The Celebration of The Lounge Lizard - Episode 1 -  SOTU Referee - The Unknown Soldier:

We see a t.v. set that resembles the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson set in appearance...sitting at the desk is Bill Murray...sitting in the "Ed McMahon seat" is Bill's associate...Harold Ramis...

Murray's guest The Unknown Soldier goes into on how all of these recent stars in the independent wrestling scene will never get the recognition they want and deserve until they compete at the "major league level" aka with the Legends of Wrestling...

Upon Murray's insistence and Ramis exclaiming in between sips from his can that he's all beers...The Unknown Soldier stands up and says:

I said the joker is a wanted man
He makes his way all across the land
See him sifting through the sand
So I'll tell you all the story
About the joker and the thief in the night...

He's always laughing in the midst of power
Always living in the final hour
There is always sweet and sour
So we are not going home...

The Soldier then takes off his black t-shirt revealing a large tattoo on his chest...that of a large brown grisly bear with a sneering face...it's arms extended at its sides...and a golden...and almost sarcastic looking halo above its head...

The Soldier then stares into the camera (while still wearing his mask) and says:

You all know who I am...the SOTU is the only place...for all of us to be...sign up now for our Legends of The Universe Tag Team Challange Tournament...join us...and later on compete...for the first time ever sanctioned on this planet...The SOTU Champion of The Universe Title...

(Harold Ramis turns with one eye brow raised towards Murray...Murray responds by pursing his lips and making a fist...Ramis turns back with both brows raised while taking a large gulp...)

The Soldier then continues into the camera:

Oh...and there's one more thing...You Know Who...has been in contact with the principal owner here of The SOTU...they are working together to bring...HIM...back from his eternal prison...and with all of his crazy ass power...we have to stop them from doing that...and figure out a way...to get...all of us...home...

Bill Murray - Well There You Have It Ladies And Gentlemen...If Any of You Out There...Are As Confused As He Is...

(Murray points at Ramis as he says this...Ramis returned Murray's pointer finger...with a middle finger of his own...)

Bill Murray - Then Come On Down To The SOTU...And Follow Along To A Story That Most People...Just Can't Even...Handle...Do You Have...Testicular Fortitude?...(Ramis groans off camera)...Well That's It For Tonight...From The Eye of The Murricane...I'm You're Host...

"The Unbeatables" are definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with in The SOTU. You're right with that one lol. And you're probably right with the other.

Very glad the in ring action is working.

I'm glad (and full of thanks!) that the "Behind closed doors" discussions are working too.

I'm going to be tweaking the layout of the card posts in order to accommodate an increasing roster, more matches per card, more going on - but without sacrificing brevity.

Also because of the awesome inspiration of my fellow promoters - yourself included as you have inspired a new title within the new layout.

It's one that works with me and jives with my imagination.

Symptoms of The Universe

How goes it everybody!

Just wanted to step out of the fed for a moment to report on something that had occurred, (prior to the start of The SOTU), within this universe that the fed occupies.

I've alluded to this (I think - forgive me I suffer from CRS), but just wanted to mention this for; the folks that may not follow the COTG product line, this alternate take on it for the ones that do and also to preface my next card.

(Note: Believe me - I am not an expert either!)

Since Card 7 really concerns itself with this combination of LOW and COTG I thought this would fill in holes in my story/ies and me head lol.

About 1 year before the formation of The SOTU an event took place that starts in the canon COTG storyline where a powerfull demon, who had been controlling and ruling the COTG universe, has been bannished to an alternate dimension, imprisoned and stripped of his cataclysmic power.

One of the many things that this demon had done within the COTG universe prior to being exiled, (which is in the year 2136), was to create a tournament on a cloaked planet with some of, if not the greatest wrestlers within the GOTG product line. All to satisfy his whims.

But in my fed canon, just before the plug gets pulled on his power and his freedom he throws these 18 wrestlers off of this planet, (called Merapis btw), and teleports them randomly through time and randomly to another planet as well. The demon also sends someone with them (a non wrestler - but a manager).

This someone is a genetic scientist who is proficient in genetically creating very powerful wrestlers, (coincidentally - his greatest creation is one of the 18 - as he should be if you saw his stats!).

In the canon COTG storyline, this scientist is currently trying to figure out, (in an opportunistic way imo), how to free the demon and restore his power.

