Wild Boyz continue to impress. Nice win by Brazil. Admittedly, I would have been happy with either Brody or DiBiase winning that first qualifier... But, I'm quite happy that Brazil won the second... Four spots left in the Six Pack... Who's gonna fill them? Stoked that you're still enjoying the action, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Pro Class Wrestling Association WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHIPLASH! Episode #16, Year 1, Apr-18 Manhattan Center, New York, NY
Commentary: Paul Ellering and Trish Stratus
2 COLD SCORPIO & MAGNUM T.A. def. DAVID TAYLOR & GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) via pinfall. - Scorpio and Magnum used fluid teamwork to keep George in the line of fire. Using the referee as a human shield, George bailed out to the floor and urged Taylor to take his place in the ring. Before Taylor truly realized what had just happened, Magnum rocked him with a running forearm and hooked the leg for a swift three count. - Tokens: Scorpio 1, Magnum 1 - George 3 - While Taylor argued with the referee about his decision, George collected his valet and abandoned his partner. Commissioner Dillon confirmed the referee's decision was final, but decided further resolution was needed and announced a match for Action Talks - Magnum T.A. vs. Gorgeous George.
AJ STYLES def. BRUTUS BEEFCAKE (w/ Greg Valentine) via pinfall. - Styles was in serious trouble after missing a suicide dive out to the floor. Beefcake rolled him back into the ring and clamped on a SLEEPER, but Styles survived by reaching the ropes to force a break. Mounting a miraculous comeback, he rolled Beefcake into a Calf Killer. Valentine tried to interfere, but accidentally struck Beefcake with a vicious clothesline. Tossing Valentine aside, Styles delivered a STYLES CLASH to remain undefeated. - Tokens: Styles 3 - Beefcake 3 - Beefcake was openly curious about Valentine's lack of involvement until it was practically too late. Valentine apparently had other concerns as he completely ignored his partner while muttering something about The Destroyer stealing his move.
Backstage: Upon discovering that his father had made some kind of deal in order to get Tully Blanchard in the ring, Barry Windham entered Commissioner Dillon's office like a man on a mission. Dillon had no problem sharing the particulars of the arrangement, telling Windham that unless Blackjack Mulligan defeated Blanchard at Action Talks, he would willingly become the commissioner's personal enforcer. Adding that he was always in the mood for a bargain, he offered Windham a double or nothing proposition. If Windham could beat Curt Hennig at Action Talks, it would negate the previous arrangement, regardless of the outcome between Mulligan and Blanchard. However, if Windham and Mulligan both lost their respective matches, they would have to join the commissioner's posse together.
TERRY GORDY def. ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL via pinfall. - As declared by Commissioner Dillon last week, the respective partners of each competitor were banned from ringside. The referee offered plenty of leniency as both competitors pulled out all the stops in this heated exchange. Animal was busted open after being rammed into the metal ringside stairs, but continued to fight through the pain. Blood loss eventually took its toll and Gordy pinned Animal with a POWERBOMB. - Tokens: Gordy 3 - Animal 7 - When Stratus asked Ellering if this result was a bad omen for the upcoming PCWA Global Tag Team Championship match between Miracle Violence Connection and the Road Warriors at Action Talks, he offered an ambiguous reply. Without explanation, he stated that nothing could prevent destiny.
Backstage: Sinn Bodhi casually sat upon the floor, rocking back and forth in time with music only he could hear. Looking up into the shadows, he mumbled something about the Coven coming to devour everything in its path.
JACKIE FARGO def. LOU THESZ via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championhip Six Pack Challenge qualifying match. - A cheap shot showed Fargo to gain an early advantage. Fargo quickly followed up with a jumping stomp and hooking the tights, brought this contest to an abrupt end. - Tokens: n/a - Fargo advanced to the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship Six Pack Challenge at Action Talks. Upon reaching the backstage area, Thesz encountered Rock Riddle. He taunted Thesz, asking how long it would take everyone else to realize just how far the mighty had fallen. Pushed to the end of his patience, Thesz tackled Riddle to the floor and had to be pulled away by security. Riddle yelled that nothing had changed and Thesz remained an absolute loser.
At Ringside: Seeming fully aware of what was about to happen, Status stopped talking an instant before the lights went out. The giant video monitor above the runway came alive with flashes of blue and the same voice from the past two weeks filled the arena. "They say that searching for gold in a coal mine just turns your fingers black. What happens when you dig for gunpowder in a diamond mine?" Looking to Stratus for some manner of insight, Ellering watched a his colleague's mouth slip into a sly grin. Placing one finger across her lips in a hushing gesture, Stratus whispered a single word. "Bang."
JIMMY SNUKA def. NICK BOCWINKEL (w/ Bobby Heenan) via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championhip Six Pack Challenge qualifying match.- Snuka shocked everyone with a slick combination of scientific ability and relentless tenacity. Before Bockwinkel could put together a working strategy, Snuka landed a leapfrog and chop for the win. - Tokens: Bockwinkel 1 - Snuka advanced to the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship Six Pack Challenge at Action Talks. Unable to believe the outcome, Heenan pleaded for his client to receive another chance. Commissioner Dillon responded that all four men that previously lost their qualifying matches will actually receive that opportunity. Next week, Bockwinkel will be included with Bruiser Brody, Iron Sheik and Lou Thesz in a miniature tournament to decide the last participant in the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship Six Pack Challenge at Action Talks.
Action Talks Promo Year 1, Apr-27 Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore, MD
- Six Pack Challenge: Randy Savage vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Bobo Brazil vs. Jackie Fargo vs. Jimmy Snuka vs. TBD for the vacant PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship - Miracle Violence Connection (c) vs. Road Warriors for the PCWA Global Tag Team Championship - AJ Styles vs. The Destroyer - Buzzkillers vs. Midnight Express - Blackjack Mulligan vs. Tully Blanchard - Magnum T.A. vs. Gorgeous George - Barry Windham vs. Curt Hennig

