Just got back into playing and bought a couple sets and hopefully a couple more before 2020 starts. How do some of you organize them?

I use the old school NES plastic cartridge holders. They fit the cards exact and the case cover is also perfect size for the old champions stickers they used to have in the store! www.amazon.com/NES-Plastic-Game-Case/dp/B004UMXJZMAmazon looks to be out buy ebay always has them in stock.

I guess I'm thinking more like do you organize by year? By company? By set? Alphabetical?

I guess I'm thinking more like do you organize by year? By company? By set? Alphabetical? Current fed is stored together w charts, special match charts, dice etc... As wrestlers retire, exit the current storyline they go into a separate storage sorted by game year, with booklet. Some guys I keep around but for the most part, that’s my system. My LOW and Indy cards are all stored by fed (WWF, WCW, Indy sets are stored together ).

I like keeping the current fed together, still trying to figure mine out.

Right now, most of them are in a giant bin with cards separated by Federations. Then I have a general section for unaffiliated wrestlers within a promotion, tag teams next, followed by factions. All separated w dividers that have the factions name so that it will show above the cards. This is a real general description of how I sort them. If I were able to upload pics I’d show you how neurotic it actually is. Nice part is, out of well over 500 cards I can find any wrestler that I want in a few seconds at most & putting them away is easy too.

I do the same as Swarm with the active roster and GWF retired/updated cards.
And while he separate by fed...I keep the LOW and Indy cards stored by set as they are released.
I have posted elsewhere, I put the cards in 5x8 sheet protectors and then store the them in mini 3-ring binders. Right now I have enough to fill a "footlocker" and someday when I retire from the military and stop moving I am going to get a different storage/shelfing system to have them in. The footlocker is just easy to move then in.
