Gone? What do you mean it's gone?
It means he's not in the database.
You're an idiot.
Melanie, we tried to load him--
It.
We tried to load the matrix, but it's gone. And the AI is gone, too.
Well, who deleted it? And if you say eight-aught, I'll probably kill you.
That's just it, Melanie. No one deleted it. There's no system ID, no record of authorization.
It's just...gone?
'Fraid so.
Well, get it--
You know it's the MacMilitant...
Coming to get it on...
What the hell? Who launched the Long AI?
No one, did, Victoria. No eight-aught. It just...happened.
Now will you believe that the--
No, I will not! Shit...just launch the cybercast. We go live...now!
In-Ring Promo: General Manager Teddy Long
* Long danced his way to the ring with the CWA Holovision Belt over his shoulder!
* The GM said that Gorgeous George had up and left the company. No goodbyes, no notice. "He just ran away like a cat with a bulldog on its tail."
* As promised, Teddy had vacated the CWA "Television" Championship, and a tournament to crown a new champion would start...
* "Right now! Hit my music!"
Round One Match: "Macho Man" Randy Savage (with Cherie Dupré) vs. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil)
Referee: Dick Woehrle
* Macho Man opened the contest with a blistering slap to DiBiase's face, and the Million Dollar Man never really recovered.
* Savage hit a FLYING ELBOW DROP early, but a distraction from Virgil gave DiBiase time to kick out.
* Non-plussed, Savage knocked Virgil off the ring apron with a forearm shot, drove DiBiase into the mat with a piledriver, and hit another FLYING ELBOW DROP for the win.
WINNER: "Macho Man" Randy Savage via pinfall (10:44) *½
Round One Match: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. "Ravishing" Rick Rude (with Bobby "the Brain" Heenan)
Referee: Danny Davis
* Danielson took control early with a variety of suplexes that had Rude down and in big trouble.
* A distraction from Bobby Heenan lured the American Dragon to release a double wrist clutch before he stomped Rude's head into the mat.
* While his opponent was distracted, Rude dumped him over the top rope.
* Rude went high risk with a knee drop from the top turnbuckle to the floor, but Danielson rolled out of the way.
* Rude could not make it back to his feet in time to meet Danny Davis' count.
WINNER: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson via count out (7:44) *
Round One Match: The Crusher vs. "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff
Referee: Morgan Dollar
* Prior to the opening bell, Koloff cornered Morgan Dollar in an attempt to intimidate him, but the referee fired right back and seemed irritated at the Russian.
* A slow, plodding match came to an abrupt end when Morgan Dollar disqualified Koloff for brawling with his opponent on the floor--even though the Crusher had started it.
* Koloff threatened the official after the decision was announced, but the Crusher chased him away,
WINNER: The Crusher via disqualification (7:09) *½
Ringside Interview: Larry Zbyszko
* Gordon Solie caught up with Zbyszko as he was preparing for his first round match against his nemesis, Tully Blanchard.
* Before Zbyszko could get two words out, JJ Dillon led Blanchard and Barry Windham out to the ring, running at a frantic pace.
* The two men began to beat down Zbyszko, until Windham grabbed a chair while Blanchard held Zbyszko's arms.
* Windham swung for the fences, but Zbyszko was able to break free and Blanchard ate a savage chair shot across the face!
Round One Match: Larry Zbyszko vs. Tully Blanchard (with JJ Dillon)
Referee: James Beard
* Windham fled the ring as soon as Blanchard went down, and the official called for the bell.
* Blanchard came up bleeding from the forehead and nose, and Zbyszko went right for a PILEDRIVER, though Dillon provided a distraction and no count was made.
* Zbyszko dominated until Blanchard raked his eyes and threw him out of the ring.
* While Blanchard occupied James Beard, JJ Dillon took off his shoe and hit Zbyszko over the head with it, then rolled him back into the ring.
* One SLINGSHOT SUPLEX later, the match came to an unexpected end.
WINNER: Tully Blanchard via pinfall (7:03) ***½
No-Disqualification Match: Road Warrior Animal vs. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams
Referee: Joey Marella
* While Animal was removing his shoulder pads, Williams attacked him from behind and the official called for the bell.
* Dr. Death completely dominated Animal, who never really recovered from the sneak attack, for much of the match.
* Animal made a brief rally after blocking a Williams dropkick and press slamming him to the mat.
* Still, Williams kept his wits and maneuvered his way into position for a BACKDROP DRIVER, which spelled the end.
WINNER: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams via pinfall (17:35) ****
