald Love is being escorted to back while yelling something about being surrounded by idiots and if his brother had been here, the match would have turned out differently. The crowd is loudly booing Reginald.
Angel Orsini vs Joyce Grable
-This was a pretty even contest with both ladies getting 2 near falls apiece. - Grable finally lost to Orsini when she hit KISS OF DEATH (+1) at 4:05
Between matches, Reginald comes to ringside and demands that The Armstrongs give him and his brother a match next week. Promoter Roy Shire agrees and makes the match.
Americas Tag Team Title Match: The Hamilton Wrecking Crew vs The Fantastics - Given John and Chris Tolos' history in California it's not surprise that their presense causes a near riot in the arena. - The Fantastics use their speed and teamwork to keep John Tolos in their corner and away from his brother. They beat him with the ROCKET LAUNCHER (+2) In 4:20.
THE FANTASTICS ARE THE NEW AMERICAS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!
Our next match will crown the new "Beat the Champ" TV title. Here's how it works. The champion will defend the belt each week against a completely random opponent. This opponent can be from anywhere in the world, not just California. The champion will receive a $1000 bonus everytime he defends the belt. If he defends it 5 consecutive times, the title is vacated and two new competitors will face off for the title.
"Beat the Champ" TV Title Match: Acid Jaz vs The Grappler - The Grappler wins in 4:33 when he loads his boot with a foreign object and kicks Jaz in the head (LOADED BOOT +2).
THE GRAPPLER IS THE NEW "BEAT THE CHAMP" TV CHAMPION!!
Americas Title Match: Mil Mascaras vs Terry Gordy - Mascaras is obviously very well loved here in L.A. The crowd is losing it's mind as he makes his way to the ring. - Gordy comes to the ring making fun of the local fans and how much they love their hero. Mascaras is incensed and jumps "Bam Bam" before the bell rings. Gordy tries to fight him off, but the "Man of 1000 Masks" will not be denied. He gets 4 near falls on Gordy before he finally pins him with the Octupus Hold in 3:35.
MIL MASCARAS IS THE NEW AMERICAS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!

Thanks cruefan68. I'm really enjoying doing it this way. Although it gets challenging keeping everything straight at times, it's a ton of fun and I hope people enjoy it.
