I even let the dice decide who fights who most times. I just like to see how the wrestlers fare against each other. How do you do that? The dice book the matches? If I want to allow the dice to book the matches, I do the following : Since special matches (eg. dog collar, table) are seldom used, I'll roll the dice and book one if the dice results in double six. Otherwise I roll one die. If I get a 2, it's a tagteam match, else it's a singles match. If I did get a 2, I roll one die again. If I now get a 3, it's a 6-man match; a 4 gives me an 8-man match; anything else, a normal tagteam match. I always choose who will wrestle the tagteam bouts but sometimes I allow the dice to choose who wrestles the singles bouts. To do that, the wrestlers are divided into groups of six. I'll roll one die and say that's a 1, then I'll choose from the first group. And say there are six members in this group, I'll roll again, and say I get 4, then it's the fourth wrestler in the group that is fighting tonight! And if there are more than six wrestlers in a group, I simply divide the group up and roll again until I get a result. After all, dice only go up to six, right? I have to admit though, I have ditched that system for a bingo machine, given every wrestler in my fed a number, and draw numbers out that way. I do like a bit of random booking otherwise I'll only end up favouring my heroes and it's unfair on the others!!!!!!

I have come across this chart before...
Graymar
Booking System- Here are the steps to properly use the following charts. Every chart is explained in further detail. 1. Have your rankings ready along with each wrestler marked “Heel or Face”. 2. Now you must decide how many matches you want to schedule on this card. 3. Next, you have to roll on the match type chart the same amount of times as the number of matches you plan on having. Example: 7 matches= Roll 7 times. Each time you roll, mark down the result. 4. Now you need to rank the type matches in order from most important to least important. Use the following priority list in determining the order of your “match list“. 1. Heavyweight title match 2. Tag Team title match 3. U.S. (or secondary) title match 4. Television (or third) title match 5. Cruiserweight title match 6. Hardcore title match 7. Womens title match 8. U.S. (or secondary) Tag Team title match 9. 6-Man Tag Team title match 10. Tournament 11. Triple Threat match 12. 10-Man Tag Team match 13. 8-Man Tag Team match 14. 6-Man Tag Team match 15. Tag Team match 16. Singles match 17. Battle Royal (wrestlers can appear although already involved in a matches) 5. After all types of matches are ranked, it's time to roll and see who's fighting! Look at the #1 ranked match and refer to the proper chart. Example: If your first ranked bout is a heavyweight title match, look under "Heavyweight Title Defense” and then under either House or PPV and roll 2 dice. Proceed in this manner down your “match list” until the card is completely booked.
Rankings System
Opponents Skill Points Opponent’s Skill Points Win By 0-6 7-13 14-20 Lose By 0-6 7-13 14-20 Pin +3 +4 +5 Pin -5 -4 -3 Count Out +2 +3 +4 Count Out -4 -3 -2 DQ +1 +2 +3 DQ -3 -2 -1 Battle Royal # of Participants divided by 2 Draw, DDQ, etc. -1 0 +1
Modifier: Pay Per View - Multiply points by 2.
Notes: For tag matches, take the team’s “average” points when referring to the above chart. For 6-Man Tag matches, designate prior which wrestlers will be going for singles points, and which for tag team points. Only the last 10 fight cards are figured into the rankings, while being updated after every 5th card.
Designate which wrestlers will be in the singles division and which will be in the tag team division. After every 5 cards, you can decide to change a wrestler’s division. When instructed on any chart below to pick wrestler at random, do so within the same division. Example, in a singles match when random opp is rolled, choose two guys within the singles ranks, no tag team wrestlers, and vice versa. Match Type Roll House Pay Per View 2 6-Man Tag Tag Team 3. Singles Singles 4. Tag Title Singles 5. Choice US Title 6. Singles HW Title 7. Singles Choice 8. TV Title Choice 9. US Title Tag Title 10. Tag Team Singles 11. Singles TV Title 12. HW Title 6-Man Tag
Example: You roll the dice and "singles" comes up. This means one of the matches you'll have is a regular singles match. If you rolled Tag title it means there will be a tag title defense on the card. Note: After the first time you roll "Six-Man Tag" the instruction then becomes "singles". Also if roll any title match, and then roll the same one again, it then becomes "singles". This also goes for any title in which may not be decided as of yet in your fed. Example: If you roll "television title" but you do not have a champion yet, it then becomes "singles". The same goes if you have a rolled a certain title once already, it then becomes “singles”. When you roll “choice“, it is totally up to you! You might want a certain title to be decided (possibly one not found on the chart), or maybe a battle royal, triple threat tag team, whatever. But make sure you only book the type of match, not the competitors as you will do that later. So for now just book the TYPE OF MATCH.
