SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MATCHES YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW FOUR SUBSHOW TWO BELLINGHAM, WAWILL OSPREAY made MATT RIDDLE tap out after an ESSEX DESTROYER
MATCH NOTES: These two put on a show! Ospreay using his agility to wow the ringside fans and Matt Riddle countered with his high-octane ground-pound offense. The victor would be the leader of the United Empire after he landed a breathtaking 630 SENTON followed up with an ESSEX DESTROYER for the submission. (** ½) PNW’s own Melina Cortez was shown in the interview area and announced that the Board of Directors have announced that the finals of the Trios Championship tournament will be at the Pay-Per-View EMERGENCE on Tour Seven Show One! To make it more intense- they have also announced that the three finalists will battle in a Cybernetico styled match! DEM BOYZ slammed DOUBLE JEAPORDY, after MARK BRISCOE used DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE on STEVE CORINO.MATCH NOTES: The team of Double Jeopardy wanted a rematch from their ass beating on Show Two this tour. The team of Steve Corino and Justin Incredible put up a better fight this time but the Sandy Fork natives were simply too much for them. After eight minutes passed, Mark Briscoe tagged out to his brother and the two performed a DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE for the duke. (** ½ )
ROB VAN DAM pinned ADAM PAGE via. FIVE STAR FROG SPLASHMATCH NOTES: ‘Mr. Saturday Night’ ran circles around the Natural Selection member and would put Page on his back after a body scissors cradle! A moment later, RVD came crashing down with a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH for the three count. (* ½ )
ANDRE THE GIANT flattened STAN HANSEN via. BIG SPLASHMATCH NOTES: Andre’s last match this tour was against “The Lariat” and the visiting giant chopped the Texan down to size! In the waning moments, Andre landed a big boot after Hansen came bouncing off the ropes and followed up with a ring shaking BIG SPLASH. ( ½ *) NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE REMATCH MIDNIGHT EXPRESS stunned ROCK-N-ROLL EXPRESS, after BOBBY EATON caught RICKY MORTON in a VEG-A-MATIC
MATCH NOTES: Cornette’s team was all business tonight and had an answer for everything the Rock-n-Roll Express had for them! Lane and Eaton exchanged finishers on the fan favorites but would seal the deal with a VEG-A-MATIC on Ricky Morton. (* ¾ ) EDITOR’S NOTE: Shortly after the broadcast went off the air, an announcement was made that these two teams would face one another in a steel cage at the EMERGENCE PAY-PER-VIEW on Tour Seven Show One.

PNW POWER HOUR YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW FOUR SUBSHOW THREE MOUNT VERNON, WADYNAMITE KID won against KEVIN SULLIVAN by count-outMATCH NOTES: This match was one for the ages as Kevin Sullivan used every dirty trick in the book! Sullivan continued to pull out a string to choke his opponent and would quickly put back in his tights whenever the referee became suspicious. At one point, Fallen Angel would slide a steel chair inside the squared circle but that would backfire as Sullivan would receive a smack across the back with it! The Varsity Club leader crawled out of the ring and headed back to the locker room as he apparently was okay with a count-out loss. (** ½) THE BUTCHER & THE BEAR made quick work of “THE NATURAL” NEIL LAUE & “SENSUOUS” STEVEY E, after IVAN KOLOFF caught STEVEY E with a RUSSIAN SICKLE.MATCH NOTES: Stevey E was more worried about his B.L.O.B. (Big Ladies of Battle) account on his phone than his match with two of the most dangerous individuals in the Pacific Northwest! After only a couple of minutes, Ivan caught the enhancement talent with a RUSSIAN SICKLE to end the bout. (SQUASH) MIKE ROTUNDA cheated past DAVEY BOY SMITH, after MIKE ROTUNDA put away DAVEY BOY SMITH with a back elbow smash.MATCH NOTES: Mike Rotunda took advantage of Steve Williams being in his corner as the two would use the illegal Varsity clubbing several times. After Smith was thrown down onto the ringside floor, Rotunda would argue with the referee, and Williams would blast the British born native with a running shoulder block before tossing him back into the ring, Rotunda used a back elbow smash on his prone opponent before rolling Smith over for the easy three count. (* ½)
AUSSIE OPEN squeezed by LONG RIDERS, after MARK DAVIS used a Pop-up Powerbomb against BILL IRWINMATCH NOTES: A great match! The momentum swung both ways on several occasions this bout and every finisher was used but could not garner the three count. At the nine minute mark, the team of Aussie Open used a Pop-up Powerbomb on an exhausted Bill Irwin to get their arms lifted in victory. (*** ¾) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH KIMALA, THE UGANDAN GIANT lucked out against BRUISER BRODY by disqualification.MATCH NOTES: The referee couldn’t keep control of the participants from the opening bell and on several times tried to get both combatants inside the ring to no avail. The national Champion (Brody) would lose his cool and tried to choke out his opponent with some of the cables at ringside. The referee called for the bell and awarded the match to Kimala as a result of a disqualification. (1/2 *) EDITOR’S NOTE: Shortly after the match ended, the Board of Directors announced that the PNW National Championship will be up for grabs between the current champion (Bruiser Brody) and Kimala in a Texas Bullrope Match. The Board also made the stipulation that no one from PNW will be allowed at ringside!

