It's time to get back into things here, so... here goes nothin'!
Welcome to the Continental Wrestling Federation (C.W.F.)... soon to be the home for some hopefully-not-mediocre wrestling!
The CWF is based in the continental United States and will mostly tour up and down the East Coast, from Florida in the South all the way up to Maine up North, and will air its weekly televised broadcasts on Friday nights. Hopefully, they got a good time slot on a decent network, am I right? During the week, there will be a house show or two that may (or may not) be reported on here.
The CWF recognizes a handful of championship titles. These are:
The CWF World Champion currently held by: Harley Race The CWF World Tag Team Champions currently held by: The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) The CWF Television Champion currently held by: Tully Blanchard The CWF East Coast Champion currently held by: AJ Styles The CWF World Women's Champion currently held by: Deonna Purrazzo
Champions can lose the belts in the usual ways... the belt won't change hands on a count-out, disqualification, or ref stoppage unless that's stipulated before the match by The Commissioner (or Promoter). Titles can, however, be stripped from a champion if the said champion isn't able to defend his (or her) title in 30 days.
All of the champions were determined by 8-man(or -woman) single-elimination tournaments. The other wrestlers in those tournament finals are the current Top Contenders. They are as follows:
World Champion Top Contender: King Kong Bundy Tag Team Champions Top Contenders: The Miracle Violence Connection Television Champion Top Contender: Blackjack Mulligan East Coast Champion Top Contender: Rhino Women's Champion Top Contender: Madison Rayne
The Federation's first card will be coming soon!

Continental Wrestling Federation presents Coming Attractions/ Promo Corner!
***
We open with a shot of The Midnight Express, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey, in front of the C.W.F. logo alongside their manager James E. Cornette.
Cornette looks right into the camera.
"Well, some folks are saying that the Midnight Express... the best damn tag team in the world... didn't stand a chance in the tag title tournament. They said that were too small, in there with the likes of The Legion of Doofus Road Warriors and the Miracle Whip Connection and Hansen and Brody but we showed them, didn't we, boys? We beat Hanson and Brody! Nobody gave us a snowball's chance in the Sahara but we did beat them! And we'd have beaten Hawk and Animal if it were us that faced them, too, but Gordy and Williams had the ref in their back pockets and got us disqualified! Do they say we're too small? Well, I say that they need to be thrown screaming out of a helicopter over shark-infested waters! The Midnight Express... I remind you: the best damn tag team in all of creation... not only can get those beautiful gold belts off of the Road Warriors... we will! That's a promise!"
***
We open on Madison Rayne standing in front of the C.W.F. logo, flanked by her bodyguard "The Gatekeeper" Kelly Klein. Klein scowls menacingly as Rayne preens for the camera.
"Really? Deonna Purrazzo is the champion? Ugh. I did my best for all of you. I really did. I mean, seriously, who wants her to be their champion? She's so... so... if she was a spice she'd be flour! Luckily for you people out there, I'll be taking that belt off of her soon enough! In fact, it'll be on the debut of our TV show. I know, I know. You finally have something to look forward to."
Rayne smiles her prettiest smile to the camera as Klein continues to scowl.

Continental Wrestling Federation: Show #1- Friday, 1 January 2016-
The show opens with an exterior shot of CWF Arena followed by a jump to the fans in attendance before finally taking us backstage to find "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase in the middle of what appears to be a serious conversation with Tully Blanchard. The men are flanked by Virgil and J.J. Dillon respectively. Both men notice the cameraman and scowl.
DiBiase: "This is a private conversation. You might want to think twice about sticking your nose in other peoples' business."
Blanchard: "Let me put it more simply, idiot. Get lost, loser!"
The cameraman cuts the feed and we join our announce team at their position near the ring. It is "Mad" Mike Cantrell and his partner Frankie Saddler... back together at long last.
Cantrell: "Hello everyone and welcome to the debut episode of CWF TV... what we are going to be calling Friday Night Fights. I think it's an appropriate name, don't you think, Frankie?"
Saddler: "You know it, Mike! It's been a long time! I hope I can remember how to do this!"
Cantrell: "You'll be fine, partner. I hear it's like falling off a bike. Let's go down to the ring and get the show started, shall we?"
