I'm on board with this as well. A fun read that felt like a trip back through the days of the territories. I love the callback to the different ring names as well. That upcoming world title match between Jack Brisco and Bob Roop at the Omni should be a good one.

Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback! I've kicked around the idea of this promotion for a few years. No time like the present to start it up! I'll run 3-4 weekly TV shows and then a monthly show at the Omni. Let's get down to this week's show.
Episode T2 - September 15
After Freddie Miller’s familiar intro, Gordon Solie welcomes viewers to this week’s show, and we get down to action…
Bobby Heenan (1) & Rock Riddle vs. Thomas Couch (1) & Tommy Gilbert, Jr. (non-title match) - While the fans were behind the young team of “TNT” (Thomas & Tommy), the champions controlled the match from start to finish. Riddle started off against Couch, and leveled him with a brutal forearm smash. He brought in his partner, who blatantly choked Couch in front of the referee. Solie questioned why Bobby Simmons didn’t call for the disqualification, but Couch broke free and delivered a fantastic dropkick! He made the tag to Gilbert, Jr., who vaulted over the top rope and blasted Heenan with his father’s trademark knee lift. An embarrassed Heenan bailed out of the ring, grabbed Gilbert, Jr., by the foot and drug him to the floor, where he slammed him back first into the ring apron. He tagged in Riddle, who turned Gilbert, Jr. into his BOSTON CRAB finisher. Gilbert, Jr., gamely struggled but ultimately conceded the match to the tag team champions.
INTERVIEW - Heenan & Riddle discuss their tag title defense, coming up in one week at the Omni. While Heenan & Riddle boasted of their victory, Solie introduced a pre-recorded interview with Graham & Zybszko, following a title defense on Tuesday of their City of Columbus (GA) tag team championship. Graham & Zybszko stated every defense of their tag team championship was a tune up to prepare them for the World Tag Team Championship. Heenan & Riddle were enraged, and questioned why Solie cut into “their interview time” before leaving the interview area.
Randy Poffo (1) vs. Bob Roop - The challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship made an impressive showing against young Randy Poffo. Poffo, who wrestles in cut off jean shorts instead of traditional wrestling trunks, made a better showing than the previous week. He showed some great bursts of agility against the former Olympian, including a high leapfrog where Solie pondered if he might touch the WTBS studio ceiling. In the end, Roop’s experience and technical wrestling prowess spelled the difference, and he delivered a powerful SHOULDER BREAKER to get the three count.
Mr. X vs. Frank “The Hammer” Goodish - The strange wildman from Albequerque, New Mexico, hollered and barked as he stormed the ring. He battered the hapless Mr. X from pillar to post, as Sole declared. Goodish seemed too energetic at times, as he charged X in the corner but the masked man move, sending Goodish crashing to the studio floor. Mr. X pursued Goodish, which was a big mistake, as Goodish picked up X and heaved him threw the second and top rope from the floor! Goodish tossed X around some more with some powerful body slams, before dropping a JUMPING KNEE DROP for the win.
INTERVIEW - Nick Bockwinkel, challenges the winner of the Brisco vs. Roop match. Bockwinkel handed a telegram to Gordon Solie and asked him to read it. Solie noted that the letter was from the desk of NWA President Sam Muchnick, and it declared Nick Bockwinkel the number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, based on his recent winning streak throughout the country. Solie continued to share that in five weeks, Bockwinkel would face the victor of the Jack Brisco vs. Bob Roop title match at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA, for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The telegram was co-signed by NWA Commissioner Lou Thesz.
Jim Brunzell vs. Dennis Condrey - Brunzell has a few more years experience than Condrey, and it was apparent in this match. The match started off slowly with both men exchanging holds. Brunzell got the better of a criss cross off of the ropes and took down Condrey with a beautiful arm drag. Brunzell went up high with a tremendous flying headscissors and rolled up Condrey for the victory.
Main Event - Mike Graham & Larry Zybskzo vs. The Mighty Yankees - The top contenders for the World Tag Team Championship squared off against the veteran masked duo. Graham started off strong, but the Yankees used some illegal double teaming to get an advantage. Graham was able to tag in Zbyszko, who took over with a sleeper and backbreaker combo. He tagged back in Graham, who came off the second rope with a beautiful sunset flip for the pinfall.
INTERVIEW - World Heavyweight Champion Jack Brisco on his title defense next week against Bob Roop, and Nick Bockwinkel’s challenge. Brisco looked impressive in his suit, displaying the beautiful “Ten Pounds of Gold”, the historic NWA World Heavyweight Championship on the red leather strap. Solie asked Brisco about his recent schedule, and if it was taking its toll on him. Brisco said being a champion is exhausting, but it’s the most rewarding experience of his professional and amateur career. He said he looks forward to testing his technical skills against the challenge of Olympian Bob Roop. Brisco wrapped things up by saying he’d be foolish to ignore Roop and look ahead to the challenge of Nick Bockwinkel, but he’s ready for any challengers the NWA puts in front of him.

This is really great stuff Chad. I'd love to know how you modified the stats of some of these guys.
What a unique concept, looking forward to more!

Slymm, for a lot of the young guys, I'm giving them a "severe injury" from the Injury Chart in the Ringside Companion to downgrade them. I'm also making any Level 1 Reversal a "hurt - 2" and making a Level 2 Reversal a Level 1 Reversal. For Larry Zybszko, I'm using TDalton 's WWWF bootleg stats. For Eddie Gilbert, I'm using Tommy Gilbert's card. I'm probably going to make alternate stats for Randy Poffo, because his card is still pretty strong, even with the severe injury modifiers. Ditto for another young wrestler who will be debuting soon, because his rookie style is very different from his Legends card style. Anyone I create stats for I'll share in the filsingergames.proboards.com/board/30/low-lotf-fan-cards-rules section of the board.

Do you believe the Injury Table to be a more accurate conversion than the Coming Out of Retirement Table in instances like these?

To be honest, the Injury Table was the first thing I thought of, and I didn't consider the Coming out of Retirement Table. Probably because I stopped playing COTG around The End 2110, and I don't know if I ever had anyone come out of retirement! I'll have to compare the two during the holidays and will let you know what I think. Great suggestion!

I think he wore those circa 1975-76 when he was working The Sheik's Detroit territory teaming with John Bonello I believe. I loved that last show, episode 2, especially having Bobby Heenan & Rock Riddle as the world tag champs. Their match with Graham & Zbyszko should be a fun one and I like the latter holding the tag titles in Columbus. Nice build continuing for Brisco vs. Roop and it's cool to see Nick Bockwinkel challenging the winner.
