USWA GLORY #113 Jackson, MS March 12, 2119
BORIS ZHUKOV def. GEORGE SOUTH
South put up a good fight but a second diving headbutt from the Russian ended the match. Nikita Breznikov directed Zhukov and Nikolai Volkoff to continue the assault after the match, but then Al Snow ran down and into the ring.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF def. AL SNOW
The big Russian pounded and pummeled Al Snow, who gave it all he had. Breznikov tripped up Snow in the corner and Volkoff capitalized for the win.
ED LEWIS def. BUFF BAGWELL
Last week the Strangler got vicious, ramming Bagwell into the ring post and winning by countout. This week Lewis just took care of business in the ring. Bagwell could not escape the side headlock and eventually went out.
JIM LONDOS def. DICK HUTTON
Londos slammed Hutton down the mat and put him in the Boston Crab. Hutton could not escape and gave it up.
FRANK GOTCH def. RICK RUDE
At first Rude held Gotch off with his power advantage. Gotch soon got to work though, dropping Rude on his head outside the ring. Back inside the Gotch Toe Hold put him away.
MASKED SUPERSTAR II def. LARRY HENNIG
An awesome showcase of two big men just non-stop pounding on each other. An all-out slugfest as these teams will meet for the U.S. tag team titles at Wrestlemania III. The battle waged back and forth for a long time until Masked Superstar II got the backbreaker on again for the win (Hennig 4 coins).
CURT HENNIG def. MASKED SUPERSTAR I
Mr. Perfect evened the series between the teams. He didn't after twice with the Perfect Plex but still put Masked Superstar down for the three.
DON MURACO & BOB ROOP def. DESTROYER & DON LEO JONATHAN
A great tag team match that saw DiBiase's men really dominate the action. It was the Destroyer taking most of the punishment as the match progressed. Jonathan twice came in for the save but the Destroyer was beaten down too much to continue (Destroyer 6 coins).
MAGNUM T.A. def. THE MOUNTIE
The Mountie gave T.A. another beating like last week when he was disqualified for using the shock stick. Magnum was down and out but somehow came back and won with the Belly to Belly (Magnum 4 coins).
UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP CHRIS HERO def. BOBO BRAZIL (ch)
A stunning upset win as the ECW and the Mexican heavyweight champion made the most of his shot at the U.S. title. Bobo Brazil really pounded on Hero most of the match. Larry Sweeney didn't get involved though and Hero kept battling back. Several moves in a row and the Hero's Welcome brought him a third championship belt.
GIANT BABA def. TED DIBIASE
Baba puts DiBiase down hard with two Neckbreaker Drops for the pin. He was then attacked by Don Muraco and Bob Roop.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN def. ROAD WARRIORS and HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS
Exactly who will challenge Inoki and Rikidozan for the world tag team titles at Wrestlemania III is still up in the air. This match was never ending action in and out of the ring. Rikidozan was awesome, landing all his finishers on every opponent. Hawk was the last one to feel is wrath, taking thunderous chops over and over until being pinned.

One week before Wrestlemania III and USWA Glory brings you a huge show.
A 10-man battle royal will determine the challenger for the United States heavyweight title, after ECW and MWE champion Chris Hero stunned everyone by taking the belt from Bobo Brazil.
The main event is a steel cage match and the winners will face Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan for the World tag team titles at Wrestlemania III. The Road Warriors and Harley Race and Buddy Rogers have yet to see who is the best and this cage match will do just that.

USWA GLORY #114 Erie, PA March 19, 2119
BOLSHEVIKS def. AL SNOW & GEORGE SOUTH
A good opener as South and Snow did find some offense and put up a good fight. Zhukov landed his big headbutt to pin Snow.
CURT HENNIG def. MASKED SUPERSTAR II
A great match as the teams vying for the U.S. tag team titles next week at Wrestlemania III continue their series of singles matches. The big man pummeled Hennig in and out of the ring. Hennig Perfect Plexed him twice, and then used the Axe to get the pin. Masked Superstar I charged in for a double team, but so did Larry Hennig and the bell rang for the next match.
