He lives up to his name, Bri but not quite Andre. Been fairly fun so far and I did get at least one win which is better than the last con and a Rock Riddle signed card will be coming my way.

Mid American Title Tournament Part 1
1 Jackie Fargo put away 16 Lanny Poffo (with Jimmy Hart) with the Atomic Drop. Poffo tried a slap and was reversed. He tried a body slam and was reversed. From there, it was all Fargo and though Poffo put up a fight, he fell to the Atomic Drop.
8 Koko Ware (with Eddie Gilbert) edged Tommy Gilbert following the brainbuster. Gilbert nearly had it with his Running Knee Lift but Koko just managed to get a foot on the rope. From there, it was a very even match until Koko hit his Missile Dropkick for a near fall. He followed up with the brainbuster and covered for the pin. Gilbert put a foot on the rope but Eddie knocked it off.
4 Masked Superstar finished off Manny Fernandez with the Cobra Hold. Fernandez gave a tough battle but in the end, Superstar locked on the Cobra and Fernandez could not escape and passed out in the move.
5 Tommy Rich overcame Exotic Adrian Street following a fistdrop. Street was actually doing quite well until the referee got hit by his flying dropkick. Rich then exploded on him. Street would not go down easily but a fistdrop knocked him silly and referee Tommy Marlin ignored Jim Cornette's protests as he counted three.
2 Austin Idol avoided an upset from Hillbilly Jim winning with a jumping knee smash. It looked like Hillbilly might take it but Cornette's interference gave Idol enough of a breather to turn it around. He could never good on the Las Vegas Leglock but a knee smash was enough to take the pin.
7 Bob Armstrong put down 10 King Kong Bundy following several karate chops. The big man nearly had it with the Atlantic City Avalanche, but Bob just managed to escape. He then came battling back and used a knee lift and then the karate chops to put the big man down for the three count as Jimmy Hart had a meltdown.
3 Bill Dundee rolled past Brickhouse Brown with the Superstar Bomb. Brickhouse had his moments but the Superstar was too much in the end and finished him off in short order.
6 Dirty Dutch Mantell battered down Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant with the Double Dutch Clutch. Mantell was all business here and used the Double Dutch Clutch and a handful of tights for the win as Jeff Jarrett missed the cheating.

Mid American Tag Title Tournament Round 1 1 The Fabulous Ones bested 8 The Gilberts when Lane pinned Eddie after the Russian Leg Sweep. The Gilberts got in a few shots but the Fabs were simply too much and won in short order.
4 The Moondogs overcame 5 Southern Rock when Moondog Rex pinned Smothers after the Shoulder Breaker. This went back and forth but a missed top rope splash by Smothers gave Spot an opening and the Moondogs quickly hit the Moondog Drop and then Rex hit the Shoulder Breaker to finish things off.
2 Midnight Express held off a pesky 7 PG-13 when Eaton pinned Wolfie after the Rocket Launcher. D kept the Express guessing and only an escape by Condrey when he was tossed outside to gain control and then a quick Rocket Launcher gave the Express the win.
3 The Fantastics edged 6 The Sheepherders following the Press Slam/Splash combo on Luke Williams. The Herders kept it interesting but in the end, The Fantastics took advantage of some good double teaming before finally putting Williams down after several attempts with one of their finishers with Miller unable to stop the pin.

Ironically, it looks like all the top seeds advanced to the next round of their respective tournaments... Not a single upset in the bunch... Stoked!

Fantastics and Idol had the toughest runs but yep, the higher seeds won....don't know if that will be the case in the next round.

Memphis has been a favorite of mine since Travis sent me the history of the promotion back in the day. Glad I can finally run a proper one. Thanks for the interest.
