Lou Albano was unable to stop his man Jimmy Snuka from dropping the world heavyweight title to Harley Race. That makes Race a 5-time world heavyweight champion.

Show Notes: it was an unusually violent night of USWA action. Top matches included Rockin' Robin with a hard-fought win over Joyce Grable. Jim Powers battled Alexis Smirnoff tooth and nail. Smirnoff won with the Heart Punch but attacked after the bell and the decision was reversed.

Gorgeous George took a count out victory over Hillbilly Jim. Kevin Sullivan was DQed against Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Bob Roop upset Buddy Rogers with sheer grit and determination. Solid wins by the Vachons, Barry Windham and Curt Hennig led to the main event.

At SuperClash V three weeks ago the two teams battled to a double DQ. This time the Fantastics scored a pretty fast pin on Boris Zhukov to take the U.S. tag team titles but Volkoff and Zhukov laid them out after the match.

Show Notes: the brutality of the Brass Knuckles match between Burke and Jazz was almost too much to swallow. This fight could have gone either way but it was Jazz digging down deep to stay alive and batter Burke down until she could not get up.

Curt Hennig won for the Four Horsemen in fairly easy fashion over Bobby Heenan's Bobby Shane. I-C champ Nick Bockwinkel & Rick Rude never allowed Tully Blanchard to tag world champion Harley Race. The Horsemen-Heenan Family feud rolls on!