LARRY HENNIG def. MASKED SUPERSTAR I
The Axe tore thru the Masked Superstar. "The Axe" leveled the masked man for the win.
ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN def. DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
The world tag team champions looked good as they wait to see who wins the main event to be their challengers at Wrestlemania III. Inoki kicked out after the Hawaiian Hammer, and Rikidozan came in. His thunderous chops sent Roop down for the three.
10-MAN BATTLE ROYAL U.S. TITLE NO. 1 CONTENDER (Mountie, Rick Rude, Buff Bagwell, Dick Hutton, Ted DiBiase, Bobo Brazil, Ed Lewis, Destroyer, Don Leo Jonathan, Magnum T.A.)
Old rivalries renewed and ended quickly when the Destroyer tossed out the Mountie. Buff Bagwell outposed Rick Rude and eliminated the Ravishing One. Magnum T.A. flipped Don Leo Jonathan out of the ring in the corner. The Destroyer got rid of DiBiase's lackey Dick Hutton. Ed Lewis and Magnum teamed up to eliminate Bagwell. The Strangler then threw out the Destroyer. Bobo Brazil battled DiBiase a long time before headbutting him out of the ring. Lewis was on the verge of dumping Magnum when Bobo came over and knocked him out to the floor. Magnum sent Bobo over the top rope with a flying forearm to win the battle royal and a shot at the U.S. title at Wrestlemania III!
Winner: Magnum T.A.
STEEL CAGE MATCH ROAD WARRIORS def. HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS
A spectacular match that determined who would get the world tag team title shot at Wrestlemania III. An all-time classic as every man turned it up a notch. The LOD were able to use the Doomsday Device but the save was made. Rogers and Race used their finishers but the Road Warriors kept the match going. After a long, grueling match the Hawk was able to pin Rogers to get a rematch for the belts (Rogers 5 coins).

WRESTLEMANIA III Pittsburgh, PA March 26, 2119
Truly the biggest extravaganza in wrestling today. Wrestlemania! Every major promotion in the world today is represented in what should prove to be the undisputed best wrestling event of the year.
MWE TRIOS TITLES BEST 2/3 FALLS[/b] FOREIGN LEGION def. TIGER MASK, JUSHIN LIGER, MIKE QUACKENBUSH (ch), 2-0
The opening fall didn't take too long as all the wrestlers got into the match except Quackenbush. The Iron Sheik continued to work over Tiger Mask, the Liger came in. He set Liger up for the Tequila Sunrise by Konnan and the three count came down for the first fall. The match continued with the Foreign Legion able to ground their cruiserweight opponents. The champs never got things turned around but kept the match going on sheer guts. Tiger Mask fought to reach the ropes in the Camel Clutch, but the Iron Sheik used a loaded boot to stun him for the three count to win the Mexican Trios Titles.
TITLE FOR TITLE[/b] SABU (ECW TV ch) def. LES THATCHER (MWE Light-hwt. ch)
Sabu exploded at the start but missed the Triple Jump Moonsault. He missed it a second time during the match and Thatcher was really just holding off the onslaught of Sabu. The third time with the Triple Jump Moonsault finally put Thatcher away and Sabu is the new Mexican Light-heavyweight champion!
IWWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] REGGIE BENNETT & YUMI FUKAWA def. DANGEROUS ANGELS (ch)
The ladies did not disappoint in turning in an awesome match at Wrestlemania III. Bennett and Fukawa put it all together in this match and are the new tag team champions. Del Rey took a great deal of punishment, then Danger was unable to turn things around and she was in very bad shape. The champs have guts and determination, never backing down. Bennett got rid of Del Rey and the cross arm breaker by Yumi finally forced Danger to tap out. The Dangerous Angels were just short of four months with the belts, making six title defenses.
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] ADRIAN STREET def. DANNY HODGE (ch)
Another title change and huge upset. Miss Linda played a big role in Street getting the win, but he went move for move with Hodge. Both had shots at winning but Street used his valets help to put a long string of moves together and win with the Crucifix. The four-month, one week reign for Hodge comes to an end.
IWWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/B] MADUSA MICELI (ch) def. PRINCESS VICTORIA
A battle royal win garnered the title shot for Princess Victoria. Madusa was having nothing of it and pummeled Victoria the entire match. The Indian princess had heart but that wasn't enough. A back suplex put her down for the pin.
DON MURACO & BOB ROOP def. GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN by D.Q.
Our first match without a title at stake. Ted DiBiase's men have been doing their job quite well in the USWA and Baba and Jonathan both had a grievious to file against the duo. Jonathan got carried away outside the ring with a steel chair on Roop to bring about the disqualification.
WWC NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS def. MONGOLS (ch)
Race and Rogers were unable to collect the world tag team title shot tonight over the Road Warriors. This started as a challenge match but was then signed with the titles on the line, even though Race and Rogers have yet to appear in Puerto Rico. Race took on Bepo for a time and turned him over to the Nature Boy. Captain Lou Albano came out to ringside and it looked like he handed something into the ring and Rogers may have adjusted his knee pad as a huge knee smash busted the face of Bepo and he was pinned, bringing the belts to Race and Rogers.
TITLE FOR TITLE BARBED WIRE MATCH[/U] BOB ORTON SR. (WWC Hardcore ch) def. IVAN KOLOFF (WWC Universal ch)
Another gigantic win for Orton. He stole an upset win over the Russian Bear to become the new Universal champion.
DOG COLLAR MATCH GREG VALENTINE def. ANGELO MOSCA
The Hammer hit ICW to help his dad against Kowalski and Mosca as the feud really picked up intensity. Mosca wrapped his big hand in the chain for the heart punch. Valentine came back and tied Mosca's legs up with the chain and put the figure four leglock on for the win.
THREE-WAY DANCE ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BRISCOES def. BRENT ALBRIGHT & ADAM PEARCE and AMERICAN WOLVES (ch)
An unbelievable first fall. A very long time with ungodly amounts of action. The Briscoes were unstoppable as they destroyed all four opponents. Finally the Wolves and Pearce and Albright found some offense to try and come back. The Doomsday Device by the Briscoes crushed Pearce for the first elimination. Great back and forth action from there to the end. Both teams crushing the other with high-risk and finishing moves. The Briscoes went on a tear with a series of moves and the Cut-Throat Drive on Eddie Edwards finished him off. The Briscoes are the new ECW tag team champions.
NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] LARRY ZBYSZKO (ch) def. ROB VAN DAM
The Living Legend really controlled the action. RVD kicked out of two piledrivers. Bobby Heenan shoved Van Dam off the top rope, sparking a chase on the outside with the Brain and Bill Alfonso. Zbyszko finished off Van Dam with a sleeper.
UNITED STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] THE AXE ATTACK (ch) def. MASKED SUPERSTAR I & II by C.O.
The war between these teams is not over yet. All four wrestled their best match and this one went on and on with all kinds of near falls and interference. Masked Superstar I was counted out after being Perfect Plexed on the floor (Hennigs 8 coins, MSI 4 coins).
ANDRE THE GIANT def. JIMMY SNUKA
A special challenge match between the Giant and the Superfly, who have been tag partners in the past. Snuka started out fast but the Giant put a stop to him. After a corner squash the big splash ended the night for Snuka.
TORNADO STREET FIGHT MATCH[/B] THE SHEIK & TERRIBLE TURK def. CARLOS COLON & BRUISER BRODY
All four men in and out of the ring at once made for a hugely chaotic situation. Brody battled it out with the Turk while Colon and the Shiek went toe to toe. The Sheik threw the fire ball at Colon and the match was over.
$25,000/U.S. TITLE SHOT LADDER MATCH[/b] TED DIBIASE def. BOBO BRAZIL
The Million Dollar Man did not let this opportunity to secure a U.S. title match go by. Bobo briefly had the offense but DiBiase took over. Bobo was on the defensive the rest of the way and wouldn't give up. He constantly kept DiBiase from getting up the ladder. Finally the Million $ Dream put Bobo down enough for DiBiase to climb the ladder and grab the money and the contract (Bobo 8 coins).
