THE WEEKDAY GRINDYEAR ONE TOUR TWO SHOW TWO LONGVIEW, WA
- HARLEM HEAT debut was successful against LOS CONQUISTADORS, after Stevie Ray pinned Los Conquistador #1 via. TOWERING INFERNO (SQUASH)- BOBO BRAZIL outwrestled MIKE ROTUNDA via. COCO BUTT MATCH NOTES: This bout could have went either way as Mike Rotunda controlled the early minutes of the bout and looked like he was going to run away with it. However, Bobo battled back and used a running clothesline to set up a series of COCO BUTTS for the victory. (*** 1/2) - MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION thumped DONALD JONES JR. & TIM MATHEWS, after Steve Williams leveled Donald Jones Jr. with an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE (SQUASH) *SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH* - TERRY FUNK (with JIMMY HART) cheated by STAN HANSEN with a school boy roll up MATCH NOTES: Jimmy Hart unexpectedly came to the ring with Terry Funk and was his usual mouthy self. This match was a wild one as these two battled in and out of the ring and gave no quarter! Funk even executed a moonsault that caught the Wildman by surprise and Hansen actually used a wrestling move- ya know- an armbar! Hansen landed a LARIAT that looked like it took Funk's head off but Jimmy Hart jumped up to the ring apron to distract the referee (while he threw his megaphone into the ring). Terry Funk took advantage of this and blasted Hansen with the bullhorn and rolled his unconscious opponent up for the three count. (** 1/2)

Very sorry about your father's passing, my friend... Hope you're doing alright. The action continues to deliver... Pleased that Bobo scored that big win on the last show... Great stuff! Thank you Pariah for your kind words! I am doing alright but like I just told OTE- I am still having some issues with returning to daily life. Luckily, I have a few more days off before returning to work. Thank you for being so kind on the review of the last card...it was a "gimme" as most matches were enhancement matches because I needed to catch up for the week. The SCP feds have to post at least once a week and I didn't want to break one of the rules that I voted for as well. Next card is the PNW's first PPV and it was fun to play...hopefully, it comes off as awesome it was to dive head first into the universe again. thanks for stopping in my little corner of the galaxy.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIOTYEAR ONE TOUR TWO SHOW TWO SUBSHOW TWO TACOMA,WAIVAN KOLOFF squeezed by ROB VAN DAMM by disqualification. MATCH RATING: * MATCH NOTES: The Russian Bear started the match by punishing "Mr. Saturday Night" and even used the RUSSIAN SICKLE for a two count! The Michigan native battled back and would nearly pin his opponent with a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH as well. RVD became increasingly frustrated after he couldn't get Ivan's shoulders down on the canvas and attempted a Van Daminator but the referee wasn't going to put up with any shenanigans and disqualified the fan favorite for the illegal maneuver.
NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINAL VARSITY CLUB (KEVIN SULLIVAN/MIKE ROTUNDA) won against MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION, after Kevin Sullivan used a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP on Steve Williams MATCH RATING: * MATCH NOTES: The momentum shifted back and forth for close to ten minutes with neither team able to gain the advantage. Terry Gordy would strike first with a POWER BOMB that would have pinned Rotunda if not for Sullivan's intervention. A wild brawl ensued with the official being able to regain order quickly, Rotunda and Gordy both managed to tag out to their perspective partners, but Sullivan would land a running forearm that led to the DOUBLE FOOT STOMP finisher! He covered Williams and garnered the three count to become the first ever PNW National Tag Team Champion.
MAGNUM TA lucked against ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX MATCH RATING: *** MATCH NOTES: the Butcher controlled about ninety-five percent of this match and even managed to bust open Magnum's forehead during one of Abdullah's charades. 'the Sudanese Nightmare' appeared to run away with the match but Magnum TA countered a turnbuckle charge with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX to get the unlikely victory. The Tacoma, Washington teletron comes to life and slowly the "Line in the Sand" ballad begins to play as scenes flash on the teletron. A helicopter is shown landing with four individuals getting out and walking toward the camera. The four individuals were dressed to the nines in Armani suites and they wore sunglasses that made it hard to make out their facial features. The scene faded and a phrase was left on the screen "Natural Selection has arrived." BRITISH BULLDOGS duked ROCK AND ROLL EXPRESS, after Dynamite Kid pinned Robert Gibson with a DIVING HEAD BUTTMATCH RATING: ** MATCH NOTES: Do not let the match rating fool you as this was a real 'slobberknocker' of a match! However, the Tacoma, WA fans did not know which team to cheer for as both teams are fan favorites! The contest see-sawed and either team could have won but it would be Dynamite Kid landing a DIVING HEAD BUTT to put Gibson's shoulders down for the count. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINAL BRUISER BRODY whooped KEVIN SULLIVAN via. JUMPING KNEE DROPMATCH RATING: * 1/2 MATCH NOTES: Kevin Sullivan would be denied running the proverbial gauntlet on both PNW Championships as Brody beat the tar out of him! After the five minute mark, Bruiser Brody used a JUMPING KNEE DROP to become the first ever National Champion.**SPECIAL CHALLENGE**STAN HANSEN & LONG RIDERS and KENNY OMEGA & YOUNG BUCKS battled to a double disqualification.MATCH RATING: **** MATCH NOTES: Wow! A match that has been building over the last couple of weeks thrilled the Tacoma fans! The arena watched as Omega and Hansen tore it up against one another with neither gaining the advantage for long. Surprisingly, the newly arrived Long Riders were able to 'hang and bang' with the Young Bucks but they were obviously outclassed! Nick Jackson would blast "Wild" Bill Irwin with the INDYTAKER and Matt Jackson went for the pin attempt but Scott "Hog" Irwin entered the squared circle to break up the attempt and a scuffle quickly ensued between the Long Riders and the Bucks that would be followed shortly by Omega and Hansen. The referee tried to restore order for a moment but threw his hands up and called for the bell. Security ran down to ringside and began to separate the visiting HCW stars and those of the PNW as well as the ringside announcer surveyed that this match was ruled a double disqualification! It appears that nothing has been settled between PNW's Stan Hansen and HCW's Kenny Omega just yet.

