PURE vs. EXTREME

Doing this for future consideration in my current Legends fed which can be found here... PCWA - Pro Class Wrestling Association

My question is this... What kind of championship would you find more interesting and/or exciting and/or innovative... etc. etc.

PURE = These title matches would require very strict adherence to the rules... No moves that require a DQ roll, no fighting out of the ring... I would roll down an offensive level before allowing either of these two situations.

EXTREME = Just the opposite... No DQ or count-outs... The only exception would be to prevent outside interference... DQ rolls would take place as usual for interference.

At some point, I may institute both... Or for that matter, maybe neither will ever come into play (yeah, right)...

I am on record as not being a fan of hardcore/extreme rules wrestling... I think it is great as a blow off to a particularly intense feud (like the I Quit match between Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard, which was actually tame compared to some of the extreme stuff) but I think that it is a bit much for just regular matches. I would much prefer a pure title.

Pure, for sure. One on one, let the best man win. Nothing better than destroying your enemy on a level playing field. Feels good!

I voted Pure, and with ROH bringing the title back maybe we can get some official pure match rules in the game.

When I was younger, I'd say Extreme but nowadays, totally Pure.

If one didn't want to use Pure for the name of the title, what would you call it?

I know we played around with a pure title match rule set when working on the early ROH sets, but didn't include it since the title was inactive. Maybe we can revisit now.