In my feds canon, he's doing the same, but just in hiding from the COTG universe - and from a yet undisclosed location on Earth.

When these 19 beings were teleported to Earth it was a year before the formation of The SOTU.

They landed in a place that many of them, (in the story), refer to as, "A God awful place called Wisconsin" in a field. (My nod to the movie "Dogma" 😊)

Two of the beings worked with the scientist to conceal him from all if the others. "Desperado", "Sunshine Superman" & "The Master Planner" respectively.

In trying to make sense of being abandoned on Earth and to attempt to find they're way - many of them became parts of the independent wrestling scene on Earth and had some success.

Some went into hiding.

But all except one of these 19 (who's too animalistic to know - let alone communicate) realizes that altering or playing with time can cause unforeseen and potentially catastrophic results.

So they all assumed aliases and started wrestling under different names.

So to make a long story longer - I think that's all I wanted to say.

Hey TTX!

First off it's funny that you say that because there's a large 32 team tag tournament on the horizon (Card 13 to be precise).

So for that show it's definitely going to have to be split.

And at least one other large one down the road (Card 18) - and this one may be in three parts.

But as a rule I plan on sticking to a more concise post for the regular cards.

(Flirting with a few ideas that may run parallel to the cards but tbd).

Bill Murray - "The voices had decided that it was time to hang up the trunks...and Mikey's therapy...had been improving...we decided to head upstate to get some fresh air...and get back to nature...but we came across a truck accident...vats of spilled honey on the ground...a bear showed up...one hasty moment led into another...and Mikey unintentionally embedded his head up this bears ass...as they had both made a mad scramble for the honey...and that...turned out to actually Mikey's real bottom...not the bear's...it just couldn't get any worse for him...and for the bear...confusion...mixed with a humbling feeling...of vulnerability...but myself and truck driver were able to pull him out...true progress has many sounds...but in this instance...it was a resounding and powerful...FFFLUCK sound...as we pulled his head out of the darkness...now I get it...some would say it was a moment of humiliation...but for Mikey...it was...a rebirth...a second chance...when you've truly hit bottom...there's nowhere else to go but out...and in Mikey's case...out...I'm happy to say he's now a prolific bee keeper...sure he gets stung often...but now...life is just so much better off for him now...then before...the darkness"...


Out of The Arena Spotlight & Behind Closed Doors:


▪ The owner of The SOTU - Desperado (aka Sly Drury) is now monumentally pissed off due to: 1. Our referee The Unknown Soldier (aka Hector) outing him on live t.v. last card and his plans with The Master Planner (aka The Dark Menace) to free and restore the eternal demon GODSEND and abandon the other seventeen beings that were stranded here by GODSEND before the fall - and 2. These stranded seventeen beings are now gunning for him & want his ass...

▪ Sly Drury sent his lackey, Ted DiBiase to not only fire our referee Hector, but everyone who was associated with this plan. From our four commissioners to Bill Murray and Harold Ramis. But with the backing and physical protection assured by Sky Low Low and his crew, the three Directors on The Board of The SOTU grew spines. They reminded Drury that the three of them each own 20% of the fed, whereas Drury only 35% and DiBiase 5%. So they finally stood up to him and told Drury and DiBiase to, "Fire This!"...

▪ The Dark Menace meanwhile placed a call to rival fed World Wide Empire...in order to speak with a recent independent star that the WWE have just hired who goes by the name Rampage...

▪ In the Commissioners Office, Little Beaver was adding an independent wrestler lexicon to his notes so they will start to be able to identify true identities between all of these "independent wrestlers". Something caught Beav's attention and made the hairs on his - and later Sky's, arms and neck stand up. Someone was walking down the hallway who cast a silver shadow before him. As this being strode into the office, Beav started to cry and ran towards this large and powerfully built man and called him not by his current name of The Sentinel, but by his real name. Beav ran towards him to hug him and the powerfully built man stooped down on one knee and embraced Beav silently for quite some. As even this powerful man teared up some, Sky then ran over to him and joined in the long hug - trying not to tear up but failing...

▪ SOTU Head of Security Suror (aka Orrus The Unstoppable) asked Sky and Beav, "How did both of you know his real name was Endgame"?

▪Endgame (aka The Sentinel) responded whilst hugging Beav and Sky "That my friend is a very...long story...some relationships and experiences are eternal and occur well within...the realm of...The Unexplainable...where is the Captain?...he's not in a good place"...
