Match Rating: 0.00
Match Notes: The show kicks off with a middleweight contest that will go some way to determining the next challenger for the NWA Central States Middleweight Championship.

Rikidozan defeated The Destroyer with a THUNDEROUS CHOPS at 13:47
Match Rating: 3.75
Match Notes: These two competitors are coming straight off a tour of Japan - Rikidozan's homeland. Rikidozan battled back after some brawling on the outside, though, and then the match was all his. The Destroyer took everything the former JWA champ had and then some. The Destroyer was even screaming in agony after the HIPLOCK was utilized for an extended period. Rikidozan transitioned it into a Boston Crab, but the Destroyer would not give up.
Finally, a series of THUNDEROUS CHOPS leveled the masked man, and Rikidozan scored the 1, 2, 3.

Match Rating: 4.50
Match Notes: The two top teams in the territory fight it out for titles. The Kangaroos were the recognized champions going in but faced a big challenge from the Flying Redheads.
The match lived up to the hype as these two teams battled back and forth, tooth and nail, to prove who the best team in CSW are.
Bastien took it to Heffernan early, and he and Lyons worked the tag to keep him on his heels. Things would eventually turn the Kangaroos way, though.
Heffernan and Costello worked the double-team and went right for their big moves to pummel Lyons and Bastien, especially. In fact, Bastien was busted wide open after and a trip to the outside. He wore the crimson mask but battled back from underneath.
About 15 minutes in, things got even wilder. Heffernan used the STEP OVER TOEHOD, and when Lyons came in to break things up, pandemonium erupted. The ref restored order, but then he got blasted by accident when Heffernan went for an ax handle off the top.
While the ref was down, Bastien made a comeback, and Lyons was tagged in to work over Heffernan. It was short-lived, and Costello came in to lay the hurt on Lyons, who was soon joining his partner in wearing the crimson mask.
'Wild' Red Berry tried to sneak a hit in with the cane, and it looked like things were all over for the Redheads, but Lyons ducked, and Berry smashed Costello! As the ref came to, Lyons hit a big atomic drop on Costello, and while Heffernan was arguing with Berry, the Redheads got the 1, 2, 3 to take the NWA Central States Tag Team Titles!
What a match! Heffernan is hot and grabs Costello as Berry tries to plead his case on the way to the back.

A swinging neck breaker led to a pair of PILEDRIVERs, but it wasn't enough! Brisco was in a bad way, though. He tried to rally, but Race cut him off, and things spilled outside...

Lou Thesz defeated Dick Hutton with a THESZ PRESS at 24:46
Match Rating: 4.50
Match Notes: The main event of the evening is for the grandest prize in all of professional wrestling. Lou Thesz defends his NWA World Heavyweight Championship against the number one contender, Dick Hutton.
This was a great match! They went back and forth early, but Hutton came out on top and scored an early near fall with an atomic drop! Thesz rallied quickly and scored a near fall of his own with an airplane spin. The see-saw battle was ignited, and these two put on a classic back and forth contest. Hutton had the champ on the ropes several times, all the while withstanding a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP and a THESZ PRESS.
The champ would rally, though, and after an incredible 20 minutes of the first fall, he finally put Hutton away with a THESZ PRESS.
The second fall saw Hutton attempt a comeback, but Thesz cut him off and hit a big THESZ PRESS off the ropes to secure the strong title defense in two straight falls. The only question now: will Harley Race be next up, and if he is, can Thesz put him away as easily?

Lou Thesz retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship
