Didn't Wesley Blake just get signed? Or am I thinking of someone else? 🤔 He's been there for a while. Used to team with Buddy Murphy with Alexa Bliss in NXT Oh yeah, also the Forgotten Sons. Steve Cutler was cut awhile ago, seems odd they kept Blake longer?

WWE could stand to release about 50-60 more wrestlers. AEW too. There are far too many wrestlers in both companies and not enough people training and improving in the indies.
Samoa Joe had a good run but he was injured far too often to ever give a real push to. I get it.

AEW could cut about 60 guys it seems and still have enough for a fed. I like the factions but when you have 20 factions of 5 or 6 that's a bit much.

I can’t even tell if AEW wrestlers have actual contracts. I saw where Moxley showed up at some hardcore show to DDT Nick Gage this past weekend. You’ll never see a WWE guy do that. So I wonder how many wrestlers AEW truly has signed when a lot of them continue to roam the indies.

Based on my discussions with some of the AEW wrestlers who I have seen on Indy shows I have attended, most if not all of the wrestlers in AEW are signed which unfortunately prevents us from getting them in the game but AEW will allow them to work some approved Indy shows. I would not be surprised when PWG returns if there are some AEW wrestlers on the shows due to Excalibur's involvement.

Yeah I would expect that. Yeah, cutting half the roster would probably help but you know the fans...they see others making one shots and they want AEW to sign them as well. Sometime that roster will just become "creative has nothing for you" and if they're lucky getting two minute squashes on Dark once in a while.

If AEW wants a successful RPG they aren’t going to find a better company out there to help them.

Especially since they had special matches designed around that! 😉
