You see what happens?!?! I get put into quarantine and get full blown covid a week later...and you already have an established (and brand new) fed. You sir are machine! Here are my predictions (as always- take them with a grain of salt): The Destroyer Triple Threat: Bobo Brazil David Taylor & Gorgeous George Barry Windham Midnight Express Miracle Violence Connection (c) Best of 3 Falls: Lou Thesz Nick Bockwinkel Steel Cage: Ted DiBiase Extreme Rules: Harley Race Great line up btw! Those are some solid picks, my friend... Hope all is well with you and your family... This pandemic is a nasty piece of work, to be sure... I'm incredibly fortunate to reside where I do as we've pretty much gone untouched. I've been having a blast with this latest Legends reboot... Using lots of enhancement charts to keep the surprises rolling (even for myself)... And this upcoming show is really no exception... Hoping to post later today... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Bockwinkel vs Brody will leave the crowd so worn out they may not be able to find their way out of the arena.

Bockwinkel vs Brody will leave the crowd so worn out they may not be able to find their way out of the arena. With all the excellent talent that FG has provided, it's difficult to place 'cool down' matches on a supercard... I prefer to throttle up the engine and let everyone experience the need for speed! HAHA!

Pro Class Wrestling Association OVER THE EDGE Year 1, Mar-30 Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, NJ
Commentary: Paul Ellering and Trish Stratus
THE DESTROYER def. GREG VALENTINE (w/ Brutus Beefcake) via submission. - Overcoming a slow start, Destroyer bounced back and turned this into a crowd pleasing spectacle. He softened up Valentine with a Bombs Away and took out Beefcake with a flying forearm when he tried to interfere. To add insult to injury, Valentine tapped out to Destroyer's version of his own signature FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. - Tokens: Destroyer 2 - Valentine 4 - AJ Styles was witnessed in attendance, sincerely applauding for the winner. Showing off his heavily bandaged ribs, Styles remarked that he was eager to return to action in order to put his skills to the test against The Destroyer.
Backstage: The PCWA Global Heavyweight Champion, Randy Savage, arrived with his manager, Sherri Martel. Refusing to answer any questions, he whispered a few words to the title belt on his shoulder before heading into the locker rooms. Martel looked around at the people gathered to greet the champion and screamed at them to give the Macho Man some privacy.
JACKIE FARGO def. HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN and BOBO BRAZIL in a Triple Threat match. - All three men were pushed to the point of exhaustion before this bloody conflict reached its conclusion. Duggan blasted Fargo with a FLYING SPEAR, but the momentum carried both men through the ropes and crashing to the floor. Gaining the upper hand, Brazil got into position to chokeslam both men through a ringside table. Fargo thwarted his attempt with a mule kick below the belt. Giving Brazil no chance to recover, Fargo scored the pinfall on Duggan after bashing him in the face with his own 2X4. - Tokens: Fargo 5 - Duggan 7 - Brazil 5
JERRY LYNN & ROB VAN DAM (w/ Melina) def. DAVID TAYLOR & GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) via pinfall. - The biggest challenge for Lynn and RVD turned out to be their lack of communication. With Melina constantly egging him onward, RVD tried to reap the glory for himself until he got into serious trouble. Reaching in for the hot tag, Lynn ripped into both opponents. Taylor displayed a lot of resiliency, but Lynn put him away with a springboard dropkick. - Tokens: RVD 3 - Taylor 6, George 2 - Melina was not impressed that Lynn failed to tag RVD back into the match for a dynamic finish. Following his manager's lead, RVD left the ring without offering his partner any recognition on a job well done.
Backstage: Once again, Commissioner Dillon tried to approach Blackjack Mulligan to arrange a private meeting. Mulligan backed Dillon into a wall and told him to make his proposals elsewhere unless he wanted to wind up on the wrong end of a beatdown.
BARRY WINDHAM (w/ Blackjack Mulligan) def. TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ Curt Hennig) via disqualification. - Unleashing the pent up aggression of the past few months, these two combatants charged at each other before the opening bell. Windham launched Blanchard over the top rope, taking the brutal exchange to the floor. Gaining the upper hand, Blanchard made a quick gesture to his ringside ally. Hennig handed a leather belt to Blanchard, who used the foreign object to strangle Windham in plain view of the referee. - Tokens: n/a - Blanchard continued his assault while Hennig kept an eye on Mulligan. Instead of helping his son, Mulligan shouted at him to fight back. Security finally arrived to pull Blanchard away from his victim. Rolling his eyes, Mulligan helped Windham walk to the backstage area for medical treatment.
ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) def. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey w/ Jim Cornette) via pinfall. - With a place near the top of the rankings at stake, this was a seesaw battle that delivered several heart pounding spots. Midnight Express stunned Hawk with a Double Goozle for a near fall. A moment later, Animal executed a flying shoulder ram that caused Eaton to stumble into Condrey and send him crashing out to the floor. Hawk grabbed Eaton and put him down hard with a gorilla press slam for a three count. - Tokens: Animal 1, Hawk 3 - Eaton 2, Condrey 1 - Cornette jumped into the ring to dispute the final call by the referee and was cornered by the Road Warriors. The duo attacked Cornette and positioned him for a DOOMSDAY DEVICE, but Midnight Express managed to pull him to safety.
Backstage: Commissioner Dillon pulled Jerry Lynn aside to acknowledge his performance earlier on the show. Dillon thought Lynn and Rob Van Dam made an exciting pair and asked if they might consider working together again. Replying with a chuckle, Lynn told Dillon that he should probably be asking Melina that question.
MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION (Steve Williams & Terry Gordy) def. FLYING TIGERS (Tiger Conway Jr & Tiger Conway Sr) via pinfall in a PCWA Global Tag Team Championship match. - The Tigers earned this title shot with a technical decision over MVC in a non-title match and were eager to prove they deserved the chance. It appeared the champions might be in trouble until they stopped their challengers cold. After crushing Tiger Jr with a double football tackle, MVC switched focus to Tiger Sr and Gordy finished him with a POWERBOMB. - Tokens: Gordy 1 - TigerJr 2, TigerSr 3 Miracle Violence Connection retained the PCWA Global Tag Team Championship. - This was a successful version three title defense.
Backstage: Commissioner Dillon tracked down Rob Van Dam to discuss the possibility of him continuing his partnership with Jerry Lynn. Injecting herself into the conversation, Melina said that future pursuits would have to promote the career of the Whole F'n Show. Having no argument, Dillon informed Melina that he wanted Lynn and RVD to team up for a potential run at the PCWA Global Tag Team Championship. With bright eyes, Melina told the commissioner to make it happen.
LOU THESZ def. IRON SHEIK (w/ Rock Riddle) in a Best of 3 Falls match. - 1st fall: Sheik was disqualified due to outside interference. - 2nd fall: Thesz pinned Sheik with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. - Riddle was ejected from ringside after the first fall for blatantly attacking Thesz to prevent him from pinning Sheik with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. Without missing a beat, Thesz resumed his technically superior assault for a shut out victory. This evened the score between these two rivals with each holding a single win over the other. - Tokens: Thesz 3 - Sheik 5
NICK BOCKWINKEL (w/ Bobby Heenan) def. BRUISER BRODY via submission. - This fierce back and forth exchange almost ended when Brody hit Bockwinkel with a JUMPING KNEE DROP. Heenan interrupted the count and tried to slip Bockwinkel a roll of coins to use as a weapon. Brody intercepted the foreign object and nailed Heenan, spilling coins all over the mat. Taking advantage of the situation, Bockwinkel jumped Brody from behind and put him down with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. - Tokens: Bockwinkel 2 - Brody 2 - Heenan exclaimed that his client continues to defeat everyone that gets in his way. If anyone deserves a title shot, it must be the most talented man in the ring.
Backstage: Blackjack Mulligan stormed into Commissioner Dillon's office to demand a match against Tully Blanchard. Finding it ironic that Mulligan would show up under these circumstances after he had tried so many times to arrange such a meeting, Dillon just smiled. He understood that Mulligan would want revenge against Blanchard for trying to strangle Barry Windham earlier on the show, but it was not going to happen. In fact, Dillon said that Windham would have his own chance for revenge because he would be facing Blanchard in a Big Apple Street Fight on the next episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash!
JIMMY SNUKA def. TED DIBIASE via pinfall in a Steel Cage match. - With nowhere to run, DiBiase was unable to find his footing against Superfly. Wasting no movement, Snuka unleashed a wicked series of high impact moves. Snuka sent DiBiase crashing hard against the cage and then caught him on the rebound with a flying head butt for the win. - Tokens: DiBiase 2
Backstage: A large group of fans completely surrounded a lone individual, making it impossible to determine his identity. Based on the enthusiasm surrounding his entrance, he has already established a loyal fanbase. Just before the cameras cut back to ringside, the newcomer was heard making a loud declaration. "It's me! It's me! It's ..."
HARLEY RACE def. RANDY SAVAGE (w/ Sherri Martel) via pinfall in an Extreme Rules PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship match. - Neither man gave an inch as they pushed themselves to the limits of their endurance. Savage rocked his opponent with a flying axe handle to the floor, but Race retaliated by ramming him into a corner post and then landing a diving head butt from the apron. When Martel tried to interfere, Race gave her shove and sent her tumbling over the ringside guardrail and into the crowd. Savage was bleeding from a nasty gash above his eyes as Race secured a monumental victory with a PILEDRIVER. - Tokens: Race 3 - Savage 6 - Race suffered an injury and will be out of action indefinitely. HARLEY RACE won the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship.

