That Sullivan is one shady character! I can see Ciampa being a tough fight for Doc. Which Corino are you using? Legends or ROH? Thank u for dropping in... I am using the Legends version

WEEKDAY GRIND YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW TWO MARYSVILLE, WAThe show started with Melina Cortez announcing that the Board of Directors had a press conference earlier today to state a Trios Tournament will be held to determine the first ever PNW Trios Champions! This first match will be held on this very card and the finals will occur on the Pacific North West’s newest Pay-Per-View- EMERGENCE!
Stan Hansen (and his new manager, Jimmy Hart) walked into the interview area and grabbed the microphone from ‘the prettiest girl in wrestling’. Hansen spit out a big clump of tobacco from his cheek onto the floor and began spouting off. “One Man Gang, you son of a b*tch! First thing that one finds yourself telling me to bring it and that you are not afraid?!? Next thing you know, your worthless hide shows up here in the PNW, roll that big backside of yours into one of my matches, and then bring all the weight down on me like a 747-jet plane…buuut…then you disappear?!? What’s a matter boy? You yella? Maybe that big roly-poly a$$ is chicken…maybe…”Hansen throws the microphone onto the floor and once again spits tobacco juice onto the camera lens! ADAM COLE pinned WILL OSPREAY with PANAMA SUNRISEMATCH NOTES: A great opening contest! The perspective leaders of the United Empire and Natural Selection finally collided! Both left everything in the squared circle and every finisher that the two have were employed as well! Adam Cole would come out on top this time around after a breathtaking PANAMA SUNRISE to put Ospreay’s shoulders to the canvas. (****) BRITISH BULLDOGS mangled BROSERWEIGHTS, after DYNAMITE KID used a DIVING HEADBUTT on PETE DUNNEMATCH NOTES: The Bulldogs easily handled the Broserweights with very little resistance. At the five-minute mark, Dynamite Kid came off the top turnbuckle with a DIVING HEADBUTT on Pete Dunne for the victory. (*1/2) ANDRE THE GIANT downed ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER via. BIG SPLASHMATCH NOTES: The Sudanese Nightmare looked more like a sleepless night after he missed an early turnbuckle charge. Andre used some big chops to bring Abdullah down to the mat and used two consecutive BIG SPLASHES for the three count. (*1/2) TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH UNITED EMPIRE (AUSSIE OPEN/TJP) throttled DEVASTATION INCORPORATED (LONG RIDERS/KIMALA), after KYLE FLETCHER put “WILD” BILL IRWIN with a GRIMSTONEMATCH NOTES: Sheik Adnan-Casey brought his three men into a match that they were simply outclassed as Kyle Fletcher had his way with Bill Irwin! The Australian landed a Michinoko Driver and a GRIMSTONE on Irwin for the easy win. (1/2*) KENNY OMEGA defeated “THE BASTARD” PAC with an ONE-WINGED ANGELMATCH NOTES: Wow! This was amazing and the Marysville arena witnessed a match for the ages! There were a lot of (as the old-time wrestling fans call) ‘flippity-floppity’ over the top rope onto the floor and several moves that utilized the ring ropes. Kenny Omega had done his homework as anytime that PAC would even look like he was going to attempt the BLACK ARROW – ‘the Cleaner’ would roll underneath the ropes!!
This frustrated PAC and he lost concentration long enough for the HCCW star to clamp on a Kotaro Crusher and followed up with a ONE-WINGED ANGEL to have his hand raised in victory. (****)