EMERGENCEYEAR ONE TOUR SEVEN SHOW ONE TACOMA, WASHANE STRICKLAND won against ROB VAN DAMM by disqualification.MATCH NOTES: The arena erupted when “Big Pressure” began playing over the sound system and dueling chants of “Who’s house?’ and “Swerve’s House” echoed throughout. The opening was longer than the bout as Strickland tossed “Mr. Saturday Night” into the ropes but would be caught with a flying scissor kick that garnered a two count from the referee. RVD wasn’t playing around apparently and executed a Van Daminator that caused the official to call for the bell. Strickland’s debut was a win by disqualification, and he didn’t look at all pleased. (1/2 *)
TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS: NATURAL SELECTION (COLE/CIAMPA/STRONG) outlasted VARSITY CLUB (SULLIVAN/WILLIAMS/ROTUNDA) and UNITED EMPIRE (TJP/FLETCHER/DAVIS), after ADAM COLE caught KEVIN SULLIVAN with a PANAMA SUNRISE. MATCH NOTES: The finals of the Trios tournament did not disappoint as there were a plethora of high spots performed by Natural Selection and the united Empire. The Varsity Club, however, stuck with what they know best- to beat the living snot out of their opponents!
The action was intense for about ten minutes until Kyle Fletcher was tossed out onto the arena floor by Sullivan. Who, in turn, turned around only to meet with a PANAMA SUNRISE by Adam Cole! The referee slapped the canvas three times, and the Pacific Northwest had their first Trios Champions crowned. (**)
LUCHA BROTHERS shocked the ROAD WARRIORS (w/ PAUL ELLERING), after PENTA EL ZERO M used the PENTAGON DRIVER on HAWK MATCH NOTES: No fear is right! Penta and Fenix went balls to the wall to keep the Legion of Doom reeling throughout this contest! Don’t get me wrong as Hawk and Animal gave as much as they received (including two DOOMSDAY DEVICES on Rey and one on Penta) but the undefeated streak came to an end after a PENTAGON DRIVER put Hawk down for the count. (*** ½) PNW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH BRUISER BRODY (ch) squeezed by KIMALA, THE UGANDAN GIANT; after BRUISER blasted KIMALA with a JUMPING KNEE DROPMATCH NOTES: A blood bath! Both participants used the bull rope to their advantage and both combatants were covered in crimson by the end of the match! Kimala came out with his proverbial “guns a blazing” and seemed to surprise the New Mexico native with two UGANDAN SPLASHES! However, the champion battled back with vicious moves as well (including hanging the Ugandan from the top rope with the bull rope) before retaining the title with a devastating JUMPING KNEE DROP. (*** ½) PNW NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH STEEL CAGE MATCH ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS regained National Tag team Championships after MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ CORNETTE), after RICKY MORTON used a CROSSBODY BLOCK on BOBBY EATON.MATCH NOTES: A great match! It looked like Rock & Roll Express was going to win earlier in the bout with a DOUBLE DROPKICK on Stan Lane that had Gibson running for the cage door to escape. Jim Cornette had other plans as he slammed the cage door on Robert Gibson preventing him from leaving!
As the match progressed, the Midnight Express looked more and more uncomfortable inside the steel cage. That fact would read its ugly head around the twenty-minute mark after Ricky Morton performed a CROSSBODY BLOCK from the top of the cage down onto ‘Beautiful’ Bobby for the count. (** ½)

WEEKDAY GRIND YEAR ONE TOUR SEVEN SHOW TWO AURORIA, ORNIKITA KOLOFF blasted NACHO BARRERA with a RUSSIAN SICKLEMATCH NOTES: “Nachomania” was running wild in the opening moments of the bout until the Mexican born wrestler tossed Nikita into the ropes. Nikita ducked a double hammer and came bounding off the ropes with a RUSSIAN SICKLE for the three count. (SQUASH) TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH NATURAL SELECTION (STRONG/COLE/CIAMPA) smacked around “THE NATURAL” NEIL LAUE, “SENSUOUS” STEVIE-E, and ‘DANGEROUS’ DANNY STRONG; after CIAMPA used PROJECT CIAMPA on “DANGEROUS” DANNY STRONG MATCH NOTES: This match could be described as Natural Selection against “Dangerous” Danny as Stevie-E constantly tried to convert “The Natural” Neil Laue to his way of thinking about politics until Neil finally had enough and donkey punched the New York native. Inside the squared circle, “Dangerous” Danny was being passed around and beaten like a two-dollar steak until Ciampa executed PROJECT CIAMPA for the easy win. (SQUASH) KEVIN SULLIVAN cheated by TJP with a foreign object.MATCH NOTES: The United Empire member was running circles around the Varsity Club leader until TJP was blasted with what appeared to be brass knuckles! It was all academic at that point as Sullivan used a half-hearted body slam and covered his opponent for the count. (*** ½) MIDNIGHT EXPRESS upset ROAD WARRIORS, after BOBBY EATON used a top rope elbow on ANIMALMATCH NOTES: A real slobber knocker!! A great back and forth contest but the mystique of the Road Warriors seems to be fading as they have lost both their matches this time around! The end of the match witnessed Animal use a POWER SLAM on Bobby but Cornette stuck his nose in the match (of course he did)! While the referee was distracted, Stan Lane gave Animal a low blow to remember him by and quickly jumped out of the ring. Eaton climbed to the turnbuckle and came crashing down with a top rope elbow…1-2-3!!! (****) SHANE STRICKLAND put away ROB VAN DAMM via. JML DRIVERMATCH NOTES: Strickland’s manager (Prince Nana) was furious after the two tangled at the EMERGENCE Pay-Per-View and wanted another go around with “Mr. Saturday Night”. For the majority of the bout, Strickland controlled the match and used a SWERVE STOMP and a JML DRIVER combo to put RVD’s shoulders to the canvas. (**)

NIKITA KOLOFF wins!!! HELL YEAAAAAH! Match number 2 was hilariously EPIC! Neil donkey punched Steve E and put him on dream street. SWERVE is one of my favorite wrestlers going today and beating RVD is just gravy for an awesome card!