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE INTERCONTINENTAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH[/b] KILLER KOWALSKI (ch) def. JOHNNY VALENTINE
Nearly the entire match was spent outside the ring. Valentine had the offense at first, using his finisher in the aisle. After that it was a brutal Kowalski taking over and battering Valentine all around the arena until getting the pin.
INTERCONTINENTAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP FINISHER MATCH[/b] STEVE WILLIAMS & TERRY GORDY def. NEW AGE OUTLAWS (ch)
Terry Gordy planted Billy Gunn with a piledriver for the three count to win back the I-C tag team titles.
UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] CHRIS HERO (ch) def. MAGNUM T.A.
This has to be the biggest win for Chris Hero, despite his holding the U.S., ECW and MWE heavyweight titles. This was an outstanding match between two top competitors. Back and forth they went over and over but it was Hero pulling out the win with the Hero's Welcome.
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN (ch) def. ROAD WARRIORS
One more classic between these teams. The LOD landed the Doomsday Device early on but the Japanese duo broke up the pin and managed to turn the tide of the match after that. Hawk and Animal battled as they always do. Inoki landed a top rope knee drop on Animal to score the three count.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] MIL MASCARAS (ch) def. NICK BOCKWINKEL
The main event saw the world champion take the fight to the challenger. Bockwinkel stuggled to turn the tide. Mascaras used the top rope over and over, coming down with a splash to score the pinfall.

USWA GLORY #115 Huntington, W.Va April 2, 2119
RICK RUDE def. BUFF BAGWELL
A short match here as the Ravishing One wasted no time. In short order he put Bagwell down with the Rude Awakening.
JIMMY SNUKA def. AL SNOW
Al Snow missed a charge in the corner and fell to the outside. That allowed Snuka to set him up for the Superfly Leap to end the match.
FRANK GOTCH def. MOUNTIE
The first competitive match of the night. Gotch dominated but couldn't put the Mountie away. It took awhile but he finally forced a submission out of the Mountie (5 coins).
BOBO BRAZIL def. ED LEWIS
A great bout between two top fan favorites. Lewis early on had the advantage with the headlock. Then it was Bobo with headbutts over and over. The match went back and forth, power for power until Bobo finally won with a headbutt (Lewis 5 coins).
THE AXE ATTACK, GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN def. MASKED SUPERSTARS I & II, DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
A super fast ending as Baba decked Roop with a boot in the corner and the neckbreaker drop ended the match. All eight man hit the ring for a wild free for all.
TED DIBIASE def. JIM LONDOS
The Million $ Man - U.S. title No. 1 contender - had a great battle with the Golden Greek. DiBiase started take over but Londos wouldn't go down to the sleeper. DiBiase blocked a neckbreaker and a suplex put Londos down for the count (Londos 5 coins).
In the ring: Bobby the Brain Heenan stunned everyone when he walked out to the ring and took the mic. The manager hasn't been in the USWA for a very long time. He called out the former Intercontinental tag team champions the New Age Outlaws and announced he had secured a shot at the WWC North American tag team titles right here tonight!
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS (ch) def. NEW AGE OUTLAWS
This surprising title match saw the new champs take care of business. The Outlaws struggled to slow the veterans down and felt both finishers. Race finished off Billy Gunn with a headbutt.

USWA GLORY #116 Washington, D.C. April 9, 2119
BORIS ZHUKOV def. AL SNOW
The big Russian looked really good in this outing. Snow didn't have much go his way and Zhukov beat him down and then a diving headbutt ended the match. Zhukov kept pounding away on Snow after the bell when the Destroyer ran into the ring. Nikolai Volkoff followed and the bell rang again.
DESTROYER def. NIKOLAI VOLKOFF
This was an outstanding battle that was non-stop from bell to bell. Volkoff wrestled one of his best matches ever but the Destroyer matched him at every move in and out of the ring. Nikita Breznikov tried to help but Volkoff inadvertently hit him off the apron and the Destroyer jumped on him for the three count (Volkoff 4 coins).
ED LEWIS def. DICK HUTTON
It didn't take long for the Strangler to care of Hutton with his devastating side headlock.
JIM LONDOS def. THE MOUNTIE
The Mountie for a short while was in the match. Londos took over and dissected the Canadian with his finishers over and over until winning with the Airplane Spin (Mountie 5 coins).