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MATCHES YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW TWO SUBSHOW TWO MOUNT VERNON, WASTAN HANSEN pummeled NACHO BARRERA with a Brazos Valley neckbreakerMATCH NOTES: This match went as expected! Hansen humiliated Nachomania while talking trash about the One Man Gang and jaw-jacking with the arena crowd. After a nasty Borger body slam, the Texan used a Brazos Valley neckbreaker to score the easy win. (SQUASH) VARSITY CLUB (w/ FALLEN ANGEL) lost to LUCHA BROTHERS, after PENTA EL ZERO M used a PENTAGON DRIVER on KEVIN SULLIVAN.MATCH NOTES: A great match! Both teams were tearing the house down and had several near falls including one where Fallen Angel placed Kevin Sullivan’s foot on the bottom rope to stop the referee from slapping the canvas for a third time. However, the end would come only moments later after Penta El Zero M blasted Sullivan with a PENTAGON DRIVER for the pin. (*** ¾) TERRY GORDY thumped ‘HANGMAN’ ADAM PAGE via. BAMM BAMM SLAMMATCH NOTES: The action went back and forth for a little bit. Adam Page gained the upper hand, climbed the top turnbuckle, and gave a signal for a falling elbow. Gordy had other plans as he caught Page in midflight and used his finisher for the three count. (***) ‘DEM BOYZ annihilated DOUBLE JEOPARDY, after MARK BRISCOE used DAY 1 on JUSTIBLE CREDIBLEMATCH NOTES: Do not let the match rating fool you because this was an old-fashioned ass beating! The Briscoes beat Justin Credible and Steve Corino within an inch of their lives. Luckily for the hardcore legends, the match finally ended after the Briscoes used DUAL SUPER KICKS on Justin Credible. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH BRUISER BRODY (ch) retained against IVAN KOLOFF with a JUMPING KNEE DROPMATCH NOTES: The challenger put up a little fight, but Brody put an end to that after a one-hand body clam. After a JUMPING KNEE DROP, that is all she wrote and Bruiser Brody was victorious (1/2*)

PNW POWER HOUR YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW TWO SUBSHOW THREE BELLINGHAM, WATOMMASO CIAMPA beat ROB VAN DAM by count-out MATCH NOTES: Not a lot to talk about in this contest! Both combatants exchanged blows for a few minutes until RVD tossed Ciampa out onto the ringside floor. “Mr. Saturday Night” attempted a springboard moonsault but would crash and burn! Ciampa rolled back into the squared circle and the referee proceeded to count his opponent out. The official awarded the match to Tommaso Ciampa as a result of a count-out. (DUD) RODERICK STRONG outlasted “DR. DEATH” STEVE WILLIAMS with a SICK KICKMATCH NOTES: These two put on a show and battled for almost twelve minutes. Strong would use an Argentinian Backbreaker to set up the SICK KICK for the victory. “Dr. Death” was visibly upset, and he let everyone know about it! Out from the interview area walked Kevin Sullivan and he climbed between the ring ropes to approach Williams. Sullivan whispered something in William’s ear and handed him what appeared to be an Oklahoma University letter jacket. Williams stood there for a moment, nodded his head in approval, and the two walked to the locker room together. (*** ½) NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS upset MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, after RICKY MORTON used a Slingshot Stomp on STAN LANE.MATCH NOTES: A great match! These two teams know one another well and that fact showed throughout this bout! Move met countermove and neither side would gain too much of advantage for too long.
In the waning moments, the R-n-R Express used a DOUBLE DROPKICK on Stan Lane but Cornette was able to distract the referee long enough for Bobby Eaton to break up the pin attempt! This, however, was for naught as Morton would land a slingshot stomp to guarantee a title shot during the next show. (** ½)