Saddler: "Let's do it!"
We're down in the ring, now, and the lovely Miss Cindy Shepherd announces...
*"Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne vs. "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay*
The Sodbuster starts aggressively and jumps Dunne, locking on a headlock. He tries to transition into a body slam but Dunne blocks the move and retaliates by tossing him into the ropes. As Jay comes rebounding off the ropes, both men go for a clothesline and they both end up crashing to the mat! Dunne pulls himself to his feet before Jay can manage to and moves in for the kill with an X-Plex! Jay is hurt and Dunne continues his attack with a double stomp but the Sodbuster manages to dodge it and retaliate with a stomp of his own but Dunne is too quick for him and hits the man with a step-up enzuigiri! Jay hits the canvas like a ton of bricks and Dunne capitalized with a BITTER END and this match is over!
Winner of the match: "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne!
Cantrell: "Well... I'll be honest here, Frankie... that match went way longer than I thought it was going to!"
Saddler: "Me, too! Who knew the Ol' Sodbuster had it in him? Certainly not me!"
Cantrell: "I'm pretty sure Pete was more than a little surprised, too! You know, partner, Dunne has said that has big plans here in the CWF. Namely, he said he's looking to start off by taking the East Coast Championship away from A.J. Styles. That might be easier said than done. Let's go back to ringside for the next match."
Once again, Miss Cindy is in the ring to introduce...
*The Mounties (Jacques Rougeau & Pierre Carl Oullett; w/ "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) vs. The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton)*
Oullett starts the match with a shoulder block on Bobby Fulton and immediately follows that up with a Double Goozle with a little help from Rougeau. Fulton is down and Pierre capitalizes with a lateral press! Rogers jumps into the ring just in time to save his partner and the match looks to continue with Rougeau in the ring, and the Mounties continue the double teaming with a Boston Crab and leg drop combination. Fulton is in bad shape. Jacques and Pierre hit the TOWER OF QUEBEC. Rougeau goes for a lateral press and Rogers once again tries to get into the ring to make the save, but he's cut off by Oullett and the ref counts to three. This match is over!
Winners of the Match: The Mounties!
After the match, Jimmy Hart heads over to the announce team to have some words...
Hart: "Did you see that, baby? The Mounties are the next big thing here in the CWF! Make no mistake! Those tag titles as good as ours, baby!"
Hart and his men leave the ringside area, their laughter following them all the way back to the dressing rooms.
Cantrell: "Well... Jimmy Hart seems pretty sure of himself and his team, don't they?"
Saddler: "To be fair, Mike? That was a very impressive win right there. The Fantastics aren't pushovers but Rougeau and Oullett made really short work of them!"
Cantrell: "Sure, but...."
Saddler: "Really short work, Mike. That kind of dominance can easily see them going all the way to the top!"
Cantrell: "I suppose so. Let's go back to the action!"
Yet again, we're in the ring with Miss Cindy so that she can introduce...
*"The Franchise" Shane Douglas (w/ "Head Cheerleader" Francine) vs. "Man Scout" Jake Manning*
Manning jumps in as soon as the bell rings and hits Douglas with some elbow smashes and tosses him into the turnbuckles. Manning runs in after him but Shane gets a knee up to catch Manning in the face, sending him staggering backward. A pair of gourdbusters follows and Manning is in trouble! Douglas waits like a predatory cat for him to stagger to his feet and right into a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. A lateral press, a three-count and this one ends almost as soon as it begins!
Winner of the Match: Shane Douglas!
Cantrell: "The trend of short matches continues, partner. But... did anybody really think Manning stood a chance against a man like The Franchise?"
Saddler: "This is wrestling, Mike. Anything can happen. It's part of what makes wrestling so great! I love my job!"
Cantrell: "I feel you, buddy. Hey. Let's go to our backstage correspondent Amy Lee. What do you think?"
Saddler: "Let's do it!"
We are next taken to the backstage area where the beautiful Amy Lee is waiting.
Lee: "Hey, guys! Isn't it great to be back? So, I'm about to be joined by my guest...."
Amy is joined by Madison Rayne and her "bodyguard" Kelly Klein. Neither looks too happy.
