I'm not one to complain but the Aethran ID card in the collector pack was a bad idea. I mean one minute you are using it to gain access somewhere and the next you are spending hours in a windowless room being interrogated by Space Force. Be careful out there my brothers and sisters.

Really the complete set. You’ve got new Gladiators, new AniMen, some awesome rookies with Orrus and Tarval and women’s wrestlers are obviously well represented with 4 cards. Azuma, Scorn, Dark Menace, Fist and Siege with a pivotal update tops it off.

I’m about 4 1/2 cards in and the matches are already booking themselves. Lots of drama to work with this year. Godsend has a new feeling to him going up against the Gladiators as does Shayne finally being free from Martial Law. Sometimes existing cards feel like updated when they have big new directions and I’m getting that buzz w both of them.

Siege and Fist are the real deal. I think they’re better than Rush and Turmoil which is saying a lot.

A friend of mine who plays but isn't on the boards (he's shy) has asked me to get clarification.

Flonch appears at ringside with Hyla and occasionally with Tempest as needed. Hyla speaks in a musical manner and Flonch responds to the gentle rhythms of her voice. When Hyla emits a sound of a certain frequency, Flonch responds by coming to her defense. This only occurs when Hyla feels her opponent is cheating and Flonch is hard to hold back as he is very protective of his mistress (and Tempest too!). Sometimes he flies near the opponent, causing a distraction that may give Hyla a chance to get a breather and fight back. Other times he actually attacks Hyla’s opponent, but his attack is so swift that it is a streaky blur that the referee might not see! He butts into the opponent’s head or back and flies away just as quickly, but the damage is done. Hyla may have time to recover.

Note: If you decide to have Flonch try to distract the opponent or the referee in the match roll two dice and play in the usual manner. If the roll is 2-6 the distraction works, play in the normal manner. On rolls of 7-12 the distraction is unsuccessful.

Is this just saying that Flonch is basically a "manager" with a Distractor Rating of 6? He said the use of "play in the normal manner" has him baffled. Also, it says in the description that she may have time to recover--does that mean that she takes over on offense, or that the opponent rolls up on offense, or just that the PIN is unsuccessful?

Is there a Flying Seahorse Magic chart that he missed?

There is no bonus chart. Flonch is basically a manager with a distractor rating of 6 exclusive to Hyla (I think, you might have to check the back of Tempest’s card as well).
