I’ve been in a keeper league with buddies I grew up with for years. This week I had the dreaded “2nd highest score while playing the top scorer.” I expected Chubb, Eckler, and Kelce to perform but having Geno double your QB is too much to take.

Wow FF sure is a crazy ride. Early Sunday I was getting pounded harder than a saloon girl on a hot Saturday night in a cowtown. He had Josh Allen go off while Jamaal Williams and TJ did squat for the Lions or me. Then in the late afternoon his guys fizzled while I came storming back thanks to Dallas's D. Going into Monday he had a WR and I had a 16.6 lead. His WR only got 3 catches so normally I would have won. But just my luck 2 of those catches were for a TD. Damn, Adams. Why couldn't he get in trouble for shoving someone a week earlier? lol I thought the one good thing was I helped my opponent earn a Comeback medal for winning on MNF but he had already one it this season. I sit in 4th at 3-2. This week will be rough as half my team are on byes.

The guy I’m playing today might get the record for worst total ever. He had 8/9 players finished by the 4pm games and he has 25 points. 😳 Damn and I thought I did a bad job some weeks. Well, I do, but not as bad as that. |

Taking Kelce in the 3rd is really paying off. Lucky. I almost took in with the last pick of the 2nd round but the guy picking right before me took him. |

Interesting thing is in the same league w the same people the year prior, he was a 1st round pick. So to see him drop to the 3rd was very surprising. |

Especially being in the same league like that. My only guess is they thought with Hill gone that he would see a decline. I mean it would seem teams would double him more with him being the biggest threat but it sure has not slowed him down any. |

I'm 4-1 in my big money league. Taking a chance on Dameon Pearce is paying off since I was able to load up on WR's and two QB's (superflex league). Also have Kyle Pitts whom I hope has a resurgence pretty soon. 1-4 in my work league. I thought I had a good draft. Apparently the FF gods say otherwise.

Congrats on the 4-1 in the money league. That is where you want to do good. As far as work league, FF can be fickle. That and I am PRETTY sure I am cursed...or a curse. Last three years I have had the top pick and I picked Run CMC the last two and Taylor this year. Each year has seen injuries and underperforming.
