USWA GLORY #118 Buffalo, NY April 23, 2119
ADRIAN STREET def. DEWEY ROBERTSON
The NWA World Jr. heavyweight champion was looking for a tuneup before defending the title next week at Parade of Champions. Robertson gave him a tough fight though. Street slowly took over and Robertson proved tough to put away. A big knee lift knocked Robertson down long enough for the three count.
THE AXE ATTACK def. DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
A real good back and forth contest. The Axe was in trouble and took a shoulderbreaker from Roop and the Hawaiian Hammer from Muraco. Curt Hennig made the save and all four men were in the ring. The ref was putting Roop back out when Curt nailed Muraco and put his dad on top for the cover.
THE ORTONS def. THE DIBIASES
Bob Orton Sr. and Ted DiBiase, the finalists in the North American title tournament, went out and got family to help. Orton Jr. superplexed Ted DiBiase to win the match. It was the Ortons who were the only team to beat the DiBiases in round robin play during the Family Feud last month. Orton Sr. and DiBiase will meet for the title next week at Parade of Champions.
JIMMY SNUKA def. MAGNUM T.A.
An interesting match here with the fans torn as to who to cheer for. Magnum didn't have the momentum for long. Snuka took over and after controlling the match landed the Superfly Leap for the win.
HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS def. MONGOLS
The new North American tag team champions took care of business in this one. The Mongols fought hard but Race ended things with the Indian Deathlock. They will go after Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan for the world tag team titles at Parade of Champions.
MIL MASCARAS def. NIKOLAI VOLKOFF
The world champ took on the big Russian a week before meeting Andre the Giant for the title. Volkoff wrestled an awesome match and frustrated Mascaras at every turn. A very long and hard fought battle as Volkoff just wouldn't go down. Mascaras eventually won off the top rope (Volkoff 5 coins).
THE SHEIK def. BOBO BRAZIL
The war has been reignited between these two. They were out of control from before the bell rang. Both tried to hurt the other outside the ring and get a countout. The Sheik threw the fire ball but Bobo got the foot on the ropes. The Sheik easily put him in the Camel Clutch for the win (Sheik 5 coins, Bobo 3 coins).
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/U] ANTONIO INOKI & RIKODOZAN (ch) def. GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN
A non-title win last week brought them a title match this week. A super matchup that went back and forth the entire way. Plenty of nearfalls on both sides. It was Rikidozan following up after Inoki with chops and the hiplock to get the pin on Jonathan.

The next card is the Parade of Champions, and will be the final show promoted by the USWA. The company will then run as the North American Wrestling Alliance. Here is a brief look at the past Parade of Champions events.
PARADE OF CHAMPIONS 2116 card #15
Buddy Rogers (World Champ) vs. Giant Baba Buddy Rogers went right to work on Baba with piledrivers and dropkicks for a two-count. Baba also withstood the Figure Four. Chops and the big boot got Baba going and then a bear hug and the boot again gave Baba a cover on the champ. The two fought back and forth until Rogers used the piledriver and then the Figure Four to finally secure the win.
USWA PARADE OF CHAMPIONS Charlotte, NC April 25, 2117
Johnny Valentine & Don Leo Jonathan defended the World tag team titles in a Lumberjack Match against the Dream Team. There was plenty of attacks by the wrestlers on the outside, changing the tide of the match several times. After all four men took serious beatings Johnny Valentine beat Brutus Beefcake with the Atomic Skullcrusher.
In the main event, Mil Mascaras put the world title up for grabs against Harley Race. Mascaras had little offense as Race took whatever he gave and maintained control with great wrestling moves. The piledriver defeated Mascaras and gave Race his third world heavyweight title.
USWA PARADE OF CHAMPIONS Sam Houston Coliseum Houston, TX April 24, 2118
Danny Hodge def. Don Leo Jonathan to win the World TV title This was a super technical back and forth match. DLJ was able to match dropkicks with Hodge and both men kept up a sustained offense. Fortune smiled on Hodge when Jonathan hit the turnbuckle headfirst and Hodge covered him for the three count.
Ed Lewis def. Jim Londos to win the U.S. title As expected these two traqded moves and counters on the mat. Lewis continually came back with the full nelson and head lock. Finally the grueling pressure of the headlock wore out Londos.
Jimmy Snuka def. Bruiser Brody in a Steel Cage match Bruiser Brody is now out of work for 90 days! Snuka took some punishment but kept dishing it back to Brody. The Superfly was on a mission in this one to be done with Brody once and for all. Snuka did just that with a flying head butt for the pin.

