Coming tomorrow night is an article highlighting the big COTG Tournament of Champions and the Legends Hall of Fame sets. As part of the article the 16 all time characters in the set will be named. There will be 3 bonus cards, including Orrus beyond those 16 amalgamation cards. I think many questions will be answered then.

So these ARE best of cards then? That's pretty sick.

So these ARE best of cards then? That's pretty sick. Indeed. These are the optimum versions of each of these all time greats.

I've got a dumb question. Is it too late to change a pre-order for this and the legends set from physical cards to online? I'm guessing it is, but it never hurts to ask.

Is it too much to wish that the September items were mailed out this weekend instead of waiting until mid-week to mail them out? After all, "Late September" could cover any time from the 25th through the 30th.

I'm interested to hear the story on the "amalgamation" of the wrestlers. It sounds like Godsend did his own mash-up of these all time greats. And naturally I hope Pegasus is part of the set. We'll find out soon.
Is this really going to be a limited edition?

It sounds like Godsend did his own mash-up of these all time greats. This is a good way to look at it. We talked about them a little bit at GCON - but what we did was take every card a guy had and tried to incorporate the best or most famous parts of each one. So in a sense, these guys are better than their primes. Literally the Best of their careers are reflected in their stats.

After all, "Late September" could cover any time from the 25th through the 30th. Unfortunately it may be too much to ask this time. September 30th is the earliest mailing date at this point, but barring a major catastrophe cards will be all mailed by this weekend. You have my promise to get out everything as soon as I can once everything is received from the printer.