Lee: "Hey, ladies. So, the big questions from everyone right now are: how are you going to defeat CWF World Women's champion Deonna Purrazzo tonight? Do you have a game plan? Do you really think you can beat her?"
Rayne (looking disgusted): "Oh, please. You know, just for asking those idiotic questions I should have Kelly toss you around a little bit. We might teach you some respect! The thing is: I am the best woman in this entire company! So, yes. I do think I can beat her. Yes. I do have a game plan. No. You can't hear it. You'll just have to sit back here and watch as I take that title... that Deonna certainly doesn't deserve... away from her. All you, or anybody else, need to know is that I am the next CWF World Women's champion!"
Amy is about to speak when the ladies are joined by "The Prodigy" Tessa Blanchard. Tessa is smirking behind her mirrorshades.
Rayne: "What are you doing here, loser? Did you come to get a front-row seat to watch me beat boring old Deonna? If so... you're a little early."
Madison laughs but it's short-lived as Tessa snatches the mic away from her.
Blanchard: "No, idiot. I'm here to stake my claim to that title, as well! So you and your big... thug... can go out there later and soften Purrazzo up for me all you want but in the end? It'll be me that takes that title away from her. Bitch."
Rayne and Tessa look ready to go after each other but Klein steps in and between them. Tessa doesn't back down.
Rayne: "Fine. You're looking for a fight, Blanchard? Once I'm done with Deonna I think you and I should have a match! What do you say... daddy's girl... right here next week?"
Tessa smiles an evil smile.
Blanchard: "That's fine. But you won't be the only one with someone in her corner!"
Tessa, Madison, and Kelly all turn and leave.
Lee: "Not the only one... I wonder what that means. Back to you guys up front!"
We're back at ringside once again, waiting for Miss Cindy to introduce...
*Stan "The Lariat" Hansen & Bruiser Brody vs. Too Cool (Scott Taylor & Brian Christopher)*
The match starts with Hansen hammering Christopher in the back and dropping him like a bad habit. He follows that up with a knee drop (minus the knee pad) and Grandmaster Sexay tries to scurry to his corner to tag in Taylor but Hansen cuts him off and pulls him back into the middle of the ring and hits him with a big elbow drop before tagging in Brody. Bruiser Brody with a piledriver on Christopher and he follows up with a lateral press... but Christopher KICKS OUT! Brody and Hansen (and everyone else in the building) are amazed until Brody hits a running leg drop and goes for another cover. Once again, Brian Christopher KICKS OUT AT TWO! Brody, getting flustered, tags his partner back in and the big man from Borger, Texas comes in with a powerbomb and a cover. In a shocking development, Christopher ONCE AGAIN KICKS OUT! Hansen and Brody are incensed by the temerity of this youngster for refusing to just lay down and die, so Brody comes back in with another running leg drop. He goes for a cover yet again and this time it looks like it's enough Scott Taylor jumps in and breaks the referee's count! Hansen is tagged back in and immediately hits THE LARIAT and looks to end it once and for all. This time Taylor mercifully lets his partner get pinned, ending the match and the beating that Grandmaster Sexay was taking.
Winners of the match: Hansen & Brody!
Cantrell: "I... don't know what to think, Frankie. Either Brian Christopher is one of the toughest men alive... or one of the dumbest. Hansen and Brody dominated that match but Grandmaster Sexay refused to die. Again... maybe Taylor was the dumb one for breaking up that pin? I mean, he could have just let them pin his partner and save his so-called friend a bit of punishment. Right?"
Saddler: "I have no words, Mike."
Cantrell: "Either way... wow. Well, I've been informed that we're ready for the first title match of the night. Let's go to ringside."
Miss Cindy goes all out when she introduces...