USWA PARADE OF CHAMPIONS[/u] Boston Garden Boston, MA April 30, 2119
ELIMINATION MATCH[/U] ROAD WARRIORS & JIMMY SNUKA def. THE MONGOLS
What an epic first fall. The LOD and the Superfly really dominated the action, but the Mongols worked well as a team and constantly got out of the ring when in trouble. Oliver Humperdink tossed the cane in and Animal took a shot to the throat. Twice they used the Doomsday Device but the Mongols kept the match going. Bolo Mongol was powerslammed on the concrete by Animal and counted out for the first elimination.
The second fall didn't take long with the Mongols nearly worn out already. The Superfly landed the top rope splash to beat Bepo Mongol. Snuka piledrive Geeto and the LOD crushed him with the Doomsday Device to win the match.
SUPER CRAZY def. MIKE QUACKENBUSH
A spectacular, high-flying matchup. Quackenbush seemed ready to put away the debuting Super Crazy with little trouble. Then it turned into a barn burner of match. Super Crazy missed his dives to the floor, but still came back to land the Triple moonsault. Super Crazy kicked out of the Quackendriver. The match just kept going back and forth until Super Crazy speared Quackenbush to grab the pin (Quackenbush 5 coins, Super Crazy 4 coins).
SUPERSTAR BILL DUNDEE def. PLAYBOY BUDDY ROSE by C.O.
An impressive debut for the Superstar, taking on one of Konnan's Foreign Legion members. A pretty fast paced contest. Dundee controlled the match, but Rose was able to get his shots in. Rose kicked out of the Superstar Bomb, and bought some time on the outside. Dundee piledrove Rose on the floor and won by countout.
RICK RUDE def. JERRY LYNN
This was a match that the Ravishing One demanded, not really care who it was against but saying he must be on the card for Parade of Champions. Lynn debuted with fast-paced moves and put Rude in the cradle piledriver twice. Rude kicked out and the Rude Awakening sent Lynn down for the three. Rude was joined in the ring by "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert, who announced the formation of Hotstuff Incorporated. Rude then put his finisher on Lynn again.
MIDNIGHT EXPRESS def. NEW AGE OUTLAWS
A challenge match issued by Jim Cornette to Bobby Heenan. Billy Gunn was caught off-guard very early when Condrey tagged Lane for the Rocket Launcher and the three count came down. This didn't sit well with Heenan's team and all four broke down into a wild brawl while Cornette chased Heenan around the ring and to the back.
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/U] DANNY HODGE def. ADRIAN STREET (ch)
The former title holder wasted no time in going to work. Street never saw what hit him. Hodge took charge, easily putting Street down and the Oklahoma Sideroll resulted in a three count. Hodge grabbed his title belt and left, never giving Street another look.
LOU THESZ def. ANTONINO ROCCA
The debut of the man regarded as one of the greatest ever, Lou Thesz. Rocca had Thesz off balance at first with his speed, but Thesz was able to compensate. The two went back and forth but the Thesz press surprised Rocca and the three count came down.
MASKED SUPERSTAR I & II def. THE AXE ATTACK
Another battle between these two teams. Larry Hennig took on both masked opponents. Curt Hennig got caught in the backbreaker by Masked Superstar II and the match was over.
NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] DALLAS PAGE def. LARRY ZBYSZKO (ch)
The Living Legend never saw what hit him. Short match that saw Zbyszko start off in good shape. One move turned it around and Page immediately hit the Diamond Cutter to score the win and he replaces his Mexican heavyweight title with the World TV belt.
GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN def. DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
Ted DiBiase's men tried to pearl harbor their oppoenents, but they saw the attack coming and Jonathan fired Muraco into the ring post. He then picked him up for the Mormon Swing and scored the pinfall.
NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/U] BOB ORTON SR. (ch) def. TED DIBIASE
The fans are starting to side with Orton Sr. as he continues to defy the odds and win matches. Orton Jr. was at ringside and kept Muraco and Roop from getting in the ring in time. Orton was non-stop with move after move and cover after cover until beating DiBiase with an atomic drop.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH[/U] THE SHEIK def. BOBO BRAZIL
An all-out brawl as everyone expected. The Sheik tried to throw the fire but the two spilled outside. It was back and forth around the arena. The Sheik tossed the fire ball in the face of Bobo and took the fall on the floor.
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/U] ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN (ch) def. HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS
Race and Rogers finally get their shot at the tag team titles. They have been a great team for months now and hold the new North American tag team titles. Inoki took an early piledriver but held on. Rikidozan chopped Rogers down to the mat and got the pin. Rogers was livid saying his feet were on the ropes and replays confirmed it, but the Japanese team left with the belts.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/U] ANDRE THE GIANT def. MIL MASCARAS (ch)
The eighth wonder of the world waited a long time for his title shot, and was at his best here tonight. The Mexican legend won the title last May at the Cauliflower Cup, winning the tournament for the vacant championship. He made 11 title defenses over the last 11 months. Mascaras could get any sustained offense going against the big man. Andre kept the Luchador in the ring and just kept pounding on him over and over. The big splash came down and then the three count to signal a new world heavyweight champion!

It's only been one (game) year since the USWA closed its doors and expanded to become the North American Wrestling Association. What's going on now is that the USWA is returning!
The NWA is doing serious restructuring. The North American fed is retracted back into the USWA. Territories in Puerto Rico and Mexico are returning to promoting shows.
ICW is contracting back into a European based fed. Japan is still going strong while Canada will have its own wrestling organization.
The USWA is back and that means the return of the United States heavyweight championship and the U.S. tag team titles. For the first time there will also be a United States women's championship!
Look for announcements regarding the roster of wrestlers and the first show to be made soon.
