Solid Tour results! And you don't see DRAWS to end matches often in this game, whew! Nice!

SEASON 18 RESULTS
JANUARY: Johnny Valentine b. Buddy Rogers with an Atomic Skullcrusher to maintain possession of the WWA World Heavyweight Championship (***1/2). A decent title match this evening, to start Season 18! Rogers even had his Figure 4 Grapevine locked in at one point, but our champion, tough as nails, managed to escape, and regain control of the contest, taking it home with the Skullcrusher.
On the undercard, in a continuation of their feud, Jackie Fargo DQ Abdullah the Butcher (**1/4). Nary a wrestling move in sight in this one fans, as the two tore into each other right from the opening bell. The action spilled outside, and that was all she wrote on this one! The feud continues...
As for our World Champion, he's headed to Chicago, IL next month for a scheduled defense against Larry "The Axe" Hennig.
Valentine: 3 Title Defenses.

FEBRUARY: Johnny Valentine b. Larry "The Axe" Hennig with a forearm hammer in very short order, hardly breaking a sweat this evening, to retain the WWA World Heavyweight Championship (*1/4). Well, they can't all be 5-star classics, now can they?? Valentine was in no mood for a long match this evening, and made that abundantly clear by nailing Hennig with the forearm shot, watching Hennig drop like a stone. Johnny Valentine's a baaaaad man, ladies and gentlemen!
Our champion will travel to Detroit, MI next month for a scheduled defense against Pedro Morales. Can Morales stop the Valentine Express?? Be sure to catch this bout WWA fans!
Valentine: 4 Title Defenses.

MARCH: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a nnnnnnnneeeeeeewwwww WWA World Heavyweight Champion!! Pedro Morales b. Johnny Valentine with a Boston Crab to win the WWA World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in a very good title bout (***3/4). Morales, giving up a few inches in height to the former champion, nevertheless took the match right to Valentine, and let him have it with both barrels. Valentine was lucky to survive a couple of earlier pinfall attempts, and even seemed to be on the verge of taking back control of the match, when Morales cinched in the Boston Crab too far away from the ropes, and Valentine had to submit. Good little run for Valentine, and we wish our former World Champion all the best!
As for our new World Champion, up first for him will be a scheduled defense against Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka from St. Louis in April. See you there!!

APRIL: Pedro Morales b. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka with a Boston Crab to remain the WWA World Heavyweight Champion in a good title match (***1/2). Snuka certainly had his moments, even landing a devastating Superfly Leap midway through the contest, almost bringing the Pedro Morales title run to an abrupt end. Morales managed to survive that attempt, and regained his mojo to resume control of the contest, and finally put Snuka away! Whew....that was close Morales fans!
After that near-loss, Morales must regroup, as he has a rematch with former champion Johnny Valentine on the horizon, and that will come to you live, and in living color, from Kansas City next month!
Morales: 1 Title Defense.

MAY: Johnny Valentine DQ Pedro Morales when Valentine was disqualified for excessive brawling outside of the ring, allowing Morales to maintain possession of the WWA World Heavyweight Title (**1/4). This one went to fisticuffs early, as Valentine wanted revenge against Morales for having lost the title, and made no bones about it. The action spilled out of the ring, and just became uncontrollable, leading to the ref calling for the DQ. Well, Valentine doesn't gain a measure of revenge insomuch that he didn't regain the World Title, but he did put a licking on our champion, so Johnny may be happy after all!
As for our champion, he will next defend against Adrian Adonis, the "Golden Boy", next month from Chicago, Il.
Morales: 2 Title Defenses.

JUNE: Pedro Morales DQ "Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis when Adonis was given the hook for excessive brawling outside of the ring, ending the match fairly early, with Morales retaining the WWA World Heavyweight Title (**1/4). Match had just started to cook a little bit when the action spilled outside of the ring, and it went to Fist City! Morales is not a man to be trifled with, and he gave as good as he received, making sure the Golden Boy was given a receipt for his actions!
On the undercard, in an inter-promotional battle, The Rock b. Marcus Colby with a Rock Bottom to send Colby packing (**1/2). Colby, a star in another popular federation, came in with a lot of bravado, but The Rock sent him packing and back to his fed with his tail between his legs (PROMOTER'S NOTE: Colby's a star in my bootleg fed, and occasionally, I just like to have fun little inter-promotional matches....sometimes they go nowhere, but sometimes, they can develop into fun feuds!).
Well, unfortunately for Adonis, the WWA World Title waits for no man, and our champion will move on, heading back to St. Louis next month for a scheduled defense against "Superstar" Billy Graham.
Morales: 3 Title Defenses.