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MATCHESYEAR ONE TOUR TWO SHOW THREE PORT ORCHARD, WA[Highlights of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIOT pay Per View played on the screen with tidbits showing Varsity Club winning the National Tag Championship, Bruiser Brody on the turnbuckle with the National Championship after plowing through an already tired Kevin Sullivan, and the brawl between Stan Hansen & The Long Riders and HCW's own Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.] - TERRY GORDY devastated LA MASCARA NEGRA via. BAMM BAMM SLAM (SQUASH)- IVAN KOLOFF pummeled BIG VAN VADER via. RUSSIAN SICKLEMATCH NOTES: The big man from the Rocky Mountains did not look impressive this match and there is a rumor that upper management isn't happy with his performance. Koloff rolled him like a seven dollar blunt and put Vader away with a RUSSIAN SICKLE after only a couple minutes of action. (* 1/2)- DOUBLE JEOPARDY beat HARLEM HEAT, after Stevie Ray was counted out against Justin Credible.MATCH NOTES: Immediately after the bell rang, Justin Credible used a corner power bomb on Booker T that nearly received a three count. Corino and Credible worked their 'hardcore magic' on the newcomers and the Harlem Heat did not know how to counter their opponents. After a chair shot by Steve Corino on Stevie Ray, the Harlem, NY native would not be able to get into the squared circle before the ten count. (**)- MAGNUM TA pinned MATT RIDDLE via. BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXMATCH NOTES: A decent match! Both competitors took some serious bumps and the Port Orchard arena roared their approval. After Matt Riddle tossed Magnum into the ropes, he got into position for a back body drop but Magnum TA raised his opponent up and executed a picture perfect BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! The referee slid into position and slapped the canvas three times and awarded the contest to Magnum TA. (** 1/2)NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH - MIDNIGHT EXPRESS upset VARSITY CLUB(ch), after Bobby Eaton used VEG-O-MATIC on Mike RotundaMATCH NOTES: Want to talk about crazy? Well...Jim Cornette stood into the interview area blabbing about his momma, how she believes that the Midnight Express has earned a title shot, and not the joke the PNW management has happening this particular evening. The action inside the ring was good but the hijinks on the outside of the squared circle made the match. Stan Lane nailed Mike Rotunda with the team finisher of GRAVE DIGGER and went for the cover.
However, Fallen Angel jumped on to the apron distracting the official and broke the count. While Angel and the referee argued, Rotunda regained his composure and unleashed a fireball into Lane's face. "Sweet" Stan rolled on the ground writhing in pain and Rotunda covered him for a pin attempt. Meanwhile, Cornette saw the fireball and muttered "cheese and crackers" as he sprinted toward the ring! The momma's boy tossed white powder into Mike Rotunda's eyes and Lane managed to make the 'hot tag'. Bobby Eaton came down on the Varsity Club member with a VEG-O-MATIC as Fallen Angel chased Cornette to the locker room.
Kevin Sullivan tried to break up the pin attempt but was tripped by the singed Stan Lane. 1-2-3! The Midnight Express instantly became the #1 contenders! (* 1/4)

THE WEEKDAY GRINDYEAR ONE TOUR TWO SHOW FOUR BELLEVUE, WA
- ROCK AND ROLL EXPRESS outclassed MASKED TERROR & JERRY FARGAS, after Robert Gibson used a CROSSBODY BLOCK on Jerry Fargas (SQUASH) - "DR. DEATH" STEVE WILLIAMS rolled "BALTIMORE" BOB with a Doctor Bomb (SQUASH) ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER bloodied BOBO BRAZIL via. SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER MATCH NOTES: A brutal match! Abdullah used a foreign object and karate chops to the Bobo's throat numerous times. Brazil was covered in crimson after only a few minutes into the bout and attempted to rally but the "Sudanese Nightmare" proved to much to handle. Paul Jones's protΓ©gΓ© executed a SUDANESE MEAT CLEVER and easily pinned his opponent. (****) STAN HANSEN made quick work of ROB VAN DAMM via. LARIAT MATCH NOTES: Hansen apparently meant business and wanted everyone to know that he is indeed very dangerous inside the squared circle. The Texas native simply overwhelmed "Mister Saturday Night" with several high impact maneuvers and garnered the three count after a nasty looking LARIAT clothesline. (* 1/2) BRITISH BULLDOGS outlasted LONG RIDERS, after Davey Boy Smith pinned SCOTT IRWIN with a double head butt MATCH NOTES: The two teams paired up well against one another and put on a show! Both sides used several finishers that produced false finishes but the Bulldogs would be the one to have the count stick after a double head butt. (*** 1/4) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH PETE DUNNE won against BRUISER BRODY by disqualification.MATCH NOTES: A short match! Bruiser Brody pummeled Pete Dunne for several minutes but the British born wrestler fired back with an X-Plex on the ring apron! This caused Brody to absolutely lose his mind and the champion blasted Dunne with a steel chair repeatedly shortly after. The referee called for the bell and awarded Pete the duke as a result of a disqualification. (1/2 *)

Well, ok then... Looks like I missed a couple shows there, but I'm all caught up now! Great seeing the Bulldogs on a hot streak... And Pete Dunne's non-title win over Brody is big news, despite a DQ finish... Very entertaining!