*Madison Rayne (w/ Kelly Klein) vs. DEonna Purrazzo (CWF Women's Champion)*
The ladies lock up and the champion transitions into an arm lock. She looks to follow that up with an elbow smash but Madison counters and a little bit of a tussle ends with Rayne hitting a boot to the head on the champion. Purrazzo goes down hard and Rayne capitalizes by quickly going for a cover. The champion kicks out just before the count of three. A diving spear from Madison sends Deonna tumbling out of the ring, looking for a breather. After a moment of rest, Purrazzo reaches into the ring and drags Rayne out of the ring and smashes her face-first into the ring post! Madison is staggered as Deonna rolls her back into the ring and immediately goes for the FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Kelly Klein hits the ring before Rayne can tap out but Deonna is waiting for her and the two ladies throw down for a bit before Klein gets dumped out of the ring! The champion once again locks on the FUJIWARA ARMBAR and this time, Madison ends up tapping out before her arm is broken! This one is over!
Winner of the match (and still CWF Women's Champion): Deonna Purrazzo!
Cantrell: "Well, Frankie... I was expecting a little more from Madison Rayne. She sure talked a big game but in the end, came up short."
Saddler: "Real short. Damn. How about Deonna Purrazzo, Mike? No one thought she had a chance in the title tournament but here she is... the champion. And she's killing it! Way to go, girl!"
Cantrell: "You are so right, partner! Are you ready for the main event of the night? It's up... right now!"
For the last time tonight, we get to hear Miss Cindy do her thing and introduce...
*Rhino vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles (CWF East Coast Champion)*
AS Styles is coming to the ring, Rhino decides to get things started early and jumps out to meet him halfway and catch AJ by the neck and ram him head-first into the ring post! Styles is hurt as Rhino rolls him back into the ring and hits the GORE! He goes for a cover but is shocked when the bleeding Styles manages to kick out (just barely)! Rhino steps back and waits for the champion to get back to his feet before hitting the GORE again! Another cover and another kick out! Rhino... quite beside himself... hits Styles with a release powerbomb, a side belly-to-belly suplex, and a fireman's carry cutter but AJ doesn't seem ready to die just yet. Styles seems to have some life still in him as he hits Rhino with a leg sweep and a spin kick that puts the big man down. Before you know it, the champion hits his STYLES CLASH and goes for a cover... and gets the three count to end the match!
Winner of the match (and still CWF East Coast Champion): AJ Styles!
Cantrell: "Well, if that wasn't one of the greatest comebacks in the history of pro wrestling... I don't know what is, Frankie."
Saddler: "Damn, Mike. That was intense. You could even say it was... Phenomenal!"
Cantrell: "I get the feeling that somebody might not like you using their catch-phrase, partner, but what the Hell. It really was."
The show ends with a bloody AJ Styles celebrating in the ring.
*The End*

Hey ajcostello! My friend, there are very few things that you can count on - but the excellence of you're feds is a lock. From the not too much / not too little match descriptions to the structure of the show to as joebreakdown said the back and forth between the commentators and the selection of talent. Outstanding job man.

Hey, thanks joebreakdown and Bri for the kind words. I felt a little out of practice but I figured I'd go back to the formula that worked best for me in the past. Once again, just glad you guys like what I'm doing.

Continental Wrestling Federation presents Coming Attractions/ Promo Corner!
***
We open with four men standing in front of the CWF logo in the studio. They are well-dressed and all smiles. They are (in no particular order): Tully Blanchard, J.J. Dillon, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, and his bodyguard Virgil.
Blanchard adjusts the CWF TV title belt that's slung over his shoulder.
Blanchard: "So, J.J. and I have had a busy week. We've been in negotiations with this man right here... "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase... and we've discovered that we have a lot in common. A lot. So, we've decided to join forces. Tully Blanchard Enterprises is no more!"
DiBiase: "The Million Dollar Corporation is gone, as well! (DiBiase laughs) In its place... rising like a phoenix... is the next big thing in professional wrestling!"
Blanchard: "That's right, Teddy, my man! From now on, you are looking at the founding fathers of The Blanchard And DiBiase Company!"
DiBiase: "That's right! So for all of you in the Continental Wrestling Federation... there's only one thing you need to ask yourself...."
DiBiase laughs as the other men are all smiles.
DiBiase: "That question is: Are you good enough to be in B.A.D. Company?"
***
The next thing we are treated to is King Kong Bundy and his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan standing before the CWF logo.
