I'd put money on the streak ending New Year's Day in Houston. Tonight my original plan was to go to the WWE Smackdown house show at MGM Grand (the main event is LA Knight vs Las Vegas's Solo Sikoa in a steel cage,) but I did not get a ticket as my hurt foot is still not up to it. So instead I stayed home and watched Bucks vs Cavaliers on NBA TV. The game ended early (Milwaukee scored 40 in the 3rd and never trailed again) so they also played the ending of 76ers/Rockets game from Houston where the Houston commentators mentioned the Monday game against Detroit and said they are worried about it. |

Today is a great chance for the Pistons should end their streak as their opponents the Toronto Raptors just traded away OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn to the New York Knicks.
I think Toronto made a good trade but I don't think their incoming players will be avaialble yet for them and thus they will be playing today's game with a depleted roster against the Pistons.

Makes me wonder if the NBA knew of the trade and talked them into going thru with it now to get the result that we got. Oh well. Either way the streak is dead. For now.

Another tough loss for the Pistons. Lost by 4 to Golden State and it came down to the foul line. Pistons were 8-10 from the line while Golden State was 21-25. That is 15 more attempts and 13 more points. We had 23 fouls to their 18. Only 5 difference but they got 2 1/2 times the attempts. Pistons need to work on that. Be more aggressive to get shooting fouls to send them to the line more and try and foul a bit less.

4 losses in a row. Just 25 more and we will set the NBA record for most losses in a row. For both a season and overall. I am trying to remember who has the record for most losses in a season at 28.  |