Singles Match Roll House Pay Per View 2 Top 2 Opp* Top 2 TT Opp 3 Choice Top 2 Opp 4 Top 2 Opp Choice 5 Top 2 Opp Top 2 Opp* 6 Choice Choice 7 Random Opp Choice 8 Random Opp Choice 9 Top 2 Opp Top 2 Opp 10 Random Opp Top 2 Opp 11 Top 2 TT Opp Top 2 Opp 12 Top 2 Opp Random Opp
Example: You roll the dice and "Top 2 Opp" comes up. You look at the overall rankings (champions are not included) and find the top 2 wrestlers available (not suspended, not already booked etc.) who are of opposite status (i.e. heel-face). If a roll is followed by an asterisk, this means it will be a specialty match and you must pick the type of match it will be. If "random opp" comes up, you choose two wrestlers at random (but they have to be of opposite status) for that match. If "top 2 TT opp" comes up, you must look at the overall tag team rankings (champions not included) and find the two top tag teams of opposite status. One member of each of these teams will then be booked in a singles match. “Choice” gives you the opportunity to book any two wrestlers you desire in any type of specialty match.
Tag Team Match Roll House Pay Per View 2 Top 2 Opp* Top 2 Opp 3 Top 2 HW Opp Random Opp 4 Random Opp Top 2 Opp 5 Top 2 Opp Top 2 Opp 6 Random Opp Choice 7 Random Opp Choice 8 Choice Choice 9 Top 2 Opp Top 2 Opp 10 Choice Top 2 Opp* 11 Top 2 Opp Choice 12 Top 2 Opp Random Opp The rules for this chart are primarily the same as a singles match, except when you roll "top HW opp". When this comes up, look at the overall singles rankings (champs not included) and find the top 2 available guys who are of opposite status. Each of these guys will then pick a tag team partner (your choice) to take part in this match.
6-Man Tag Team Match Roll House Show Pay Per View 2 Top 6 HW Opp Choice 3 Top 2 HW Opp Random 2 TT Opp 4 Top 2 HW Opp Top 2 HW Opp 5 Top 2 TT Opp Choice 6 Choice Choice 7 Top 2 TT Opp Choice 8 Random 2 TT Opp Choice 9 Top 2 TT Opp Top 2 TT Opp 10 Choice Top 2 TT Opp* 11 Top 2 TT Opp* Top 6 HW Opp 12 Random 2 TT Opp Top 2 HW Opp
Example: If "top 2 hw opp" comes up you will refer to the overall singles rankings (champs not included) and find the top 2 guys of opposite status. These two wrestlers will then select 2 tag team partners (your choice) to be in the 6-man tag. If "top 2 TT opp" comes up, this means you refer to the tag rankings (champs not included) and find the top 2 tag teams of opposite status. Each of these teams will select a partner (your choice) to take part in the match. “Top hw 6 Opp” means you look at the singles rankings (champs not included) and find the top 6 available wrestlers of opposite status (so 3 faces and 3 heels). These 6 guys will be in the 6-man tag bout.
8-Man Tag Team Match Roll House Show Pay Per View 2 Choice Choice 3 Top 8 HW Opp Top 4 TT Opp 4 Top 2 HW Opp Top 2 HW Opp 5 Random 2 TT Opp Choice 6 Choice Choice 7 Top 2 TT Opp Choice 8 Choice Choice 9 Top 2 TT Opp Top 2 TT Opp 10 Top 4 TT Opp Choice 11 Top 2 TT Opp Top 8 HW Opp 12 Top 2 TT Opp* Top 2 HW Opp
This chart is practically the same as a 6-man except for "Top 2 HW Opp", each wrestler will select 3 partners (your choice) and "Top 2 TT Opp", each team will select 2 partners. "Top 4 TT Opp" means you find the top 4 tag teams (2 Face, 2 Heel), they will team up. Lastly, “Top 8 HW Opp” means you look at the singles rankings (champs not included) and find the top 8 available wrestlers of opposite status (so 4 faces and 4 heels). These 8 guys will be in the 8-man tag bout.
10-Man Tag Team Match Roll House Show Pay Per View 2 Top 2 TT Opp* Choice 3 Top 4 TT Opp Top 4 TT Opp 4 Choice Top 2 Opp 5 Top 2 HW Opp Choice 6 Top 4 TT Opp Choice 7 Choice Choice 8 Top 2 TT Opp Choice 9 Random 2 TT Opp Top 2 TT Opp 10 Choice Choice 11 Top 10 HW Opp Choice 12 Top 2 TT Opp Top 10 HW Opp
This chart is practically the same as a 8-man except for "Top 2 HW Opp", each wrestler will select 4 partners (your choice) and "Top 2 TT Opp", each team will select 3 partners. "Top 4 TT Opp" means you find the top 4 tag teams (champs not included) of opposite status. The two heel teams will select a partner (your choice) and tag up against the two face teams who will select a partner (your choice). Lastly, “Top 10 HW Opp” means you look at the singles rankings (champs not included) and find the top 10 available wrestlers of opposite status (so 5 faces and 5 heels). These 10 guys will be in the 10-man tag bout.

