Somehow I am 2-1. I have no idea. I feel like I am playing my Lions the last two weeks. I am getting stomped and it seems like I have no chance of winning. Then my opponent fades late and I come back to pull off the win. All I know is I have a winning record for the first time this season. Hope you all did well this week too.

5-1 so far but I’m blowing my FAAB budget like a man fresh out of jail at a strip club. Wasn’t really paying attention last week at spent 15% on Irv Smith & 12% on Darrell Williams but didn’t bid on Jeff Wilson

I am running with 3 RBs this week and James Robinson is not one of them. Neither is Dameon Pierce. I am going with JT, of course, Jamaal Williams and Khalif Herbert. Hoping it pays off. I am going against the team in 1st. Technically there are 6 teams at 2-1 including me. The tie breaker being points scored has him in 1st and me in 5th. I picked up Dak Prescot and put him on my IR list. I cut Elijah Mitchell of the IR to get him. I figured Elijah is still a ways from coming back and I have some decent RB depth right now. With no back up QB I wanted someone for when Stafford is on a bye. Dak will have a sweet matchup that week against my Lions.

Here is how crazy FF can be. I picked up J.K. Dobbins a couple weeks ago knowing he was close to coming back and figured he would be impactful with this Ravens team. I sat him this week as I figured he needed one more week to rev up to full speed plus he was facing the Bills D. So, of course he went off. I had him and Dameon Pierce on my bench and they both went for 20+. I also had a TE on my bench go for 12 points and had thought of picking up Geno Smith, since he went up against my Lions, but did not have anyone I wanted to drop for the rental on Smith. Of course, Smith went off today. On the plus side, I sat Robinson who I figured would struggle against Philly. Plus, I had my top TE, TJ of the Lions, go off for 33+. He came close to topping 40 as he almost scored his 3 TD of the afternoon. I also had Jamaal Williams go for 20+ and CeeDee hit 18+. So, long story short, yea too late for that, my opponent is done for the week while I still have Mike Evans in the SNF game and Stafford in the MNF game to go. I just have to cross my fingers and hope they combine for more than minus 24 points and I will go to 3-1 on the season. Do you all think it is too early for me to celebrate?  |

A guy in my league picked up Jarod Goff but kept him on the bench for Josh Allen. Cost him about 10 points. It looks like he will lose either way but still.

I had the highest score in my league this week and the biggest blowout of the week. It was the biggest blowout of the season and 2nd highest score of the season. If Stafford could have just tossed one damn TD I would have had the highest score of the season so far. The main reason I wanted it is if I had it then after four weeks of the season I could claim both the highest score and the lowest score lol. I feel real good about my team right now outside of my QB situation. I picked up Prescott last week and put him on my IR list. Hopefully when he comes back he can keep Dallas purring on offense. If not, I am stuck with Stafford or trying to stream. Picking up whoever is playing the Lions would be a safe bet but this week it is New England and they might be on their QB3.

I am trying to figure out what is tougher. Trying to fill a position on your team going into a week when you really have no good options or trying to fill a position when you have too many options. I mean I guess the latter is better because odds are you cannot go wrong but it is still frustrating. I keep second guessing myself as we go into this week of games. On the plus side I had already sat Johanthan Taylor, almost did it last week, before finding out he is out anyways. His injury just makes the decision I made easier to live with.

The guy I’m playing today might get the record for worst total ever. He had 8/9 players finished by the 4pm games and he has 25 points. 😳
