Man wtf. They bring Alistair black back on TV for this dark father story. Have him take out Big E, then release him? Alistair, Murphy and riott would be great for AEW. Was gonna say I could see black coming back to the UK cuz he made his home here for a while but he was mainly with Progress and ICW both of which have that wwe network deal so probably won't happen Just the latest sign that WWE really have no idea what they want to do right now. They have no plan. They are just making it up as they go along. I guess on some level you can't blame them since they lucked into having Nick Khan on the payroll and he's clearly made them enough money to idiot proof them for years.

I guess on some level you can't blame them since they lucked into having Nick Khan on the payroll and he's clearly made them enough money to idiot proof them for years. It's all well and good having money and big network Contracts but it means nothing if they don't have the talent You do know they have well over a hundred wrestlers under contract and a lot of them are just dicking around in Florida and could get called up at a moment's notice and be slotted in as generic, faceless wrestlers on the show because outside of maybe 4-5 talents that's all the wrestlers are in WWE, right? I mean they can run with godawful shit like The Fiend for years because people buy the merch (although after the Orton match at Mania I'm not sure how much goodwill that gimmick has left) and run the same matches month after month after month and nothing's going to change barring the ratings completely tanking which I mean...if they haven't dropped to apocalyptic numbers yet they're probably not going to any time soon. Talent means very little in the grand scheme of things. There's always going to be marks working the indies who have the dream of being a WWE superstar and taking that mark pic with Hunter and being given (in a lot of cases) Wal Mart department manager money to be reprogrammed down in Florida. They'll never run out of talent. Everyone they released today would come back in a heartbeat.

honestly, I'm kind of glad for Heidi.....she was wasted.
Weird they were seeming to push Black and suddenly drop him. And what a fall of grace for Strowman.

Shocked by all of this and there seems to about another 5 names to follow on after these (if social media is to be believed) . It just puzzles me what is Vince thinking . Did he even use some of them wrestlers correctly ? . The future of WWE is concerning . But hopefully this may mean good news for us gamers , future releases . I know some have already had cards released . I suppose some of these name will be going to AEWWE . Its going more like another WWE everyday

At this point they could release Drew McIntyre, Asuka, and the Usos today and it wouldn't surprise me. There are no more "sports entertainers" there, let alone "pro wrestlers". They're all just company employees. It's a soulless corporation with an eye on nothing but the bottom line. These new executives have designs on nothing more than making it "like Marvel comics", which I guess means driving away all of the lifer fans, appealing to no one in general, and becoming an IP farm for other media.

Kinda surprised by a few of these but I can't imagine most will have trouble finding work. I love Braun Strowman as a more serious monster, not a comedy act choo-choo train. Aleister Black has a ton of potential as something akin to a modern day Kevin Sullivan. Ruby Riott is a talent but WWE had never done much longterm with her. Not super shocking there. Lana is no surprise either. Buddy Murphy is kind of surprising since they seemed to like him and kept trying to push him but I guess I'm not sure if they had been doing anything with him lately.

All of these people made it to live TV in the WWE, the very pinnacle of the sport. Most of them wrestled at WM. Same thing. Congrats to those who achieved their dreams. All winners. Nothing to feel mad or bad about. Instead I hope they’re all proud of themselves.

WWE really dropped the ball on all of them. I expect big things for them wherever they end up.
