I've not seen such an upset since Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George owned them for me back in the day. Nice to see DiBiase grab some gold as well.

Very cool that Vampiro was able to recover from his disappointing loss to Al Snow to pick up a much needed win over Hugh Morrus on the last show.
Black Glove DiBiase makes a wicked heel and I'm hoping he has a decent run with the top belt... Fun stuff!

Card 11 - Augusta Armory, Augusta ME
The World Champion is in action in our main event so Dr. Mike Lano has taken a position at ringside.
Angelo Poffo def. B.G. James with a NECKBREAKER - * ½. The opening few minutes were a stalemate before Poffo took control of this one landing his finisher back to back to get the three count from Morgan Dollar.
Sherri Martel def. Malia Hosaka by disqualification when took a chair from Martel and cracked her across the back with it- **. Martel looked like she may walk away with an easy victory in this one by Hosaka kicked out after a TOP ROPE SPLASH and began a long comeback working her way through her offensive moveset including several kicks, chops and a FRANKENSTEINER that drove Martel to desperation grabbing a chair leading to the finish.
Hugh Morrus def. Pampero Firpo with NO LAUGHING MATTER -- *. Morrus welcomed Firpo to the territory with a thrashing limiting Firpo to just a handful of offensive moves before landing his finisher.
Killer Kowalski def. Fit Finlay with a KOWALSKI CLAW - **. The story in this one was a relentless attack from Kowalski and Finlay narrowly finding ways to stay alive before finally succumbing to his opponent’s finisher.
The Flying Redheads def. Sheepherders when Red Bastien used a deathjump crossbody to pin Butch Miller-* ¾. The Sheepherders got under the skin of Morgan Dollar before the bell and the official was anything but pleased. The Redheads capitalized and dominated the action with their speed and precision tagging. Some timely interference and other antics prolonged the match but the Redheads had too much skill tonight.
Jimmy Snuka def. Abdullah The Butcher in an Augusta Street Fight with a SUPERFLY LEAP - ****. The action did not stay in the ring long as both men brawled in to the crowd and around the Armory. There was plenty of blood, weapons and mayhem before Snuka slammed Butcher in the middle of the ring and took flight as Dr. Mike Lano captured the finish from ringside.
King Kong Bundy & World Champion Ted DiBiase def. Larry Hennig & Diamond Dallas Page when DiBiase used a FULL POWER SLAM on Hennig - *** ½. Great tag team match in the main event that nearly ended much earlier when Hennig caught Bundy with THE AXE. DiBiase was a force and picked up a controversial near fall after a what appeared to be a LOADED GLOVE punch that left Page a bloody mess. The finish came when DiBiase weakened Hennig with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and then hit his power slam finisher back to back for the three count from Morgan Dollar.

I've not seen such an upset since Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George owned them for me back in the day. Nice to see DiBiase grab some gold as well. Rose and George had moderate success for me as well back in the day. Not sure if they can hold back the Warriors a second time when they meet on Card 15 in a return bout at MSG. The dice have been hot for DiBiase recently.

Black Glove DiBiase makes a wicked heel and I'm hoping he has a decent run with the top belt... Fun stuff! Totally agree with your thoughts on DiBiase and his black glove card. I anticipate he will deal with Page in their return bout at MSG (best of three falls!) and then be ready for a fresh challenger. Not sure who that will be.

Card 12 The Arena, Hammonton, NJ
The Vachons def. Too Cool by disqualification when the official took exception to Brian Christopher’s pin save - * ½. The speed of the Too Cool proved difficult for the Vachons to counter but the Algerian duo eventually cut off Scott Taylor and looked to have victory in hand after Mad Dog Vachon executed his PILEDRIVER finisher which prompted the reaction from Christopher.
Vampiro def. Al Snow w/Head with NAIL IN THE COFFIN - * ½. Snow looked to have things in control and in fact connected with back to back SNOW PLOWS but Vampiro seized back control sending Snow into the ring post and then finishing him minutes later in the middle of the ring.
The Glamour Girls def. Nora Greenwald & Susan Green when Leilani Kia used a RUNNING SPLASH on Susan Green - *. An early mistake by Susan Green resulted in the Glamour Girls gaining control of the action. They never let Green out of the ring from that point and a double team gut buster set up Kai’s finisher.
Larry Hennig def. King Kong Bundy with THE AXE - * ½. The finish of this one was off the charts as Bundy came off the second rope but Hennig turned Bundy’s momentum against him for a power slam that nearly broke the ring! Bundy kicked out of the cover but Hennig followed up with his finisher for the win.
Diamond Dallas Page & Barry Windham def. Foreign Legion with Diamond Dallas Page used a discuss clothesline on Nikolai Volkoff - * ¾. The fans really gave it to the Foreign Legion from the outset and Page & Windham built on that support and dominated most of the action with Windham looking very impressive during his time in the ring with only key pin saves saving Volkoff after a pair of SWEETWATER SUPERPLEXS.
Fit Finlay & Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering def. Angelo Poffo & Texas Hangmen when Animal pinned Psycho with a POWER SLAM - *. Finlay was cut off early and took a beating by all three of his opponents but managed to whip Psycho into the ring post during a brawl on the floor. The Warriors took over from that point and the pin save was blocked as Animal hooked the leg for the win.
Jimmy Snuka def. Abdullah The Butcher with a SUPERFLY LEAP in a Falls Count Anywhere Match - ****. Another wild battle between these two went all around the arena. Both men bled profusely and Butcher was slammed through the souvenir stand and later through the ringside table. Superfly needed three leaps from the top before Butcher would stay down for the three count.

Snuka vs Abdullah looked fun. Vampiro seems to be turning it around a bit.

Pleased that Vampiro managed to get that win back against Snow... Hoping for a rubber match between the two...
And I really like the pairing of DDP & Windham... They have the potential to make some serious waves in the tag team division...
Fun stuff!

Snuka vs Abdullah looked fun. Vampiro seems to be turning it around a bit. Snuka and Butcher was fun to roll out. I have not used the Falls Count Anywhere chart in some time and this was a great way to bring back the match. Vampiro will need to find consistency in order to stick around the top ten.

They have the potential to make some serious waves in the tag team division... Fun stuff! The return match between Snow and Vampiro will be part of the next MSG show (Card 15). DDP and Windham have been a fun tag team to use. However, committing them full time tag team action leaves a significant hole in singles contenders list.
