(8) Argentina Rocca (3 tokens) d. (25) Ray Stevens (3 tokens)
Stevens started off strong and almost finished Rocca. Rocca is able to stand his ground and recover to score an impressive win over a tough opponent.
Rocca moves on to face (24) Gorgeous George in the next round

(8) Mr Saito (1 token) d. (25) Nikolai Volkoff (5 tokens)
Saito started off strong and controlled the majority of the match keeping the bigger man on his heels. A strong offensive onslaught towards the end of the match finished the Russian. Saito wins with Scorpion Leglock
Saito will face (9) Pepper Gomez in the next round

Northeast Bracket Match 4
(8) Iron Sheik (1 token) d. Lanny Poffo (3 tokens)
Poffo had the majority of the offense but was unable to hit the big moves. In contrast Sheik had very little offense but made it count when he was on offense. He finally made Poffo submit to the Camel Clutch for the win
Iron Sheik moves on to round 2 where he will face (9) Tony Atlas in what should be a hard hitting match

Southeast Bracket Match 4
(8) Curt Hennig (4 tokens) d. (24) Jim Powers (6 tokens)
A resilient Powers gave Hennig a run for his money. Hennig had a lot of offense early but Powers would not stay down. Hennig then had to go on defense as Powers had a moment of explosive offense. Once Hennig regained control it was just a matter of time before he ended the match with the Hennig Plex
Hennig will face (9) Tracy Smothers next

Was very pleased to see Tony Atlas advance (a few matches ago, I know)... That is one wrestling Legend I'm really looking forward to seeing in color!

Really short match as the Sheik had no interest in winning the match just inflicting pain. The Sheik gets disqualified after using a foreign object
Tolos moves on to face the winner of (2) Rikidozan/Fritz Von Goering (31) match

Saint's wrestling style proved to be too much for Baker, who could not figure him out. Baker actually spilled some blood as well. Saint wins by submission with the Three In One
Saint now awaits the winner of the (2) Nick Bockwinkel/ (31) Tommy Gilbert match

Very closely contested match. Definitely the stiffest match of the tournament thus far. Bot men will show the scars of this match as they both left bleeding. Orton picks up the win via stepover toehold
Orton Jr will face the winner of the (2) Roddy Piper/(31) SD Jones match