“On Card” means every wrestler that fought on the card will appear in the battle royal (this can include champions who may have fought). “Top 20” means the top 20 ranked singles wrestlers (or top 10 ranked tag teams if you picked tag team battle royal) will compete (HW champ and Tag Champs not included). “Random 20” means you randomly select 20 guys to be in the battle royal. Note: It's up to you if you decide to have your Champions compete in the battle royal.

This is the chart you roll on if you decided to hold a tournament (a regular tourney, not a title tourney). "Random" means you randomly select the appropriate number of participants. “Top Contenders” means if you booked a 8-man tourney, the top 8 available wrestlers will compete. “Top Cont/Random” means if you booked a 8-man tourney, the top 4 available wrestlers are entered, and you randomly select the remaining 4 wrestlers. “Top Cont/Choice” means if you booked a 8-man tourney, the top 4 available wrestlers are entered as well as 4 more of your choosing. “Choice” means you can enter anyone you want in the tourney.

First decide if this will be a singles or tag match, as well as if the match will be fought using Triangle or Triple Threat Rules before rolling. “Top 3 opp” means you look for the top 3 available wrestlers. One must be of opposite status than the others (i.e. 1 heel, 2 faces or 2 heels, 1 face). “Random Opp” means you randomly select the three guys but one must be of opposite status than the others. “Top 2 Opp/Choice” means you find the top 2 available ranked wrestlers (or teams if a tag match) of opposite status to be in the match, then you choose the third wrestler
Heavyweight Title Defense Roll House Show Pay Per View 2 Triangle Opp Random 10 3 Battle Royal Winner Top 2 Winner 4 Random 10 No.1 Contender 5 Hi Opp Choice 6 Choice Hi Opp* 7 Hi Opp Choice 8 No. 1 Contender Choice 9 Hi Opp No.1 Contender 10 Random 10 Choice 11 Top 2 Winner Triangle Opp 12 Hi Opp* Triangle Winner
“Triangle Opp” means the champ will face the top 2 HW contenders with 1 of the three being of opposite status. So if the champ is a heel and the top 2 are faces, that is O.K. If the champ is a heel, and the top 2 contenders are heels, only the top heel would be in the match, along with the highest ranked face. Hi Opp means the champ will face the highest ranked HW contender of opposite status. No. 1 Contender means the champ will face the no.1 HW contender regardless of status. Battle Royal Winner means there will be a 20 man battle royal (top 20 contenders) on the card with the winner getting a shot at the champ that night. Note: If you have a battle royal already booked, scratch it and only hold this one, as I have never seen more than 1 battle royal on a card before (Except the two ring version). Top 2 Winner means the top 2 contenders regardless of status will fight with the winner facing the champ on the same card. Triangle Winner means the top 3 contenders for the HW belt will square off with the winner facing the champ on the same card. Hi Opp followed by an asterisk means specialty match, you pick which one. Random 10 means you randomly pick one of the top 10 contenders for the title be the challenger regardless of status. Choice gives you the chance to book the champ against anybody in any type of match. This wrestler can but doesn't even have to be ranked, could be a brand new guy, anyone, it's up to you!

Holy crap somebody still has a copy of my old booking chart!!! Wow, I thought that thing was long gone by now.
Anyways, looking at it now, after God knows how many years, it's even giving me a headache!
I'm gonna mess with it tonight for old times sake and determine if it's worth salvaging or not.
Good looks! Mike H, er, Slymm

It's actually simpler when it is done as a non-storyline fed. Especially with Legends. You only have to consider two things - you have a lot of wrestlers, and you have instincts.
Think about it like this. You have a slew of independent contractors to choose from. Colorful characters. Great workers. High fliers, Bruising brawlers. Mat technicians. Good Guys. Bad Guys. LOW provides some great wrestlers for you to choose from. And when you and your friends get together, all you have to do is pick who you like and pick the matchups you want to see.
Continuity? Pah! Continuity is for sissies! LOW is the best of the best from all eras with a roster boasting experience across three centuries. All you need to do is let the dice fly!
LOW is pretty awesome, and this summer, it only gets better!

my fed isn't booked on storylines other than natural ones (a title case for example).
Instead what I focus on is my own enjoyment of the matches. so after every match I put a satisfaction rating (usually out of ten). I base this on two things, expectations of the match and what actually happens in the match.
So for example the Road Warriors wrestle two jobbers. if its a squash match (which is what the fans would expect) then it'll get a higher rating. however if the road warriors win but only just it'll get a low rating as the fans(me) expected better.
however say for a US title match between Curt Henning and Snuka I expect to see a lengthy near falls match. so if they had a quick match they would get a low rating if it was a ppv. the higher rating that wrestlers get the more the booker(me) favours them in the future. so far Steve Williams has been having awesome matches in my fed. He was ranked tenth but because of his good effort and winning matches he's been jumped up quite quickly.

What happened to putting a match on. getting a feeling that causes you to maybe say hey these guys should feud, this dude needs a title shot. It's really about enjoying the game. not rocket science.