Terry Gory and Dr. Death had a good run in Japan and WCW. I think they would make a great team against the Road Warriors.
Great card!!!

Wow two upsets there by Fargo and Snuka. Always enjoy a good Gordy win. It was difficult watching Thesz and Bock lose back-to-back qualifying matches... Two gets I had pegged as high hopefuls to become the new champion... Should be interesting to see if either of them can win this four-man tourney on the next show... One spot remains!

Pro Class Wrestling Association WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHIPLASH! Episode #17, Year 1, Apr-25 Manhattan Center, New York, NY
Commentary: Paul Ellering and Trish Stratus
BRUISER BRODY def. IRON SHEIK (w/ Rock Riddle) via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championhip Six Pack Challenge qualifying tournament semifinal match. - Brody was on the warpath for the majority of this contest. Although multiple distractions by Riddle and Sheik's Loaded Boot managed to slow him down, he refused to be stopped. Brody pinned Sheik with a JUMPING KNEE DROP. - Tokens: Brody 2 - Sheik 4 - Brody advanced to the tournament final to face the winner of the upcoming tournament semifinal match between Lou Thesz and Nick Bockwinkel.
LOU THESZ def. NICK BOCKWINKEL (w/ Bobby Heenan) via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championhip Six Pack Challenge qualifying tournament semifinal match. - Bockwinkel opened strong and nearly managed to put his opponent away with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER, but Thesz managed to break free from the hold. Thesz countered a piledriver with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP, leading to a crowd pleasing comeback. To Heenan's dismay, Thesz planted Bockwinkel with a second GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP for the win. - Thesz advanced to face Bruiser Brody in the tournament final. Bockwinkel suffered an injury and will be out of action for 5 weeks.
Backstage: Marty Jannetty and Randy Rose, collectively known as the Wyld Boyz, indicated they would be watching the next match between Red Army and the Flying Tigers very closely. Rose made it clear they did not appreciate Boris Zhuvov and Nikolai Volkoff while Jannetty said the fans probably did not enjoy the tasteless serenade either. David Taylor arrived with his own opinion, stating the biggest problem with Americans is their ignorance towards other cultures and nationalities.
FLYING TIGERS (Tiger Conway Jr & Tiger Conway Sr) def. RED ARMY (Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff w/ Rock Riddle) via pinfall. - Things instantly spiraled out of control when the Wyld Boyz rushed the ring to prevent Zhukov and Volkoff from singing the Russian National Anthem. Capitalizing on the opportunity, the father and son duo executed a electrifying series of tandem maneuvers to take firm control of the encounter and Tiger Sr finished Zhukov with a LET'S TWIST & HEAD BUTT. - Tokens: Zhukov 2, Volkoff 2 - Based on the continuing hostility between the two teams and a few added wrinkles that came to light before the match, Commissioner Dillon announded a trios match for Action Talks - 2 Cold Scorpio & Wyld Boyz vs. David Taylor & Red Army.
Backstage: Claiming that he was not receiving proper treatment by the company, Chris Candido demanded a chance to speak his mind. He further expressed his agitation by threatening a camera operator. Before he could act on his words, Candido was suddenly taken out by a DIAMOND CUTTER! After making the save, Diamond Dallas Page told the crowd that he would be taking Candido to school at Action Talks!
BRUISER BRODY def. LOU THESZ via pinfall in the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championhip Six Pack Challenge qualifying tournament final. - Relying on technical skill, Thesz found a way to counter Brody's brutal approach. He hit a THESZ PRESS for a near fall, but Iron Sheik showed up at ringside and pulled Brody's foot onto the bottom rope to stop the count. Thesz took a swipe at Sheik, leaving himself open to a big boot to the face by Brody. Without any knowledge of the unsolicited assist, Brody delivered a JUMPING KNEE DROP and covered Thesz for a three count. - Tokens: Brody 4 - Thesz 2 - Brody advanced to the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship Six Pack Challenge at Action Talks. In an attempt to finally resolve the ongoing feud between the two men, Commissioner Dillon announced one final match for Action Talks - Lou Thesz vs. Iron Sheik in a Last Man Standing match.

Big victory by Brody and Sheik might have bitten too much to battle Thesz. Conways continue to rock.