Heenan: "Harley Race! You managed... somehow... to get past King Kong Bundy in the tournament for the World Heavyweight championship! Well, let me tell you something, Mister Race! While you are actually fairly passable in terms of being a wrestler... you, sir... are no real heavyweight! This man beside me is the real heavyweight in this Federation! And... though you got by him once, Race... you won't be so lucky the next time the two of you meet in the ring! I can promise you that!"
Bundy smiles a big, evil smile.
Bundy: "Race! You better get your last will and testament ready... little man... because King Kong Bundy is gonna squash you like a bug!"
***
Our next segment features CWF World Women's Champion "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo standing before the CWF logo in the studio.
Purrazzo smiles and pats the championship belt that rests around her waist.
Purrazzo: "No one gave me a chance to win the title in the big tournament, did they? No one thought I could keep winning when Madison Rayne and her thug Kelly Klein challenged me for my belt this past week either. Well. Take a good long look everybody. "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo is still the CWF Women's champion and the belt is going to stay right here where it belongs. I am the Virtuosa. I am the champion. That means that I am the best damn woman in professional wrestling today and I'm going to prove it every chance I get. It doesn't matter who wants to step up to try to take it from me... it could be Madison again... it could be Melina Perez... it could be "Sensational" Sherri Martel... Heck, it could even be Trish Freaking Stratus herself but the song is going to remain the same no matter who it is that challenges me. Deonna Purrazzo is the best in the world and she's going to remain the best in the world. So line up, ladies, and take a number. I'll be waiting!"

All sorts of cool ajcostello! Especially enjoyed Purrazzo's segment - the image of her telling all her challengers to line up and take a number was killer.

Continental Wrestling Federation: Show #2- Monday, 4 January 2016-
We open the show with the Monday Night Mayhem and CWF logos zooming by on-screen before we're taken down to the commentary team.
"Mad" Mike Cantrell: "Hello and welcome, everybody! This is the first installment of a new thing we'll be doing in the future... and we're all very excited about... TWO SHOWS PER WEEK! What do you say, Frankie?"
Frankie Saddler: "I'm super pumped, Mike! This is the biggest news I've heard in... well... days."
Cantrell: "Well said, partner! You want to get this thing started for us?"
Saddler: "I'd love to, man! Hey, everybody! Let's take it down to ringside!"
With that, we're down at ringside for Miss Cindy Shepherd's first introductions of the night...
*Killer Kross vs. Tiger Conway, Jr.*
Conway pounces right from the opening bell, quickly ramming Kross's head into the turnbuckle and following it up with a head butt. He goes to follow up with flying head scissors and a body slam, but Kross blocks the slam attempt and delivers a powerbomb. Conway is wobbly and he is soon hit with a half-nelson exploder suplex and he decides to take a powder and slip out of the ring to catch his breath. Kross follows him out and the two men engage in a wild brawl! Killer Kross comes out on top and rolls Tiger back into the ring. He patiently waits for Conway to get back to his feet before hitting him with a DOOMSDAY SAITO and a pin attempt. The ref hits the mat and counts to three, ending the match. This one is over!
Winner of the match: Killer Kross!
Cantrell: "A slow start for Killer Kross but once he got going it seemed like it would have been very hard for Tiger Conway Jr. to get things back under control, Frankie."
Saddler: "You said it, Mike! This Killer Kross guy is definitely someone to watch out for in the future. Remember: I said it here first."
Cantrell: "You got it. Hey, let's get back to the action. What do you say?"
Saddler: "Let's do it!"
We return to ringside so that Miss Cindy can bring us...
*Madison Rayne (w/ "The Gatekeeper" Kelly Klein) vs. "The Prodigy" Tessa Blanchard*
The ladies hit the ring and, before things can get underway, Tessa gets her hands on the house mic and says that she, too, has someone in her corner! That someone is none other than J.J. Dillon! That's right! Tessa Blanchard has joined B.A.D. Company! The ladies lock up in the middle of the ring and there's a struggle for dominance before Madison goes for a snap mare that Tessa blocks and counters with a vertical suplex! A hammerlock DDT from Tessa follows but Madison fights it off for the time being. Tessa tries for a corner elbow smash but Rayne sees it coming and blocks with a boot to the head that drops Blanchard! Madison keeps up the offense with a top rope high crossbody. She looks to hit a facebreaker knee smash but Tessa counters and hits another pair hammerlock DDTs. Blanchard looks to follow up with Irish whip knee strikes but Madison blocks it and attempts a dropkick but Tessa is too fast and avoids it. She waits for Rayne to get back to her feet before hitting a running neck breaker that seems to put Madison down. Blanchard goes for a cover... and Kelly Klein hits the ring and jumps Tessa from behind! The ref sees this and has no choice but to call for the bell. This one is over as some CWF officials and J.J. Dillon try to keep Tessa and Kelly apart.
