Figures. They want a team in London and jumping on the anti LA Chargers sentiment. If things don't work out after a year or two they move back to LA or even San Diego. The key is schedule games on early Sunday with following games on late Sunday, Monday or have a bye. For them and their visitors.

Still don't see how a team in London will ever work out....unless they plan on keeping them on the road for a few weeks at a time. Even adding games to the schedule would only alleviate things so much.

There's a rumor around here that the NFL could move the Chargers to St. Louis as a way to settle the city's lawsuit against the Rams out of court, but that probably won't happen.

I feel like London could work. The players are going to be Americans for the most part anyway. Flying from the East Coast to London isn't all that different from Boston to LA... it's a 5 hour time difference, I think?
The players will hate it I'm sure, but I'd imagine they'd like it better than an 18 game schedule.

I think they’d have difficulties signing top free agents even when offering the most money. Guys will take 14 million to play in Dallas or New York over 16 million to play in London, especially players w families and kids in school.

I say let the London team play 8 straight home games then come live in the US for the second half of the season and all the road games.

I say let the London team play 8 straight home games then come live in the US for the second half of the season and all the road games. So that would be like 16 straight home games. Not too equitable. The logistics of this are still outside of what the league is prepared for. Don't see it happening soon.

If it punishes the chargers I am in. Not bitter or anything.

If it punishes the chargers I am in. Not bitter or anything. I always wondered how fans of teams whose teams leave town react. Do you find a new team or still follow them in their new city? I’d be devastated if the Lions left. Not sure what I would do.
