S.D. Jones over the Iron Sheik! I love seeing upsets like that and also S.D. wanting that title shot. I'm also building up an Andre vs. OMG match so it is cool to see their rivalry at a fever pitch in Golden State. That Street Fight should be wild. I also really love the way you are using Bill Apter, there are so many ways to spice up the action with his card. This has become one of my favorite feds. Thanks cruefan68! I really appreciate that a lot. Andre vs. OMG is, hopefully, gonna be a classic! The Apter Card is a lot of fun and I like having a regular interview segment as part of the show. Soon, Piper will be coming in so I may bring Piper's Pit in as well and see how that does, but I'm happy with Apter's card. Thanks again!

PROUDLY PRESENTS CARD 1980.075 Live from the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA! MATCH #1 Cowboy Bob Orton d. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan via pinfall after an atomic kneedrop. - SQUASH - Orton gets a quick win over Duggan here much like Duggan did on Monday Night Mayhem.
MATCH #2 Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka d. King Harley Race via countout when Race couldn't answer the ten count after Snuka threw him out of the ring and then hit him with a SUPERFLY SMASH on the arena floor. - ***1/2 - An impressive finish to the match, but still not a decisive victory. This does put the partnership of Snuka and the Hillbillies up one against Heenan's men!
Magnificent Muraco and Mr. Fuji came out next. Muraco grabbed the mic and demanded that whomever this person was that attacked him get out here and face him man to man. For several minutes nothing happened, but then, from the crowd, came the man in the hood whom the announcers just began calling Unknown.
MATCH #3 Unknown d. Magnificent Muraco via DQ when Mr. Fuji whacked Unknown with his cane. - ** - Unknown, whomever he is, put up a great fight against Muraco. No one could get a sense of who he was though some say there was something familiar about him.
MATCH #4 Mr. Perfect d. Hillbilly Jim via countout after Perfect delivered a PERFECT PLEX on the the arena floor and Jim couldn't get back into the ring. - **1/2 - After the bell Perfect delivered two more PERFECT PLEXES on the floor. He was about to deliver a third when the refs broke it up. Hillbilly Jim was taken out on a stretcher, obviously injured. Perfect was yelling at him saying now they were even for him injuring Bundy!
MATCH #5 STEEL CAGE MATCH George "The Animal" Steele d. The Mountie by escaping the cage after slamming The Mountie's head painfully into the bars of the cage. - ** - The Mountie offered no offense in this match. It was all The Animal!
After the match, Steele climbed back into the ring and locked the door and went after The Mountie again! Ted DiBiase, Virgil and Sensational Sherri all ran out to try and stop The Animal but the Missing Link came out and chased them off! Steele began tearing off the top turnbuckles and eating them, but then ramming The Mountie's head into them once exposed! Finally officials were able to get the key for the padlock on the door and get into the cage. Albano was able to calm Steele down, but The Mountie was a bloody heap. The Mountie was taken off on a stretcher, barely able to move.
Both a Russian Flag and a New Zealand flag were hung above the ring and several ladders placed around the ring area. The first team to get the flags would win and were free to do whatever they'd like to the opposing team's flag.
MATCH #6 FLAG MATCH THE BOLSHEVIKS d. THE BUSHWHACKERS when Nikolai Volkoff was able to snag the flags (pinfall) after delivering a BACKBREAKER DROP to Bushwhacker Butch. - ***1/2 - After THE BOLSHEVIKS got the New Zealand flag they tore it up, eliciting boos from the crowd. They then began to sing the Russian National Anthem which got the crowd even crazier!
MATCH #7 STREET FIGHT Andre the Giant d. One Man Gang via pinfall after he hit the BIG SPLASH. - ****1/2 - This one was all over the arena. Gang hit Andre with chairs, pipes, you name it, but nothing seemed to phase Andre who just kept tearing after One Man Gang. Gang found himself bloodied after the match, while Andre seemed not troubled at the least by what he'd been through. Andre truly is the Giant of Golden State Wrestling!
It was announced that, due to injuries, Paul Ellering would not be here to lead THE ROAD WARRIORS into battle.
MATCH #8 WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP THE ROAD WARRIORS and MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION battled to a DOUBLE DQ. - **1/4 - Good while it lasted but it quickly devolved into a brawlfest! The ref had no choice but to call it when the action spilled outside and he couldn't get any wrestler to listen to him. Chairs! Tables! You name it, it was used!
MAIN EVENT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP "Ravishing" Rick Rude d. Iron Sheik by DQ when the Sheik refused to stop brawling. - ***1/2 - The Iron Sheik dominated this match! He had Rude close to pinned several times! At the end, Heenan distracted the ref and Sheik would have no more of it! He chased after Heenan and Rude followed resulting in a brawl outside the ring floor! Sheik walloped Rude with a chair despite the ref's warnings and the match was called.
The fans actually started booing loudly after the bell. Neither Rude nor Sheik is a fan favorite, but they were disappointed at a DQ ending to, what should be, the biggest match of the year!