Winner of the match (by DQ): Tessa Blanchard!
Cantrell: "Wow. That was turning into one Hell of a match, wasn't it? It really did look like Tessa had that one wrapped up with a bow on it until Kelly Klein got involved. Something tells me that we'll see more of these ladies in the near future, Frankie."
Saddler: "For sure, Mike. I just hope for Madison Rayne's sake this doesn't distract her from the end goal: Deonna Purrazzo's CWF Women's championship!"
Cantrell: "For sure. That should be the end goal of every woman on the roster!"
Saddler: "I'm pretty sure everyone in the locker rooms wants to be a champion, Mike. Otherwise what would be the entire point?"
Cantrell: "Well said, partner. Let's go back down to the ring for the next match!"
For the third time tonight, we're in Miss Cindy's capable hands as she brings us...
*The Sheepherders (Butch & Luke) vs. Cowboy Country (Sam Houston & Johnny Mantell)*
Luke starts off with a running splash on Mantelland follows up with a back elbow ram that knocks him flat. Luke drops on top of him for a pin attempt but Mantell easily kicks out. Luke tags in Butch who comes in and immediately tosses the man from Montague County, Texas out of the ring! On the outside of the ring, as Butch keeps Sam Houston occupied, Luke takes Mantell and throws him headlong into the steel ring steps and then nonchalantly gets back onto the apron as if nothing had happened. Sam tries to give his partner some moral support but it's to no avail... Mantell can't beat the count back into the ring and is counted out! This one is over!
Winners of the match: The Sheepherders!
Cantrell: "Holy...! Frankie? What just happened?"
Saddler: "Well, Mike. I'm not sure, but I think that Butch and Luke just made what the guys in the back like to call a 'Statement'."
Cantrell: "So many tough teams here in the Continental Wrestling Federation, partner. I hope the Road Warriors are prepared."
Saddler: "Prepared, Mike? I'm willing to bet that they're loving every minute of it!"
Cantrell: "You are most likely right. And, with that... I think it's time to go backstage to take to our dear friend Miss Amy Lee."
We're taken backstage to the interview area where the lovely Amy Lee is waiting for us.
Lee: "Hey, guys! A crazy night of action so far, huh? Well, my guest tonight is likely going to make things just a whole lot more interesting! Let me bring him out... Blackjack Mulligan!"
Blackjack joins Amy on the set.
Lee: "Thanks for taking the time to talk to us, Blackjack!"
Mulligan: "My pleasure, Amy. You see, tonight I have a match against one Mister Tully Blanchard. Did you know that he's surrounded himself with some fools who are calling themselves B.A.D. Company?"
Lee: "Yessir. I did notice that. He's even brought in his daughter: "The Prodigy" Tessa Blanchard. She joined the Company a little earlier tonight, actually."
Mulligan: "Well, little lady, I just want Mister Blanchard and his friends to know that I have some guys watching my back, too! They may not have fared too well just now against them boys from New Zealand, but they'll be ready to jump in should any of Blanchard's little party pals want to stick their noses into my match... where they surely don't belong!"
Lee: "Sounds like you've got everything under control, Mister Blackjack!"
Mulligan: "Oh, I do, Amy Lee. You can bet the ranch on it."
Lee: "Well, thanks for stopping by! Good luck out there tonight!"
Mulligan takes his leave and we soon go back to ringside for...
*The Crusher vs. Al Snow (w/Head)*
The men lock up and Crusher immediately sends Snow into the turnbuckles! He goes running in for a clothesline but Snow ducks to the side and Crusher crashes into the turnbuckles and staggers back... right into Al Snow, who's waiting to roll him up for a surprise pin. Unbelievably, the ref counts to three to end the match! This one is over as Snow and Head go running for the back before Crusher can realize that he just lost the match!
