Stoked to see Abdullah & Koloff invading yet another promotion as the Butcher & the Bear... That being said, I'm happy the Bulldogs were able to eke out a win over the potent pair... It ALMOST makes up for RVD being ousted from the title tournament... ALMOST!

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MATCHESYEAR ONE TOUR ONE SHOW FOUR
EUREKA, CA
- BRUISER BRODY pulverized DONALD JONES JR. via. JUMPING KNEE DROP (SQUASH);
- "BRUISERWEIGHT" PETE DUNNE outlasted JUSTIN CREDIBLE by count-out
MATCH NOTES: Both participants fired on all cylinders! Several high impact moves kept the ringside fans on their feet and the crowd started to chat "This is Awesome". The final moments witnessed Pete Dunne using the BITTER END on Credible but the hardcore icon was too close to the ring apron and simply rolled out onto ringside floor to avoid the pin attempt. The New Jersey borne star wouldn't get to his feet fast enough to beat the ten count. The official awarded the bout to Pete Dunn as result of a count-out. (****)
- "DR. DEATH" STEVE WILLIAMS busted up "BALTIMORE" BOB with a football tackle (SQUASH);
- ROCK-N-ROLL EXPRESS won against THE BUTCHER AND THE BEAR, after Ricky Morton used a CROSSBODY BLOCK on Abdullah the Butcher
MATCH NOTES: These two teams matched up well as there were several false finishes on both sides. The Express used their quickness and their opponents countered with their power advantage. Ricky Morton would use a CROSSBODY BLOCK on Abdullah (with Gibson on his hands and knees behind the Butcher) to garner the three count. (** 3/4)
National Championship Tournament Match:
- KEVIN SULLIVAN (w/ FALLEN ANGEL) upset TERRY GORDY via. DOUBLE FOOT STOMP
MATCH NOTES: Terry Gordy should have won this bout but Fallen Angel would place Kevin Sullivan's foot on the bottom rope after a POWER BOMB. "Bam Bam" became distracted and began to argue with the referee about the legality of the action taken. Sullivan would recover, sneak up from behind Gordy, and hit him with a low blow on the Tennessee native! A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP later, Kevin Sullivan waits in the final round for an opponent after his hand was raised in victory. (***)
NOTE: Stan Hansen has been in PNW's sister fed (HCW) and will return to face Bruiser Brody in a National Championship Tournament Match. The winner will face Abdullah the Butcher to decide the opponent against Kevin Sullivan for the PNW National Championship!

THE WEEKDAY GRINDYEAR ONE TOUR ONE SHOW FOUR SUBSHOW TWO
RED BLUFFS, CA
- DAVEY BOY SMITH beat LA MASCARA NEGRA with a falling power slam (SQUASH) - STAN LANE beat MIKE ROTUNDA with a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPMATCH NOTES: The action went back and forth for a few minutes and seemed like there wouldn't be any hijinks in the match. Oh boy, that theory was w-a-y off! The other Varsity Club members (Kevin Sullivan and Fallen Angel) would attack Lane whenever he was outside on the arena floor. On the other side of the coin, Lane executed a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP but Rotunda countered with a school boy roll up that would bring Cornette to the ring apron. The lanky manager would try to interfere but Stan Lane would power through the roll up and send Rotunda into Cornette! This sent Lane's manager to the concrete floor and Rotunda distracted enough for the Midnight Express member to execute another RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP to secure the three count. (*** 1/2)- MAGNUM TA downed NACHO BERRARA via. BELLY TO BEELY SUPLEX (SQUASH) - DOUBLE JEOPARDY (JUSTIN CREDIBLE/STEVE CORINO) outwrestled FREEBIRDS, after Steve Corino used a fisherman suplex on Jimmy GarvinMATCH NOTES: Not much to say about this contest as the hardcore team ran circles around the Freebirds. Steve Corino would end the bout with a fisherman suplex on a shell shocked Garvin. (* 1/2)- BIG VAN VADER pummeled ROB VAN DAMM via. RELEASE POWER BOMBMATCH NOTES: A lot of nothing happened in this slap fight! Vader would score a near pinfall early with a front slam and seemed like the match would pick up. Sadly, the other highlight worth mentioning would be a RELEASE POWER BOMB that the beast would pin "Mister Saturday Night" for the three. (1/2 *)

A little confused with Double Jeopardy... You've got Credible and Candido listed as the team, but Corino as the one who scored the pinfall... TRIPLE Jeopardy perhaps?