WEEKDAY GRIND YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW THREE ABBOTSFORD, ONTARIO ANDRE THE GIANT flattened IVAN KOLOFF via. BIG SPLASH
MATCH NOTES: Another one-sided affair with the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World!’ Andre just toyed with the Russian Bear and used several sitdown splashes to set up the feared BIG SPLASH for the duke. (*) In the interview area, Melina Cortez stood next to American Midwest Wrestling star, Don Leo Johnathon. Melina smiled as she began the interview, “Don, it is a pleasure to have you here in the PNW. I assume you have something to say and now is the chance to say it.”
Johnathon paused a moment before speaking, “Yes, that is true Melina and the person I am here to challenge is a very tough individual. Although, I will not fight him in his own way- brawling and back alley fighting! He can take a lot of punishment and I think I might have to do is wrestle and give him an old fashion wrestling lesson.”Melina asked whom Johnathon was talking about. “Well Melina, I am talking about Stan ‘The Lariat’ Hansen and I want to show the world that I am…”The AMW star was interrupted by Mabel (Hansen’s cow bell) hitting his head from behind! Hansen continued to beat on the visiting star as Jimmy Hart yelled encouraging words to his protégé. After Hansen was convinced that Don had enough, he grabbed the microphone from a frightened Melina Cortez and yelled “Challenge accepted!” toward the camera. TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH VARSITY CLUB & STEVE WILLIAMS thrashed DOUBLE JEAPORDY & ROB VAN DAM, after STEVE WILLIAMS used an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE on ROB VAN DAMMATCH NOTES: Kevin Sullivan seemed to unleash the beast inside of ‘Dr. Death’ because he whipped the tar out of his opponents. After only four minutes, the Oklahoma native executed an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE on RVD for the three count.
Terry Gordy walked down the entrance ramp and tried to find out what was going on with Williams leaving the Miracle Violence Connection. Williams simply stated to leave him alone and walked past his former partner. (*2/3) WILL OSPREAY pinned ADAM COLE with an ESSEX DESTROYERMATCH NOTES: These two had a great match on the last edition of the WEEKDAY GRIND and both wanted another go at it! Well, this match was fan-tastic! The action went back and forth for over seventeen minutes with the arena fans on their feet on their feet almost every second of the match! Ospreay would tie up the series after Adam Cole missed a turnbuckle charge and staggered into an ESSEX DESTROYER to end the bout. (***1/2) YOUNG BUCKS humiliated LUCHA BROTHERS, after NICK JACKSON blasted PENTA ZERO M with an INDYTAKERMATCH NOTES: With the last match prior to this one on the card was too awesome, this match was as equally awful! The Young Bucks made the Lucha Brothers look like amateurs and the Bucks would put away Penta Zero M with an early INDYTAKER. (1/2*)

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MATCHES YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW THREE SUBSHOW TWO VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIANATURAL SELECTION (CIAMPA/STRONG) shutdown AUSSIE OPEN, after RODERICK STRONG used STRONGHOLD on KYLE FLETCHERMATCH NOTES: There is really not much to say about this match as both teams seemed to be phoning this one in. After a lackluster knee to the corner by Ciampa, the Sicilian tagged out to his Natural Selection teammate. Strong dragged Kyle Fletcher to the center of the ring and used STRONGHOLD for the win. (3/4*) TJP made “THE BASTARD” PAC look foolish with a Clutch Dagger MATCH NOTES: Once again, not much here! TJP ran circles around the Death Triangle member and would put PAC’s shoulders down to the canvas after a Clutch Dagger maneuver. (*) ‘DEM BOYZ brutalized BROSERWEIGHTS (RIDDLE/DUNNE), after MARK BRISCOE used a CUT-THROAT DRIVER on MATT RIDDLEMATCH NOTES: The boys from Sandy Fork laid into their opponents and the Broserweights had no answer for the Briscoes! After four rough minutes, Mark Briscoe used a CUT-THROAT DRIVER on Riddle to put an end to the beating. (1/2*) ‘THE HANGMAN” ADAM PAGE defeated TERRY GORDY via. RITE OF PASSAGE
MATCH NOTES: The action would go back and forth for several minutes with neither gaining the advantage. However, Page would poke Terry Gordy in the eye with his finger causing Gordy to let his guard down for just a moment. The Natural Selection star used this to his advantage and landed a short-arm clothesline before executing a RITE OF PASSAGE for the duke. (*1/2) NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS ended MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) time as champions, after RICKY MORTON caught BOBBY EATON with a CROSSBODY BLOCK.MATCH NOTES: O-M-G!! This match has to be the best match (or at least Top 3) ever rolled in the PNW! There were numerous turn arounds, false pinfalls, three schoolboy roll ups, and an exuberant amount of time that Jim Cornette spent poking his nose where it did not belong! After a grueling twenty-two minutes had passed, Ricky Morton would catch Bobby Eaton in a CROSSBODY BLOCK to become the new PNW National Tag Team Champions! (*****)

