The handwriting issue for me is the main reason why I make a separate post for the next show's lineup in all of my fed threads. I write them down on paper first but, without an electronic copy which the fed threads here provide me, there were times in the past where I could not decipher or remember what I wrote.

I write them down on paper first but, without an electronic copy which the fed threads here provide me, there were times in the past where I could not decipher or remember what I wrote. Same here! I had one fight card where I was half-asleep at the end, and once I took a nap and looked back at the final match, I couldn't figure it out at all (it amounted to about three squiggley lines and that was it), so I had to replay the match! So the lesson there was: Never play when I'm sleepy, since I'd only have to replay it anyway! Todd C WTIC

I guess I'm saying I play the cards for me but I post them for other people to read and get whatever enjoyment or inspiration from them they can. I agree with this 100%. For me, my COTG color cards feds are just results driven feds based mostly on the official storylines. So they are really not that creative compared to most COTG promoters. But I nevertheless do enjoy building up a personal fed history with these cards that can be documented electronically here on this board's fed forum along with the title histories sub-forum.

Think that's a really fun idea. When I do indy stuff that's usually my same thing. No storylines, just run matches that look fun to me.

Hey everybody!
Really enjoyed everyone's perspectives and experiences and driving home the point of just to have fun with however you play and experience this game.
In whatever form that works and is enjoyable for you.
I was a table top player for the longest time but just recently switched over to the online play.
It's really working for me for where I am now physically and mentally.
I can play basically anywhere and anytime even if it's only a match at a time.
For me I'm always tinkering with the way I post. I am on a quest to discover a balance between the overall scope of what I post vs what I can manage to comfortably maintain
It's a true labor of love as this game has gotten me through many rough times, not to mention being able to hang out on these message boards with all of you fine people!
This game and this community are gifts that I'm very thankful for.
I typically run feds that combine various product lines in one. I can't help myself lol.
So many possibilities and combinations to explore.
But I wanted to echo the sentiment that we should always keep our eyes on the prize - to simply have fun.
Fun is subjective - and it's all good.
In the words of Wayne from Wayne's World:
"Led Zeppelin didn't write songs that they thought everyone would like"
In the worlds of LL Cool J (I think):
"It's you're world squirrel I'm just a nut"
I'm big into quotes, one of them I often repeat to myself is - be yourself...everyone else is taken.
Have fun all!

In fact this thread and KB's Aethran stuff caused me to go a whole new way for GWF for a while. That's what I love about the creativity involved in this game. Bri, you always speak the truth on these boards.