WrestleMania IV was great, complete with a fun intro video! Love how you got the card art in there! The DQ in the main event was a bit of a disappointment but not surprising with the two men involved. Hopefully there wasn't a fan riot afterward A real fun show overall and cool to see Andre get the big Street Fight win over OMG.

I just imagine Andre being like a movie monster like part Frankenstein part Jason. Just unstoppable and keeps moving toward Gang.

PROUDLY PRESENTS CARD 1983.076
Live from Golden State Wrestling Studios, Burbank, CA!
MATCH #1 Missing Link and One Man Gang brawled to a DOUBLE DQ. - *1/2 - The two big men battle to a chair smashing double DQ in what looks to be a new feud! Gang, eager to prove he's still tough after losing his feud to Andre pulls out all the stops! Missing Link gladly answers.
MATCH #2 Cousin Luke d. King Kong Bundy via submission with a bear hug. - ** - HUGE win here for Cousin Luke! Bundy's return looking for some measure of justice against the Hillbillies and it appears his ribs are still sore from when Hilbilly Jim sent him to the injured list with the same move! Cousin Luke did a jig around the ring in celebration as Heenan helped Bundy to the back.
MATCH #3 KILLER BEES d. THE BUSHWHACKERS via DQ when Bushwhacker Butch whipped B. Brian Blair into the guardrails. - DUD - The wild, unpredictability of THE BUSHWHACKERS are seemingly the thing holding them back from getting any wins.
MATCH #4 George "The Animal" Steele d. S.D. Jones via submission with the FLYING HAMMERLOCK. - * - Solid win here for the newly returned wild man. It'll be interesting to see where he goes now that he's put The Mountie out of action.
MATCH #5 Magnificent Muraco d. The Unknown via DQ when The Unknown slammed Muraco's head into the guardrails at ringside. - ** - This was a great back and forth battle. Muraco actually was close to winning a time or two and nearly had The Unknown's hood off, but we weren't to find out who is under it on this night. As soon as the bell rang The Unknown slipped back into the crowd.
BILL APTER'S HOT SEAT: THE DREAM TEAM came out and admitted that they have fallen short of their quest to be legitimate contenders for the WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. So they've turned to a new manager who has held the very belt they are after: Luscious Johnny V! 1/2 of the former GSW team, The Valiant Brothers, Johnny V has returned to attempt to guide THE DREAM TEAM to the gold and he said with his guidance, no other team in the GSW would be able to stop them! This brought out Jim Cornette and THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! Cornette said that The MIDNIGHT EXPRESS has way more of a history of gold than THE VALIANTS ever had and that THE DREAM TEAM could ever ‘dream’ of having! A huge brawl erupted and security was called to separate the six men! This brought out Commissioner Patrick who booked the two teams against each other on Wrestling Challenge!
MAIN EVENT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP NO DQ - NO COUNTOUT - NO ONE ALLOWED AT RINGSIDE Iron Sheik d. "Ravishing" Rick Rude via submission with THE CAMEL CLUTCH to become the new WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! - ****1/2 - The fans didn't know what to think about this match as both men are pretty hated, but like it or not there is a new WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Immediately Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov ran out to celebrate with the Iron Sheik, Rude for his part slunk away, glaring occasionally over his shoulder at the in-ring celebration!
Fans were treated to the Iranian National Anthem being played as we...