PNW POWER HOUR YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW THREE SUBSHOW THREE PORT McNEILL, BRITISH COLUMBIATEXAS DEATHMATCH STAN HANSEN bloodied ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER with a LARIATMATCH NOTES: A blood bath! Steel chairs, cables at ringside, the timekeeper’s bell, and anything/everything else that these two could get their hands on that wasn’t bolted down were used. Both competitors were covered in crimson and if you are squeamish- this match was not for you! The former PNW number one draft pick caught Abdullah with a brutal LARIAT and managed to finally cover him for the three count. (****) BRITISH BULLDOGS won against LONG RIDERS, after “WILD” BILL IRWIN was counted-out against DYNAMITE KID.MATCH NOTES: This was an evenly contested bout! However, Bill Irwin couldn’t regain his footing after Dynamite Kid used a springboard moonsault on the outside of the ring and would be counted-out. (*3/4) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH KIMALA, THE UGANDAN GIANT shocked BRUISER BRODY (ch) with a chest claw.MATCH NOTES: WOW! The arena was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop at the end of this match as everyone was in shock of the outcome! Kimala used everything in his arsenal (even a TOP ROPE SPLASH) to have the National Champion on his heels. At the nine-minute mark, Bruiser Brody passed out from Kimala’s chest claw to set up a titleshot in the near future. (***1/2)

WEEKDAY GRIND YEAR ONE TOUR SIX SHOW FOUR VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIATJP OUTLASTED “BRUISERWEIGHT” PETE DUNNEMATCH NOTES: A back and forth match with both participants playing to their strengths but it would be TJP’s quickness that would win the day! After Dunne attempted a Kimura Lock, TJP countered with a head scissor crucifix submission and flipped the script with a FIGURE FOUR DEATHLOCK to garner the victory! (***) The prettiest interviewer in the PNW (Melina Cortez) stood in the interview area with Andre the Giant. Melina smiled before asking, “Andre, you have made your presence known here in the Pacific Northwest and have beaten everyone that has stepped into the squared circle across from you. With you having only one more show before you head to another territory, who do you plan on facing?”
Andre thought for a moment, “Melina, there has been a loudmouth here in PNW. I am tired of him spitting on the ground and disrespecting everyone. You know Melina, chewing tobacco is a disgusting habit. (Melina raises an eyebrow and nods her head) I am challenging Stan Hansen to a match next show and if he pulls out that cowbell- I will pull out these.” (Andre balls up both his fists and covers the camera entirely) TERRY GORDY WON AGAINST STEVE WILLIAMS by disqualificationMATCH NOTES: Terry Gordy wanted this match for the chance to get a little bit of revenge after Williams turned his back on Gordy to join the Varsity Club. This match was marred by interference from the Varsity Club and Fallen Angel and whenever the Tennessee native would gain the upper hand one of William’s teammates would stick their nose in the bout.
Gordy downed Steve Williams with a brutal running elbow and executed the feared BAMM BAMM SLAM. As he covered his opponent, the entirety of the Varsity Club stormed into the ring and attacked him! The referee called for the bell and awarded the bout to Terry Gordy as a result of a disqualification. Luckily, Gordy was able to roll out oof the squared circle before any significant harm was inflicted. (** ½) TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH NATURAL SELECTION (CIAMPA/STRONG) & ADAM PAGE cheated DEATH TRIANGLE, after ADAM COLE used PANAMA SUNRISE on REY FENIXMATCH NOTES: A wild match! The high-flying antics of Death Triangle always thrills the arena fans and this was no different as they ran circles around the trio of Natural Selection. That is, of course, before the referee was caught in the corner by a missed turnbuckle charge! Adam Page took full advantage of the official being out and used a low blow to bring Rey Fenix down to his knees. A moment later, Adam Cole came off the rope with a PANAMA SUNRISE for the win.
