Can the use of a manager distraction override the dq on the charts or the holds?

Can the use of a manager distraction override the dq on the charts or the holds? You can roll the distractor rating to see if the manager successfully distracts the referee from seeing the DQ. If the roll is successful, the manager distracts the ref, and the wrestler gets away with the illegal move. If the roll is unsuccessful, the ref ignores the manager's distraction attempt and disqualifies the wrestler. Hope this helps.

Not to overtake the post here ... do you roll the manager interference first or the DQ first?
I used to always roll the pin or DQ first and then the manager interference but I think when i picked the game back up in 2019 I thought I saw somewhere this was wrong so I switched to before the pin attempt.
Not sure which way i like better but i find i roll snake eyes a lot on pins when i least want it to happen and a manager is right there lol.

It’s a tough decision but I believe the official rule would be that you are forced to choose whether or not to run manager interfere BEFORE rolling the DQ, same as you would roll a PIN save before rolling a PIN.
If you run outside interference, distractor ratings and PIN saves AFTER the fact (after the DQ/PIN etc) then you’re going to end up using them all in every match, and that’s no fun. The fun and anxiety comes from choosing WHEN to use all these fun things.
Hope that makes sense!

Man, I can't count the number of times I've had a guy with a PIN rating up to, let's say seven with fatigue tokens, and he gets himself into another pinning situation. I roll for manager distraction and get a ten, then roll for the PIN and get a three or something.
It's just like in real wrestling: sometimes the manager screws up and his or her wrestler gets pinned anyway. If it happens often enough, I use it as a springboard for a story. Does the wrestler dump the manager and turn face? Does the wrestler say he doesn't want the manager's help anymore and get jumped by the rest of the stable? Is the manager TRYING to get his wrestler pinned, to protect someone else he's secretly helping? (Maybe the guy that pinned him.) The sky's the limit!

It makes sense and I know you are correct sir, I made the change for this restart.
Now I feel like that football coach who ends the half with a timeout lol

I can see the value both ways. Nothing worse than building up an awesome match.....and it ends in 3 rolls or less.

I once built up Vengeance vs Overmaster for the belt and AOM beat him in 2 moves. Wasn’t a bummer at all and actually quite memorable. But I understand how it can be viewed as a disappointment too.

I always look at the GWF and legends as “shoots”, like MMA, so totally agree. It happens, but be creative and build a storyline with it
