Earlier this week I finished reading Rose Madder. The book was OK but definitely not one of my favorite Stephen King books.
Now I am currently reading The Green Mile as someone recently gave also me that book too. I am only on the 1st of 6 books (it is in serial form) in The Green Mile but I am really liking it alot so far (I remember seeing and enjoying the movie about 20 1/2 years ago.)

The Lawnmower Man. It was our first Stephen King movie. Had to be our best. Got us into his movies and into his books.

Started rereading 11/22/63 again because of this thread. Love this book. Ranking up there with Clive Barkerβs The Great and Secret Show, Cormac McCarthyβs The Road, and Harper Leeβs To Kill A Mockingbird as my favorite books.

Started rereading 11/22/63 again because of this thread. Love this book. throwingtoasters, 11/22/63 is definitely one of Stephen King's greatest books. I enjoyed reading it this Spring, thank you so much for telling me about it through this thread! Tonight I finished reading The Green Mile which is definitely another one of Stephen King's greatest books. I read it in serial form (the 6 small books,) I am not sure if he published it later as a single volume. I had not read The Green Mile before but I saw the movie about 20 1/2 years ago, in the next few days I will probably rent that movie on ITunes and watch it again.

The Green Mile was compiled into one collection. That's where I came across it before I saw the movie.

I thought after finishing The Green Mile that I was done reading Stephen King books for awhile. But today I actually got a copy of 1922 (I think this story was originally in a book of a collection of different stories?)

I voted for "other", and that other is, "Eyes of the Dragon"... Great read. Out of curiosity, since I was the only one to mention it, am I the only one here who has read Eyes of the Dragon?

Out of curiosity, since I was the only one to mention it, am I the only one here who has read Eyes of the Dragon? I've read Eyes of the Dragon... Very entertaining! Hey, I'm not the only one! I'm not much into horror, so I haven't read all that much of King... Eyes of the Dragon is more my style, and I couldn't put it down! I also read the Dark Tower series, and enjoyed the first four books... It went downhill after that, IMHO.

The Dark Tower series is probably my favorite book series of all-time... If you haven't read The Talisman or Black House, you might want to give them a try (but, make sure to read Talisman first)... IMHO, 11/22/63 is truly a standout novel... And most likely has the best King ending I've ever read... Truth!
