Styles vs Valentine will be a classic battle of opposite styles. Will Valentine be able to slow AJ down or will AJ force the tempo? Bockwinkel and Dibiase is a team that makes me wish these matches were on YouTube.

Styles vs Valentine will be a classic battle of opposite styles. Will Valentine be able to slow AJ down or will AJ force the tempo? Bockwinkel and Dibiase is a team that makes me wish these matches were on YouTube. I thought AJ needed a stiff warmup heading onto his match against The Destroyer at Over The Edge... Who better than The Hammer? Especially with Valentine's growing animosity towards The Destroyer and his use of the Figure Four. Bockwinkel and DiBiase have both been steadily climbing the rankings... Should be fun to watch them coordinate their efforts against two beastly competitors like Brody and Snuka. Totally appreciate the excellent feedback, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Pro Class Wrestling Association WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHIPLASH! Episode #13, Year 1, Mar-28 Manhattan Center, New York, NY
Commentary: Paul Ellering and Trish Stratus
RED ARMY (Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff w/ Rock Riddle) def. WYLD BOYZ (Marty Jannetty & Randy Rose) via count-out. - With slick teamwork, the Boyz kept their opponents guessing in this fast paced encounter. Jannetty hit Zhukov with a ROCKER DROPPER, but interference by Riddle prevented him from attempting a cover. The Boyz chased Riddle around the ringside area, failing to pay attention to the referee's count in the process. - Tokens: Rose 1 - Zhukov 4 - Cornering Riddle on the floor, the Boyz left themselves open to a blindside assault. The rival teams continued to brawl into the backstage area and although Red Army now held two technical victories over the Boyz, nothing was settled in this feud.
Backstage: Ted DiBaise met with Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel to discuss the upcoming main event match between them and the wild pairing of Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka. When asked if King Kong Bundy would be joining them, DiBiase replied the big man had the night off. Heenan remained confident that his client could handle his share of the workload as long as DiBiase offered an equal contribution. DiBiase adjusted his black glove, stating that Brody and Snuka will not know what hit them.
AJ STYLES def. GREG VALENTINE (w/ Brutus Beefcake) via pinfall. - Both men delivered a hard hitting performance in this grueling affair. Beefcake tried to help his partner, but Styles wiped him out of the equation with a Pele kick on the apron. Styles pinned Valentine with a STYLES CLASH to keep his undefeated streak intact. - Tokens: Styles 2 - Valentine 4 - Styles was suffered an injury and will be out of action for 2 weeks. As a result, his upcoming match against The Destroyer at Over The Edge will have to be postponed. Commissioner Dillon announced a replacement match for the event - The Destroyer vs. Greg Valentine.
Backstage: Recalling what took place last week during his own match against Jackie Fargo when Hacksaw Jim Duggan tried to intervene, Bobo Brazil said he was very interested to watch the upcoming Big Apple Street Fight between the two fierce competitors.
JACKIE FARGO def. HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN via pinfall in a Big Apple Street Fight. - This was a brief, but brutal encounter that spilled out to the floor just moments after the opening bell. After slamming Duggan through a ringside table, Fargo planted him with an ATOMIC DROP to get a three count in the middle of wreckage. - Tokens: Fargo 1 - Commissioner Dillon was a little disappointed this contest did not quite deliver on its potential. After being reminded of the conflict that occurred last week, he announced one final match for Over The Edge - Bobo Brazil vs. Jackie Fargo vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a Triple Threat match.
Backstage: Bobby Heenan was preparing to head to the ring for the upcoming match pitting his client, Nick Bockwinkel, and Ted DiBiase against the team of Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka. He was interrupted by an unexpected intrusion. Snuka grabbed Heenan and shoved him towards Brody, who lifted the smaller man off his feet. Telling Heenan there would be no funny business during the main event, Brody tossed him into a maintenance closet and locked the door.
NICK BOCKWINKEL & TED DIBIASE def. BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA via submission. - Bockwinkel was taken a little off guard at first by the absence of his manager, Bobby Heenan. Relying on crooked tactics, DiBiase gained the advantage and nailed Snuka with a LOADED GLOVE for a near fall. Snuka had difficulty shaking off the cobwebs, leaving Brody alone to fight both opponents. Bockwinkel jumped into the mix on a blind tag and caught Brody in a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER, keeping it clamped on until the referee called for the bell. - Tokens: DiBiase 1 - Snuka 2 - With great momentum heading into their individual matches, Bockwinkel and DiBiase vowed to put Brody and Snuka in the rear view mirrors at Over The Edge.

Nice to see Styles and Fargo coming out on top in their matches. Of course, I was pretty pleased that AJ racked up another win (to keep his undefeated streak going)... Unfortunately, he suffered a minor injury and will miss his big match against The Destroyer at Over The Edge... Oh, snap!

AJ missing a match against the Destroyer means only one thing...A good night for the Destroyer. And the possibility of turning up the heat in this new rivalry between The Destroyer and The Hammer... Would love to see one of the win using the Figure Four... Talk about adding insult to injury! HA!