MAGNUM T.A. & BOBO BRAZIL def. MASKED SUPERSTAR I & II
An awesome tag team battle. Magnum and Bobo were both eliminated in the first round of the North American title tournament last week in Puerto Rico. The Masked Superstars dominated for a long time. Then it was Bobo and Magnum taking over and dishing out the punishment. Bobo managed to down Masked Superstar II with another headbutt.
RICK RUDE def. FRANK GOTCH
The Ravishing One was way more intense and focused then in recent weeks. Gotch looked good at first but Rude took over. Gotch kicked out repeatedly from the Rude Awakening but Rude never let up and piledrove him for the three count.
GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN def. DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
A rematch from Wrestlemania III. Muraco and Baba started it out. It was DLJ with Mormon Swing three times before Muraco tried to do something about it. He was hurled to the floor and a big boot from Baba put Roop down.
TED DIBIASE def. JIMMY SNUKA by D.Q.
The Superfly got carried away and wouldn't stop beating DiBiase with a chair.
NEW AGE OUTLAWS def. ROAD WARRIORS
These teams continued their war despite the LOD not carrying the World tag team title with them. Hawk and Animal completely destroyed the Outlaws but did not get the win. Billy Gunn turned Animal over to the Road Dogg. The Pump Handle Slam brought them a big-time win as the Outlaws will be in the North American tag team title tournament starting tomorrow in Puerto Rico.
TITLE FOR TITLE HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS def. THE AXE ATTACK
An all-time classic that will go down as one of the greatest matches in wrestling history. This bout went over 45 minutes of unbelievable action. Twice Curt Hennig took the finisher from Race and Rogers, but his father broke it up and a four-way melee ensued. Each time it was the Hennigs coming out on top. Race and Rogers were on fire though and never letup. It was Curt Hennig that took most of the beating and after his dad was tossed out another Piledriver by Race put him away for good. Race and Rogers take the U.S. tag titles and add them to their North American belts. Each team is in the tournament to determine new North American tag team champions taking place in Puerto Rico (Curt Hennig 6 coins).

USWA GLORY #117 The Scope Norfolk, VA April 16, 2119
DESTROYER def. BORIS ZHUKOV
The Russian took over early and had Destroyer down with a diving headbutt. The Destroyer quickly turned the match around with the sleeper and then the figure four leglock.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF def. FRANK GOTCH
What a big-time win for the Russian. Gotch was all over Volkoff working over the legs and arms. Volkoff somehow came back and this match turned into a real back and forth contest. Volkoff's power eventually carried him to the win.
NEW AGE OUTLAWS def. SAMOAN ISLAND TRIBE
The Samoans had something going for them but Billy Gunn hit Alofa off the ropes and grabbed a three count.
ED LEWIS def. JIM LONDOS
The Strangler grabbed hold of Londos and never let go of the side headlock.
BOBO BRAZIL def. JIMMY SNUKA
A weird one for the fans as they like both wrestlers. They went back and forth but it was Bobo who took control and eventually wore the Supefly down and won with the headbutt.
NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] LARRY ZBYSZKO (ch) def. MAGNUM T.A.
An absolutely phenomenal title match. The 20 minute time limit nearly expired. Bobby Heenan made his presence known and now Magnum not only has the Million $ Corporation to deal with but also the Heenan Family. A great match ended just before the bell would have rung with Zbyszko hanging on to his TV title.
GIANT BABA & DON LEO JONATHAN def. ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN
A non-title match and the world tag team champions went down. A really good, even back and forth match. The champs did control things but the two big men wouldn't go down easy. Jonathan put the Mormon Swing on Inoki and picked up the big win.
MIL MASCARAS def. RICK RUDE
Another non-title match and the world champ dispatched of Rude in short order. The Ravishing One tried to jump start the match and took Mil outside. The champ quickly came back and was too fast for Rude, winning off the top rope.

Your USWA is a very good read and fed Ty, I have to say seeing Larry Zbyszko winning over Magnum T.A. is a good surprise and I like the tandem of DLJ and Baba...