Winner of the match: Al Snow!
Cantrell: "Wait... It's already over?!? What happened?"
Saddler: "Um... man, the Crusher is gonna be so mad right about now!"
Cantrell: "If I were Al Snow? I'd skip the shower and just jump right into the car and head home! Crusher's not gonna be happy with him. Not one bit."
Saddler: "Well, I'm sure we'll see these two back in the ring again before too long, Mike. This sort of thing... this is where things start to turn ugly."
Cantrell: "You want to bet that Crusher's going to immediately try to talk to A.J. Costello... the owner of the CWF... about locking down a rematch?"
Saddler: "Sucker bet, Mike! Hey. It looks like they're ready down by ringside already."
We're back by ringside for another round of Miss Cindy's introductions...
*Reno SCUM (Luster & Adam Thornestowe) vs. The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey; w/ Jim Cornette)*
The guys from Reno SCUM immediately launch into Bobby Eaton and hit him with the Tree Trimmer and then toss him out of the ring! Luster then follows him out and seems like he's going to try to brain Eaton with a steel chair but the ref gets in between the two men and tells Luster to take it back inside the ring. Hew does as he's told and hits Eaton with a gutwrench powerbomb! Eaton rolls out of the ring on his own volition this time and when Luster follows him out, a wild brawl takes place with all four men getting in on it. Luster comes out ahead and rolls "Beautiful" Bobby back into the ring where he's treated to a SCUM STOMP and a cover. Cornette and Condrey are sweating bullets but Eaton manages to (just barely) kick out. Luster tags in his partner, Adam Thornstowe, who looks to wrap things up with a standing shooting star press. Eaton once again powders out of the ring. Adam follows him out but it seems that Bobby was playing possum and catches him... and smashes his head into a table at ringside. Adam is wobbly and Bobby rolls him back into the ring, follows after him, and immediately tags in "Loverboy" Dennis. Condrey hits a FACE-FIRST LEG SWEEP and goes for a pin, but Thornstowe kicks out. Cornette is furious at the ref for what he calls a 'deliberate slow count' but his men keep on the offensive with the ROCKET LAUNCHER! Eaton goes for the pin and Luster hits the ring to make the save but Condrey cuts him off before he can make the save and this match is over!
Winners of the match: The Midnight Express!
After the match, Cornette and his guys swing by the commentary team's table.
Cornette: "Did you see that, you turkeys? That's how it's done!"
Saddler: "So, you're supposed to get your ass kicked for most of the match before making a big comeback?"
Cornette: "What?!? What match were you watching? My boys just went in there and tore those losers a new one!"
Saddler: "If you say so."
Cornette: "Oh, I do say so. I sure do! Turkeys!"
With that Cornette, Eaton, and Condrey head to the back.
Cantrell: "Well, partner, I'm glad they're gone."
Saddler: "Yeah, man. That Cornette guy can be a real pain in the...."
Cantrell: "Oh, I know! Alright, Frankie. It's time for the main event! You ready?"
Saddler: "I was born ready! Let's do this!"
For the last time tonight, we join Miss Cindy so that she can bring us...
*Blackjack Mulligan vs. Tully Blanchard (CWF TV Champion; w/ J.J. Dillon)*
The two men lock up in the middle of the ring before Mulligan launches Tully into the turnbuckles! Mulligan charges in after him but Tully launches himself at his opponent and both men crash into each other like tectonic plates! Both men hit the mat but it's the champion who recovers first! A quick shot from a foreign object and Mulligan goes down again! Tully uses all of his muscles to get Blackjack to his feet and into position for the SLINGSHOT SUPLEX and goes for the cover. The ref's hand hits the mat three times and just like that... this one is over!
Winner of the match (And STILL CWF TV Champion): Tully Blanchard!
Cantrell: "Well... I certainly wasn't expecting that, Frankie."
Saddler: "I know, right? What's going on here tonight?"
The show ends with Tully and J.J. celebrating in the ring, title belt held high.
*The End*
