Quite the main event even if the ending wasn't what we wanted.

Holy snap! Looks like Brisco and Bockwinkel went to war, closing out this night at the Omni in pretty brutal fashion... The fans might have been disappointed initially, but this just adds to the hunger for the inevitable rematch.
Graham & Zbyszko looked great, claiming the tag belts... And I really enjoyed Kealoha's appearance, saving TnT from that post-match beatdown.... Wondering of we might see him team up with Muraco against Fritz & the Baron in the future... Another fun show!

Episode T10 - October 27
After Freddie Miller’s familiar intro, Gordon Solie welcomes viewers to this week’s show, and we get down to action…
INTERVIEW - Gordon Solie introduced a video of Jack Brisco, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, filmed after last week’s Omni main event. Solie asked about the appearance of Bobby Heenan in the corner of Nick Bockwinkel during the NWA World title match. Brisco said he wasn’t sure what the relationship was between Bockwinkel and Heenan, but Heenan definitely interfered in the match when he placed Bockwinkel’s foot on the bottom rope, breaking up a pinfall. Solie said there wasn’t any film of the action in question, as the ringside cameraman was focused on Bockwinkel’s shoulders during the pinfall. Solie said they would check with the ringside photographers for evidence of Heenan’s actions.
Jim Brunzell b, Mr. X - Brunzell was fired up this week, and quickly dispatched the masked man. After an arm whip into the ropes, Brunzell hit his HIGH FLYING DROPKICK and got the victory, in an announced time of 16 seconds!
J.J. Dillon b. Thomas Couch (4) - The diabolical J.J. Dillon took on the popular youngster Thomas Couch. Dillon attacked at the bell and ruthlessly battered Couch around the ring. He appeared to have the win a number of times, but he pulled Couch’s shoulders off of the mat before the three count. With the fans behind him, Couch staged a fantastic comeback, and looked to have the match won as he climbed the ropes for a big cross body block. Dillon sidestepped the move at the last minute, and Couch crashed to the mat. Dillon hooked the leg as referee Scrappy McGowan counted to three.
INTERVIEW - Gordon Solie brought out local promoter Paul Jones, who has been on the phone with the NWA all week regarding the title match. As numerous members of the NWA Board have reviewed the footage, they are in agreement that Bobby Heenan’s appearance in Bockwinkel’s corner was not appropriate, and action will be taken. Baron Von Raschke b. Tommy Gilbert, Jr. (3) - Von Raschke tore into Gilbert Jr. right away, but Gilbert, Jr. was able to avoid the BRAIN CLAW. Von Raschke hammered him relentlessly with knee smashes and hit a crushing backbreaker drop. He then clamped on the BRAIN CLAW and pinned Gilbert, Jr.’s shoulders to the mat.
INTERVIEW - Gordon Solie introduced the new World Tag Team Champions, Mike Graham and Larry Zybszko. They were met by a tremendous reception from the studio crowd. They dedicated their victory to all the fans who supported, but before they could get much more out, they were approached by former tag team champions Bobby Heenan and Rock Riddle. Heenan and Riddle accused them of paying off referee Scrappy McGowan, among other improprieties. Graham and Zybszko ignored the accusations and made their way to the ring.
Larry Zybszko & Mike Graham b. Mike Jackson (1) & Snake Brown - Zbyszko started off in the ring with Mike Jackson, the Alabama junior heavyweight champion. Zbyszko hit a big backbreaker and tagged in Graham. After a Graham dropkick, Jackson staggered into his corner and tagged in the crafty Snake Brown. Brown threw some weak punches, but Graham battled back and clamped on a sleeper. After wearing Brown down, Graham threw him to the mat and applied the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the victory.
INTERVIEW - Gordon Solie turned his attention to Bobby Heenan and Rock Riddle, who gave their opinions of Graham and Zbyszko during the prior match. Graham and Zybskzo made their way back to the podium. Tempers flared and a shoving match broke out. As the locker room emptied to break up the wrestlers, insults were thrown about.
Ivan Koloff (3) b. Don Muraco (3) - Our main event featured two top competitors from GCW, as the popular Don Muraco squared off against the vicious Russian, Ivan Koloff. Muraco initially took control of the match, but things got out of hand when referee Bobby Simmons was knocked out by an errant Muraco shoulder tackle. As Muraco checked on the official, Koloff attacked from behind and threw Muraco out of the ring. Koloff delivered a devastating falling face slam from the ring apron to the floor and tried to bring his steel chain into the ring. Referee Scrappy McGowan stopped him from using the chain, but he continued to beat Muraco ruthlessly. As McGowan helped revive Simmons, Koloff twice delivered his RUSSIAN SICKLE. Simmons delivered the three count on Muraco and Koloff was declared the winner.

Superb action inside the ring, as always... And I'm really enjoying the controversy surrounding Brisco's recent title loss to Tricky Nicky (with a devious assist by Heenan)... Gotta think this will lead to a rematch between the two men somewhere down the line.
Even though I was cheering for Muraco, the main event definitely delivered... Awesome stuff!