MATCH #6 One Man Gang d. Missing Link via DQ when Link hit Gang with a wild chair shot. – **1/2 – Albano seems to be having a harder and harder time controlling Link! It was a good back and forth match until Link seemingly went berserk again.
BILL APTER’S HOT SEAT Bill’s first guest was former WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “Ravishing” Rick Rude and his manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. Both men were livid saying that there was no reason for Sheik, who’d lost by DQ at WRESTLEMANIA, to get a rematch last time on WRESTLING SUPERSTARS. They invoked Rude’s rematch clause and demanded Commissioner Patrick make the match ASAP!
After the commercial break, Apter’s guests were none other than Magnificent Muraco and Mr. Fuji! Muraco said that whoever this ‘Unknown’ was won’t be seen again and it’s too bad because he would have delighted in exposing his true identity to the world! PROUDLY PRESENTS CARD 1983.078
Live from Golden State Wrestling Studios, Burbank, CA! The show opens with "Ravishing" Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan standing in the middle of the ring. He says that Commissioner Patrick has granted the rematch and the Iron Sheik must give him one. He says tonight he's going to show the Iron Sheik what he's in for.
MATCH #1 "Ravishing" Rick Rude d. Mister X via pinfall after the RUDE AWAKENING. - SQUASH - After wiping the floor with Mister X in only a few moves, Rude grabs the mic and says he wants to put the RUDE AWAKENING up against the CAMEL CLUTCH and proposes a FINISHER MATCH when the two meet again! He says he'll be waiting for the answer!
MATCH #2 MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION d. DREAM TEAM via pinfall when DiBiase hit Valentine with a powerslam. - * - Johnny V. had interfered on behalf of Valentine but hit The Hammer instead of DiBiase! DiBiase took advantage and got the win. Beefcake and Valentine were not happy with Johnny V. after the match.
MATCH #3 Koko B. Ware d. Cowboy Bob Orton via DQ when Orton refused to bring the action back into the ring. - **1/2 - Ware was actually close to winning several times, but the ref got knocked out and was unable to count the pin! By the time the ref was back up, the action had spilled outside the ring and led to an Orton DQ!
MATCH #4 THE KILLER BEES d. THE BUSHWHACKERS via submission when Brunzell slapped the sleeper on Bushwhacker Butch. - ***1/2 - Great back and forth here between these two teams and finally a clean finish to a Bushwhacker match, even though they wound up on the losing end.
BILL APTER'S HOT SEAT Bill's first guest was Captain Lou Albano and The Missing Link. Albano looked despondent as he stated that Link just hans't been the same since The Mountie had shocked him. He's wilder, harder to control. Apter asked about a rematch with One Man Gang. Albano said, Link wants to do it, but he cannot be responsible for Link's actions in that match and that Gang wrestles him at his own risk.
After a commercial break, Apter's next guest was WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION The Iron Sheik. Apter asked about Rude's challenge and The Iron Sheik accepted saying he'd make Rude scream like a little girl when he locked him in the Camel Clutch! This brought Rude out who said he wanted to have the match now, but the Sheik begged him off saying they'd do it at Starrcade!
MAIN EVENT Jimmy Superfly Snuka and Cousin Luke d. King Harley Race and King Kong Bundy via DQ when Heenan's men refused to stop brawling. - * - Everyone was looking for some finality in the feud between Heenan's men and The Hillbillies and Snuka but this one was a brawl from the opening bell!
