I say let the London team play 8 straight home games then come live in the US for the second half of the season and all the road games. So that would be like 16 straight home games. Not too equitable. The logistics of this are still outside of what the league is prepared for. Don't see it happening soon. No it wouldn't be 16 straight home games but it doesn't matter it's not going to happen that way.

If it punishes the chargers I am in. Not bitter or anything. I always wondered how fans of teams whose teams leave town react. Do you find a new team or still follow them in their new city? I’d be devastated if the Lions left. Not sure what I would do. Yeah I started watching rugby. It's much bettér. I'll never forgive them. Even if they came back and won a Superbowl. Still would Root against them. Greedy money grubbing....sorry folks. Sorry kids at home. I wish them well in their future endeavors.....in England. Eat a dick Spanos!!!...I mean good luck. Hope you go 6-9 for a decade... sorry sorry everyone. Time to move on. Forgive and definitely forget.

I think they’d have difficulties signing top free agents even when offering the most money. Guys will take 14 million to play in Dallas or New York over 16 million to play in London, especially players w families and kids in school. That's true, but I'd imagine there are some players out there that would want to be in London. It's not totally the same, but Toronto manages. They would have to probably pay more to get the guys to come, though, which would make things extra difficult with a hard salary cap. OTOH, maybe there are British players out there? It's not totally out of the question, right?

I've watched a some rugby (full sided rugby I don't love, but Rugby sevens is really fun).. alot of those guys are crazy physical specimens... I can't imagine their skills wouldn't translate with the right coaching. I'd think NFL money is probably better too.
I think the key would be a legit coach. The World League of American Football part II we don't really want.

Okay now. Being a life-long Chargers fan since the days of Air Coryell, I figured I'd weigh in on this:
Owner Spanos won't move his team UNLESS it gets him some major $$$ from the deal. He's enough of an [insert expletive here] to move the team, but only if the money's right.

And all together now...

Other factors to consider with a team in London is taxes and endorsement deals. It is possible players could keep more of their money. Not saying it's the case but possible. Also they could possibly make a killing in endorsements as NFL players playing in a new country.