Gold Coast, OREXCERPT FROM HCW'S TOUR ONE SHOW FOUR NIGHT ONE: STAN ‘THE LARIAT’ HANSEN & ‘UNBREAKABLE’ MICHAEL ELGIN vs YOUNG BUCKS
Before the bell, the Bucks called Elgin a traitor and questioned his loyalty to the Temple and the Believers. He urged the Believers to boo him out of the temple and never for get this ‘Benedict Arnold’. As the final instructions were being given by the referee, Hansen struck first. And the match was on. 15 tokens were handed out and Hansen survived “More Bang For Your Buck” and the “Indy Taker”. The Jacksons in-turn survived Elgin’s Buckle Bomb and a Lariat that nearly knocked Matt Jackson’s clean off his head. Kenny Omega made an appearance, but Dario came out of his office and ordered him out of the ringside area. The end came when Hansen pinned Nick Jackson after ‘Lariat”
WINNERS: MICHAEL ELGIN AND STAN HANSEN
NATIONAL TAG CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:
VARSITY CLUB (KEVIN SULLIVAN/MIKE ROTUNDA) slipped by ROCK AND ROLL EXPRESS, after Kevin Sullivan put down Ricky Morton with a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP

MATCH NOTES: The two teams gave it there all in this match and left everything in the squared circle! Neither team seemed to budge, but all things must end, and after a missed turnbuckle charge by Morton- Sullivan used a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP to have the Varsity Club move to the final round of the tournament.
BOBO BRAZIL shutdown IVAN KOLOFF via. COCO BUTTS
MATCH RATING: *
MATCH NOTES: Bobo fought back from an early offensive flurry from Koloff and would catch the 'Russian Bear' in a series of COCO BUTTS for the victory.
NATIONAL TAG CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:
MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION (WILLIAMS/GORDY) outlasted BRITISH BULLDOGS (DAVEY BOY SMITH/ DYNAMITE KID), after Terry Gordy bloodied Dynamite Kid via. POWER BOMB
MATCH RATING: ****
MATCH NOTES: A fantastic match! It would be hard to top the previous tag match but these four men did exactly that! About the twenty minute mark, the technical aspect of wrestling went out the window and the duo went full on violence! After an Oriental Spike, an exhausted Dynamite Kid would be the recipient of a POWER BOMB by Gordy for the MVC to move on to meet Varsity Club in the finals.
Melina Cortez stood quietly in the interview area for a few moments and lifted up the microphone up to her mouth. "Ladies and gentlemen, I have the honor of announcing the first ever Pay-Per-View for the Pacific Northwest Promotion. On Tour Two Show Two Subshow Two, the finals of both National Championships will take place as well as several other exciting bouts. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at all Tacoma, WA venues...don't miss...ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIOT!" (The arena erupts in excitement)NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:
BRUISER BRODY won against STAN HANSEN with a big foot to the faceMATCH RATING: 1/2 * MATCH NOTES: These two behemoths smacked around the other for several minutes until Hansen accidently clipped the referee trying to come off the top rope! Suddenly, Kenny Omega stormed the ring and blasted both Hansen and Brody several times with a steel chair!! As Omega jumped over the guardrails, Terry Funk came running down and entered the ring as well. The legend proceeded to beat 'The Lariat' to a bloody mess with his branding iron before heading back to the locker room. Not knowing about Funk's interference, the battered Brody lifted his bloodied opponent and used a big boot to Hansen's face to end this tragedy of a match.

- MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) thumped DAVEY DONAVON & "POWERFUL" PAUL BARROWS, after Bobby Eaton downed Davey Donavon via. VEG-O-MATIC (SQUASH)
MAGNUM TA stunned BIG VAN VADER via. BEELY TO BELLY SUPLEX
MATCH NOTES: These two behemoths battled back and forth for a bit. Vader missed a moonsault attempt that would make the bout a one-sided affair because Magnum TA would quickly capitalize with a BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX (* 1/2)
The camera zoomed out as a saddle was thrown onto a horse and the familiar sound of tobacco spit hitting the ground echoed. Stan Hansen was still wearing bandages from the brutal attack by Omega and Funk on the last episode of PNW POWER HOUR and looked menacingly into the camera.
"Okay boys," Hansen started, "you want to step into my yard and bark like a dog after catching it's own tail? Well, I will tell you now that no longer will I sit here like a bullfrog on a pile of [censored]." Stan grabbed his bull rope and held it up to the camera and continued, "I am talking to you Terry Funk! You think that you're going to make a name for yourself but you have wandered too far out of the corral. You wanna hit me with that branding iron?!? Why don't you try that while I'm standing? Come to the PNW next week and face me man to man...you probably don't have the guts."
He spit tobacco juice onto the grass and smiled. "Now to that yellow Kenny Omega and those pretty Young Sucks team, I have found two tough hombres arriving soon and they promised me that they'll take care of the Young Sucks. I know that Omega does not have the [censored] to face me one on one...so, at the ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIOT, how about you and your long haired [censored] against me and my soon arriving friends? Bring your 'A' game because this cactus is going to tan your hyde!" BROSERWEIGHTS pummeled DOUBLE JEOPARDY, after Pete Dunne used BITTER END on STEVE CORINOMATCH NOTES: The Broserweights pretty much controlled the tempo throughout the match. After several minutes, Pete Dunne use BITTER END on Corino to have his team's hands raised in victory. (** 3/4)National Championship Tournament Match
BRUISER BRODY won against ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER via. JUMPING KNEE DROP MATCH NOTES: This contest was everywhere! They fought inside the ring, out on the ringside area, in the crowds, and even took the confrontation to the restrooms. Both participants took advantage of the no disqualification of the round and hit one another with whatever they could get their hands on. Finally, the action returned inside the squared circle and Brody managed to get the 'Sudanese Nightmare' on his back. The New Mexico native brought a JUMPING KNEE DROP to pin his adversary and will meet Kevin Sullivan in the tournament finals. (** 1/2)