Nothing worse than a title changing hands and the new champ suffers a severe injury.
Cool to see Destroyer show Valentine who has the better figure four and the MVC retaining their belts even if I have a soft spot for the Conways.

Not too bad on predictions! Great show! The one time I pick Midnight Express rather than the Roadies and it shoots me in the foot! I wanted Sheik to win (predicted Thesz to win) because I am a softy! Congrats to Race but it sucks that he is out of indefinite...sucks when champs do that!

Cool to see Destroyer show Valentine who has the better figure four and the MVC retaining their belts even if I have a soft spot for the Conways. I know, right? Race worked so freaking hard to claim the gold... Just to be forced to give it up... Oh, snap! I really enjoyed rolling out The Destroyer vs. The Hammer... And something tells me Valentine won't be letting this go anytime soon... Funny how the match was the result of AJ getting injured (fortunately, nothing serious there)... And of course, I'm a fan of strong title reigns so MVC winning was a good thing... Although just like you, I'm developing a soft spot for the Conways. Always appreciate the constant support, my friend... Many thanks!

Congrats to Race but it sucks that he is out of indefinite...sucks when champs do that! The Roadies wanted another shot at those tag belts so bad they could taste it... Sorry, Mr Cornette... HA! I'm pleased Thesz won... He really needed the win more than Sheik at this stage in the game... Sheik is like Jannetty in most of my feds - a consistent overachiever. Now that my new champion has suffered a potentially career ending injury, I've gotta get to work on booking a way to crown a new one... Not happy about being forced to vacate the to title so early in my history... But, the dice don't lie. Totally appreciate the excellent feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
